DIVERGE.

Decided on a date night with my husband and as usual, Diverge didn’t disappoint!!! I’ve never had a bad meal here and usually recommend it as one of my favorites in Dover. I had the salmon and risotto, which were cooked to perfection! The salmon was slammin! The dessert was decadent!
Nick was an outstanding server and the hospitality was off the hook!!!

Casual and friendly with great tasting dishes. We had a few drinks, Steak Tips, Mac Chesse, and Wings. The chips and dip was delish as well. Definitely check it out. Don't think it will disappoint.

We had steak tips, korean pork belly, seasonal salad, and chocolate cake; all delicious. As importantly, all meals were beautifully arranged on the plates. 🤩 The waitress was quick, attentive, and friendly. Good location with a view on the water.

Very happy with everything. The buffalo chicken tenders were amazing! The blue cheese dip, really made it perfect. We shared a lobster roll! 🤤 yum

Fantastic chef and service. Such an unexpected gem. The menu has a mix of appetizers and main courses for all tastes, all served with great presentation. The service was so professional and attentive. In terms of atmosphere-The brick walls and original mill features are inviting The teal paint is a bit distracting but doesn’t impact the quality meals of course. Just try it out!!!

We went to this restaurant on a recommendation from Seacoast Eats Facebook page. So glad that we went here. The brussels sprouts appetizer was phenomenal like many other reviewers have said. The gnocchi and Delicata squash entrée was also amazing. Just enough food and did not overdo it. My partner loved his steak entrée and chicken tenders appetizer. No desserts here but we were completely full anyway. Their drinks are quite delicious and different as well.

Best Meal I've had in New Hampshire!

The Salmon and Risotto was flavorful and cooked to perfection (the salmon even had the crispy skin!)

I came for an early dinner with a coworker; and we were both incredibly satisfied with our meals and service.

The teal walls are inviting; and the vines draping over the windows add so much charm. The playlist is cheerful and upbeat; and the paintings of water throughout are beautiful.

Absolutely stop by Diverge. This was wonderful AND they accomodate gluten-free.

The food exceeds anything that I've ever experienced in New England. Each plate, with it's unique flavors showcases the chefs talent to take simple dishes to the next level.

Life is too short to eat food that is just ok. Diverge delivers with consistent quality. Ok, everyone has an off night. But not tonight. The kitchen was running like a 12 cylinder Rolls Royce engine. Too many times we have eaten at restaurants with the "best view" or the "best atmosphere" only to be served, just "ok" food. People.......it is not about what colors the walls are painted. When I go out to a restaurant, I expect the kitchen to be able to cook better than me. PHENOMENAL JOB

If I could leave Diverge 10 stars I would! We have been several times in the last few months and the quality of food exceeds expectations. Skip the chain restaurants in Dover and check this hidden gem out. You will NOT regret it.

Absolutely perfect dinner! The mussels and Brussels sprouts were perfect starters and the scallops were to die for!!
Melissa, our server, was attentive, funny, sweet, and knowledgeable about the menu. 10/10, we will definitely be back!!

Great food and great service! I got the salmon and it was fantastic. Everyone else’s dishes looked amazing too. Waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere felt very inviting.

Best meal I have had in quite some time. Get the mussels and pork belly - a must! Burger and linguine were great entrees. Flavors were flavorful and portions were huge. Would recommend and come back again!

What a great place to go out to eat at. The staff is great. Table are spaced more than 6' apart. Cocktails were fabulous. The burger was cooked great.....as requested med-rare. Tonights special was Seafood Fettucine......WOW.......Scallops, Shrimp, Mussels, Pancetta with Roasted Tomatoes and Pesto...did I say WOW. What a minute, I mean....Icky....I don't want the secret to get out!!

Blackend Salmon wasn't on the menu, but they made it! Short ribs with risotto was awesome!! Very friendly and attentive staff!!

My family and I decided to try this spot based on the reviews and it did not disappoint! Food was AMAZING and some of the best we've had in the area. We ordered the brussel sprouts, prime rib, lobster mac n cheese, and scallops.... all were 10/10... Can't wait to come back soon! Service was also great!

We love trying new places, and Diverge. in downtown Dover doesn't disappoint.

We were greated instantly when we entered. Good vibe. Good lighting. Easily digestible music playlist. Quick service at the bar.

We intended to stay for a drink and an app. Ordered Tito's & soda. Tried the PEI Mussels which were fantastic. (Side note, the accompanying bread was glorious.) Mussels were so good, in fact, that we stayed and ordered Manhattans and calamari. We're calamari fans but have never had an order quite like this: the lemon aioli was sweet and was a perfect accompaniment to the pepper relish.

WOULD RECOMMEND?
Yes. And yes, yes, yes.

From the bar to dessert, this is the place for dinner in Dover. The food is so good, fresh made. You won’t find pork belly any better anywhere else. Bacon on steroids!! Burgers, steaks, fish and chicken all tailored by a chef who knows what he’s doing. Cocktails by a bartender that knows how to make a good drink. Great location and atmosphere.

One of our first times back out given what's going on in the world and we will surely be coming back again. Staff is awesome and quick! Beautiful inside the building, large ceilings and plenty of room. Thank you for a terrific dinning experience.

This is definitely the most underrated restaurant in Dover. We have been several times, ordered many different entrees and appetizers and everything has been phenomenal every time. The Caesar salad is to die for, the chicken sandwich and the steak sandwich are also stand outs!
