Aubuchon Hardware

This is, hands down, the best hardware store I've ever entered...and I've been in a lot of them. Easy location, friendly, and helpful. They have it all. I'm grateful for their presence in Dover.

The Dover, NH Aubuchon has been a reliable problem solver for decades. This time I needed a new kitchen faucet. I am not a plumber so I needed a little help. The Dover store staff took time to listen, then opened the package to make sure it was the correct fitting, and made sure I left with what I needed.

Small local business that my family loves to support. Not only do they have 2 “in-store” feline friends, but they have a great and thorough selection of all our hardware store needs. Huge paint selection. Friendly helpful staff. A rewards program that actually pays you back for shopping there. I have $5 rewards to use there frequently. I give our Dover Aubuchon Hardware store a big thumbs up!

This is a great hardware store, the paint department service is excellent -- so helpful and very efficient in mixing our paint choices. They also carry a wide range of products so you always find what you are looking for.

Easy order and friendly staff at pick up at Dover NH store. Do double check the location before placing your order. Mine first went to Fitchburg MA, even with Dover as my preferred store. The staff there was also very helpful in resolving this problem quickly and making sure I still received my reward dollars. Thank you!

I wasn't able to pick up my order when I said I would and I really appreciated the gentle reminder, instead of daily texts I've received from other places. You all are the best and that's why I buy from you. Love that you are the local hardware store. Less overwhelming than a big box store, too.

I called to ask if they had an item and Troy Richard answered the phone. He went to the aisle and checked to see if they had the item I wanted and then offered to HOLD it at the counter. Customer service like this is rare these days. Much appreciated Dover Aubuchon! Kudos to Troy!!

Great little hardware store that's very convenient to get to when you're in town. They carry everything, they've always had everything I've ever needed no matter how random. Good selection of high quality dog food, and the paint department has always been super helpful. The staff are always eager to help you, and the rewards program is definitely worth it.

The people who work in the store are friendly and helpful, and the store has all my basic hardware needs, everything from nuts&bolts, paint brushes, paint, tape, cleaning supplies, and furnace filters, to light bulbs, plumbing supplies and bird houses. The store is clean and maintains safety protocols. We need a store like this in every town!

They just had a waterline above the building break and everyone was working to help clean. I was still able to purchase what I needed and the cashier was very pleasant despite the troubles.

Used the online order pick up. I was surprised how quickly they mixed the paint and had my order ready! After arriving, the employee brought my order out in a timely manner and the order was correct. I would use this service again!

Friendly helpful people, nice to have a locally owned place that gives you the help and support that only a small family run store can give you. They support local people with personal on one support. Well worth making this your first stop for your hardware and painting needs.

It's rare to find a good hardware store these days - rarer still to find one like Aubuchon in Dover. I had an issue that developed and needed their help to resolve it. They did a phenomenal job. Thank you! And do make it a point to give these guys your business.
