Splendid place downtown Portsmouth. They're dog friendly and were kind enough to give us an outside table on a long weekend without any prior reservations. The staff was welcoming and the food was really good. The portions were big and there were plenty of vegetarian options. We could also enjoy some street music and overall it was a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this place!

We ended up having dinner at this brewery even though we had other prefererred places on our day trip to NH. It was great!
All the food was so delicious and the beers were, too.
The waiter was so nice to bring another beer when my friend wasnt a fan of the sour one she got.
Would definitely eat/drink here again.

My Food was delicious and yummy. The fish sandwich hit the spot. It was big in size. My server checked on us from time to time very sweet. And she provided me with hot sauce that I needed lol .

We stopped in here because we love beer- who doesn’t?! We decided to get some food as well. The beer was great and so was the food. We got two different types of loaded fries- the cheese and the Irish curry. Both phenomenal! The other two in our party did the lobster roll and the nachos and they say those were great too. I would happily return!

A great little brewery located in downtown Portsmouth. We had a really good customer service the feta spread was incredible and their chicken schnitzel was delicious. I highly recommend this place. Oh and the most important thing a great variety of beer.

Friendly staff, nice courtyard seating, quick service. Beer is good. But the food... The fried haddock sandwich is probably the best I've had. Bean dip.. delicious. Even kale salad, tasty. Definitely will return.

Had the fish and chips, great portion size. The chips went along well with the special tartar sauce. The nachos are gargantuan. Don't under estimate them. Blueberry IPA to top it off. Beautiful location with great historical views. I recommend it as a solid stop thru New England.

We had a great time at this brewery. Had a beer flight—I liked how you could pick the size of your flight too. I enjoyed their seasonal pumpkin beer among others. We didn’t try the food but did enjoy the beer. We would return for sure.

Great location. Cool vibe👍🏽Has a vast space to enjoy a huge selection of beer! Enjoyed my beer flight! There’s food to enjoy with your drink. Has a small patio, as well. Well maintained bathroom. Staff is very friendly and efficient.

I tried the Bramblin’ Man, a kettle sour… yum! And we had the seafood chowder, very delish, and the veggie Grilled Brewer’s Malt flatbread. Everything was tasty.

Wonderful place to eat! Came on a Saturday night and was able to get in quickly. Had the best waitress named Michelle, she went above and beyond for us. Food was really good as well as the drinks!

Absolutely amazing! Breweries often rely on their beer and serve subpar food, but the food here is delicious! Everything was fresh and flavorful. Also, the menu has great variety!

Fantastic service, tried all the beer available in the flights. It’s the place to go in Portsmouth if you’re a beer lover or just love dining in a bar setting. Food was great can’t complain! Ask for vegan options there’s a few to choose from.

Love going to the Brewery!! Went for a birthday party and was pleasantly surprised that they had a Beer Garden outside for us to use!! We had plenty of space in the open air for all of us! The food was awesome!! Mini lobster rolls, deviled eggs, sausage rolls, chicken tenders and a charcuterie board! OMG, all so good!! Great place for parties for sure!! They did a great job and everyone had fun!!

Local brewpub doing everything right. Great beer, classic styles, fun twists. Food is amazing! Mussels in curry sauce pairs beautifully with the Vienna Lager. Shrimp and grits was the best I ever had. Highly recommended!

Lovely stop on the way up to Maine. Portsmouth brewery was a quick and easy lunch stop. The pumpkin beer was great, not too sweet or heavy. Quick service and friendly staff.

Phenomenal grilled tofu sandwich. We stopped on the way home to Maine from Boston, but it's worth the hour drive from home just for the sandwich. Love the options for both vegans and meat eaters alike.

Surprisingly, the Portsmouth Brewery is only 30 years old. I would have thought it had more history since some of the decorations have a bit of kitschy 1950s feel. It's also a lot bigger than I thought, judging from the outside. We were seated upstairs near the skylight.

Being in a brewery, we had to try their beers. We started with the Blueberry Ale - light golden ale with Maine blueberries, and the Libeeration - helps women deal with hormone shifts that come with age, Saphir hops in secondary fermentation. It appealed to me, since I am getting older and I am a woman. It was practically targeting me.

$20 Beer-Battered Fish and Chips - white fish, french fries, malt vinegar:
Two large fried fish filets rested on top of a bed of fries, with a side of tartar sauce, mustard, and a couple of lemon wedges. The fish was crisp and tender on the inside.

$16 Mussels - w/ grilled garlic crostini:
For the price, this was a generous amount of mussels with good flavor in a bowl of savory broth, and crostini with grill marks on top.

The food was great and our server was very sweet. We were weighed down with seafood and glad to have chosen this place for dinner in adorable Portsmouth, NH.

An absolute MUST if you're in the area. Great rotating beer selection, and you can see the brew tanks from the dining area. 🍻🍽

Staff are super friendly and accommodating. They know their beers, and are happy to give their recommendations. The seasonal ginger pepper beer was refreshing and pleasantly spicy. 🌶

Food is standard pub fare. My chicken sandwich had cheese curds as a topping, which was interesting and nice (maybe a little dry). The veggie burger and kids chicken strip were also a hit. Fries were tasty (obviously) 🍟.

Small outdoor patio seats about 10, so get there before the lunch rush.

Adjacent is the gift shop, selling off-sales, shirts, magnets, and other assortments.

The food and overall atmosphere was great. I ordered the pretzel and I am happy to report it was delicious. Although the pretzel would have been better with a mornay sauce, the pub cheese is an improvement from the pimento cheese they last had. Great experience and would recommend!
