Always an amazing experience.
First class beer and food. All of the beer is excellent but pay attention to the seasonal and barrel aged selections.
The food is also excellent. Pay attention to the seasonal menu. This time around I had the meatballs in Leige sauce. Awesome. And the brownie was luscious.

The fish and chips was the best I ever had! Delicious and perfect! The Mac and cheese is creamy and filling. I really enjoy the Mexican beer as well. Very nice restaurant and outdoor area with fire pit. Highly recommend for families, friends, and intimate gathering.

PFriem is a fantastic and vibing restaurant/bar in Hood River. Located very close to the water front and gives a fantastic view of Washington. Staff are very nice and the beer is top notch!

Most drinks are available in 3 different sizes, and the price is pretty reasonable. There are some benches outside to sit at, though I do wish there were some tables.

Loved pFreim! Had their pimento cheese hamburger- well proportioned, highly recommend. The staff were kind and attentive, lovely restaurant with lots of light and can watch the action in the brewery.

German food done right! One of the best food experiences I’ve ever had. The beer is on point, and the food is so delicious. The fennel and arugula salad with pine nuts is a must try. The schnitzel, burger and bratwurst are phenomenal. No words can describe the pleasure it was dining at this place, and the views are stunning. It’s right on the Hood River.

#189 on my world brewery tour and got the chance to have a good talk with one of the brewers. Always a pleasure to share a moment with a fellow beer lover! Nice space, nice beer and nice people! Highly recommended!

Hit the spot after an afternoon of hiking! For beers I tried the Schankbier German Light Lager as well as the Japanese Lager. Both were really good, light and refreshing for a 100+ degree day! For a meal, I went with the Brat Plate which was very good. The portion size was great! I left feeling very satisfied without feeling like I ate too much. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I’d definitely go back.

A must stop after a long on the water. Enjoyed a beer flight ($2) per pour with the hummus plate. Great atmosphere for a social gathering. The menu is full of great selections and lots of shareable dishes. The mussels were a big hit, bratwurst plate with potatoes and chicken schnitzel made its way across our table. Ended up buying a couple of shirts and bottled beer orange zest beer to go.

It's was a cold November day. After a hike to Multnomah Falls my hubby and I drove the 30 mins to pFriem. Ordered a flight of 6 tastings and fries so we can decide what to take home to Cali. Service was great, fries had an amazing aioli sauce. Picked only 2 of the 6 to purchase but wanted more. If you are in Hood River stop by!

On the Hood River waterfront this brewery is modern with a PNW decor. Popular with always a lot of people indoors. At the time we went we were able to get a table. They have an outdoor bar area to enjoy your beverages. They had a good selection of beer and enjoyed the dark options they had. Lots of parking nearby. Fun atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Highly recommend the fried chicken burger, it was SO delicious and my favorite part of the meal! Also ordered the Mac & Cheese and hummus plate, which both were flavorful! Love the atmosphere here, we ate outside, which had great shelter from the wind. Can’t wait to come back!

I love their system when it comes to seating. They took my name and number and sent me a text when my table was ready. Made it easy to enjoy the scenery knowing that I'll be notified when it was my turn. The food was delicious. My daughters and I enjoyed the mac n cheese while my husband had the chicken sandwich. All was amazing. Also had the Mochiko chicken, which my husband said was one of the best he's ever had.

pFriem Family Brewers is excellent! We had the Hazy IPA & the Marzen. Both were outstanding. Got there just before the rush. Service was great and so was the food. I had the cheeseburger and the Boss had the Jagerschnitzel - delicious! The outdoor patio is semi dog friendly. Elvis had to sit outside the seating area. He gave us a bit of the stink eye but hopefully he will forgive us.

Buzzing bar/restaurant by the Hood River waterfront. It seems to be popular with both locals and tourists. We ordered mostly appetizers which were amazing, But we also enjoyed the schnitzel. Perfect after a day out on the water. The beers of course are good and so is the wine 🍷 selection (limited choice but good).

Beautiful scenic location ideal for post-mountain brews. I’ve always been a huge fan of pFriem beers at the store and have been wanting to come to their brewery. To my surprise, we came here for the beer and ended up falling for the food! The salmon chowder has generous servings of salmon and potatoes with a nice creamy texture, I would highly recommend it (and it very reasonably priced)! Overall I’d totally recommend this spot if you find yourself in the Hood River area.

You usually don’t go into a brewery in an emotional crying state. We were on vacation Saturday and shortly before entering Pfriem I got some hard news to take in about my family. It was a lot to process and I decided I just needed to push on with the evening and try to process it later. Zach picked up on my emotions immediately, hard not to, but he treated my husband and I with so much empathy, and love honestly. He assisted us that evening, and really treated us with compassion. It was so touching to be cared for in the situation I was in and the place I was. Obviously incredible beer, but Zach is who I would hope would be our server in good times and bad. Thank you for your support during this difficult time. ❤

By far the best beers in Hood River or anywhere in the surrounding area. Barrel-aged beers are second-to-none. On top of that, their food is actually some of the best in the area as well, and 100% consistent on every visit. I can’t recommend this place enough. Great service as well.

I love this place, been here many times, had a private event celebration here once too.
Consistent good food, and the food is not your average selection. The GF schnitzel and the mussels are 2 of my present favorites.
Beer is filtered so well I doubt it will give you a headache.
Service is good, be ware of the wait list. You want to eat here give yourself time to wait, the place gets busy because is great.

I wish we had visited pFriem first in our brewery visits. It was AMAZING. The beer was crisp, fresh and the food was phenomenal. I would go back if we had time. The wait staff knew their stuff and the atmosphere was open, classy and fun. Highly recommended.
