Hampton Inn & Suites Hood River

A very enjoyable stay and a great property. I stayed two nights, and the staff here are very customer service oriented. Tina at the front desk was the highlight of my stay, assisting me with questions before I had even arrived at the hotel. Upon arrival, she was very nice and provided me a list of the best restaurants in town along with things to do. The room was extremely clean, spacious, and comfortable with a great view. The parking situation was very easy, and there is a great sushi place just a few yards away! This hotel has a nice pool, gym, and hot tub, and is perfect for families. Everyone from the breakfast staff to the managers, to the housekeepers were on top of it. Thank you again Tina! I will definitely be back.

This hotel is about three years old and still smells new. Large, comfortable rooms, very nice bathrooms. Fairly quiet rooms considering it's located just off I-84. Very friendly staff.

The best hotel we have stayed in for the price in years. From extremely clean rooms, to allowing pets, to nice staff, to an outstanding (FREE) breakfast. We will be back! Also, so close to a nice walking trail & access to downtown.

This was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in! I really liked the shampoo and soap dispensers on the walls! And there was a handwritten note in our room when we arrived! Digital check in is also so nice and we had a really pretty view and were close to all the fun downtown restaurants!

Tina M helped us check in, we had some issues with Expedia booking but she guided us through it! She is incredibly patient and easy going. Thanks Tina for making our night. The room is really nice too!

Loved it. Text from staff after checking in making sure we were happy with the room which may be a bit invasive for some but fine to me and its nice to have a modern method point of contact other than a landline phone or going to front desk.
Pool was great for kids.
Fresh filtered water tap to fill up jugs before we left.
5 minute walk from downtown or windsurfing area, 2 minute drive.
Breakfast was good and fresh waffle making was cool.
Room was a nice layout and felt big.
Very friendly with dogs and a nice area right next to the front door where you can throw a ball for a dog and they can use the bathroom.
Overall good vibe, you could tell everyone was pretty happy with their stay.

Amazing location and staff. In walking distance to everything. My wife and I recently stayed for our anniversary and the staff went out of their way to make it great. This is probably my favorite Hilton property anywhere. I’ve never not had a 5/5 stay at this location.

The staff were very friendly, attentive and generous. The room was clean, beds extremely comfortable and the free breakfast was amazing. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in the entire area but the Hood River Hampton. Fantastic!

Whenever I visit Hood River, this has become the only place I will stay. The rooms are always clean. It’s one of the only 2-star hotels I know that has mouthwash in the bathrooms by default.

The staff is wonderful. Shout out to Tina.

Located close to pFriem and other waterfront eateries, not to mention the town shops, the location is perfect.

The room was clean, very comfortable, and the view was amazing. Located close to the riverfront park and many great eateries. The staff were friendly and helpful. They let us check in early, which was nice because our 2 year old needed a nap. We will definitely stay here again.

If I could give 4 1/2 stars I would, but I don't think the hotel deserves 4 stars, so I am going with 5. Room was upgraded to a river view, but had to go from a king to a queen, but no big deal. One other issue is that the the AC unit must be leaking water because it was wet on the floor around the unit, but we had two queen beds so no big deal.

I love stopping here!
I can stare at this view for hours! Tina is the best advocate for her home town. I just ask for her next recommendation for dinner and then come back and rest! Her suggestions never disappoint! I love that the next day, I can kayak or paddle board right next to the hotel! It wears out my kids too! The only thing I am going to add is an in room massage next time!

however they did offer 2
queen bed room with view so
we took it.... Was wonderful!

My husband and I (along with a group of guests from Australia) recently stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Hood River, as my daughter's wedding was in the area. I can say without question that it is a terrific facility, with modern spacious rooms which are well appointed. Centrally located, it was an easy walk either to the city centre, or East Marina Way (where there is a fabulous restaurant, Riverside). And a highlight of the stay was the exemplary service from Angel on the front desk! He was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him! He is indeed an asset to the hotel!

Lovely location on the river. Nice rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast is great and the staff are amazing. So friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and ours has a great view of the river. Easy parking and walking into town with great sushi nearby. The Brewery was amazing.

This hotel was amazing! The costumer services from the beginning to end was above and beyond amazing. That staff were very helpful with choosing local places to eat and things to see. The staff was very accommodating with me when I didn’t have a microwave in my room.
The pillows were so comfortable and the room was very clean and nice. The location was very conveniently close to everything.

I highly recommend this place to all passing through, visiting for leisure or staying for work.

Wonderful hotel, location is good with the only exception of this hotel is the freeway noise is pretty house. The management does an outstanding job though of finding accommodations for you if it bothers you, from ear plugs, white noise or fans being offered. Other than that so many positive things about this hotel, from the friendly and accommodating staff, large breakfast selection, decent pool (although very loud) and hot tub and very nice weight room. Last but not least the beautiful views from the hotel and outside it along with walking paths!

We enjoyed the staff who were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. We stayed four nights and had the free breakfast each morning, which was by far the best free breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. The egg and meat options were even a different kind each day and they all tasted amazing! The hot tub heater was broken and the manager kindly reached out and gave a good explanation of how they were working to get it fixed. We were shown incredible hospitality and kindness.

The rooms are great, as is the view. I love the continental breakfast (waffles and strawberries, yes!). What really blew me away was the customer service. All of the staff has been helpful and kind. I have mobility issues and forgot my crutches at home. The lady at the front desk loaned me a pair she had. I couldn't believe it. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Perfect weekend getaway! Our widow opened up to an unobstructed view of the massive Columbia River. The hotel staff were friendly and took care to make sure our stay as first-time guests was excellent. We were up early for a day of adventure and were stoked to see that breakfast was hot and ready! The room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. You also get 10% off the Sushi restaurant as guests of the hotel. Love the perks! Would remend it for your weekend getaway to Hood River.
