Excellent! We got the mountain omlet (side of biscuits and a pancake) with extra sausage gravy and the salmon and brie scramble (side of biscuits). Food came out quickly, everything was hot and fresh. Some of the best biscuits we have had.

Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and hardworking. Every team member we could see was working hard and had great attitudes.

The place itself is clean and comfortable!

The service here is great! The omelets and homemade cheese biscuits are big and delicious, the cinnamon roll French toast.. I would ride the two hours for that again and definitely get another cinnamon roll to go

When it comes to homemade dishes, you can't make a mistake. The smoked salmon benedict was incredibly fresh, and the sauce was delicate. Even though I was already full, I couldn't resist trying marionberry pie, and I have no regrets; it was truly delectable.

If you are in the Hood River area, I would highly recommend coming here for breakfast or just take-away the biggest cinnamon roll you've ever seen. Great service and the food is good too! I've been here a few times and always want to find a reason to be in the area for breakfast.

Excellent food and service. The baked goods are made from scratch and sinfully delicious. The cinnamon rolls are the size of your head and good enough to make you cry tears of joy. Don't miss this little spot, it's a delight 😊

I'm a professional state tour guide, and you won't find a more authentic Oregon breakfast-lunch-dessert diner than Bette's Place. Tucked atop Hood River's adorable main street, Bette's is a snapshot of Americana in motion. The menu is melting pot of our state's history made with a grandmother's love, always with fresh local ingredients. Ask a local and they'll agree, Bette's Place is great place to be.

Cinnamon Rolls A MUST, don’t even try to “save room for” anything else. Every thing we tried was well sized, fresh and prepared expertly. Huevos Rancheros flared with fresh cilantro and a crisped tortilla, Crab Skillet loaded with avocado! All very good

Best food even totally worth the drive from Portland every time we go. Huge portions and the food is fantastic. Oh and if you can get there early to get one of their cinnamon rolls.

We had Dungeness Crab Eggs Benedict (upper left in photo), and Eggs Florentine, and both were amazing! Got cinnamon rolls to take home, HUGE and really good - not too sticky-sweet and just the right amount of frosting. Will definitely recommend.

I live in Florida and arrived in Oregon to 23 degrees and snow. This place made me forget the weather. Great food, Great service and huge portions. The housemade muffins were served warm. My grandmother didn't make muffins, but I am sure if she did, they wouldn't have been as good as Bette's. Sorry Grandma.

WOW, JUST WOW, this place was amazing, it was so good we at there 3 days in a row. Perfect corned beef hash, lemon French Toast! Shut the front door. So good. Banana nut muffins to die for. Do yourself a favor and eat here

Phenomenal breakfast, best I've had in a while. The cinnamon rolls are the size of a small dog... be hungry or share! I had the breakfast skillet and added some country gravy, because they just do country gravy right (not too thick, not to runny, lots of flavor). Busy on a weekend morning, but lots of seating and well worth the wait. Do it!

This place has such an eclectic menu with options for everyone! It was difficult to choose as a result, but that's always welcomed! The baked goods sides were phenomenal and massive! They cater to gluten free, dairy free and low calorie diets. We had a large group and we were taken great care of. Definitely recommend!

Amazing breakfast! Everything was perfect. I had the mexi scramble with fruit. Fruit selection is so good, several kinds and they give you a large bowl of it compared to most fruit sides at other diners. We didn't try the cinnamon rolls but took a picture of them. They had just come out of the oven and were dripping icing.

The food comes in huge portions! But everything is sooo fresh and yummy. I had to come back for the chorizo burrito, because it was so good the first time. The sourdough toast is a must have! I snag a slice from my partner when we come. The sausage patties are huge! It’s clear love is put into the food. I’m not a breakfast person, but this place has me questioning my personal tastes.

Great local diner. The food is what it should be and the service was excellent. It's not gourmet, but it's delicious. I had the smoked salmon burrito, and it was great. My wife had a hamburger, and thought the onion rings were some of the best she's ever had.

This place was great! The food was delicious and their name bars and muffins were amazing! We ended up eating breakfast there both days we were in town. Highly recommend checking this place out for breakfast and if you don't have time at least for their baked goods! Definitely will be back when we come to visit.

After a few errands we stopped at Bette's place for brunch. I had 🦀 crab Benedict, and my friend had Denver omelette with fried red potatoes and rye bread. Both were cooked to perfection and plenty of food for the largest of appetites . The place was busting with customers, service is quick and correct, waitresses friendly, the biggest cinnamon rolls! Order rolls Early or they sell out! We settled on maple bars, also huge.

We were able to walk in and got sat immediately on Saturday morning. Enjoyed a fresh orange juice and coffee before we devoured the chorizo burrito, Dungeness crab Benny, and a pancake. So much crab on the Benny - it was delicious. Would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling on I-84.
