I needed some new shoes and this was my second stop. I so gm glad I stopped here,
Holly was AWESOME, she measured my feet and found out my feet have changed over the years. She took the time to explain and find the best shoe for me. I have had a lot of foot pain and am looking forward to see if the new shoes fix the problem. She said come back if not and they also do orthotic insert fitments. A+++ service and will be shopping here again for sure.

I showed up 10 minutes before closing and they very willingly helped me try on 2 pairs of shoes while giving open, unbiased assessments of the different shoes. They also wanted to measure my foot just to make sure I got the right fit! I’ve been coming here for years and this was just another good experience.

I had the BEST customer experience ever here. The sales associate that helped me pick out a new pair of shoes was one of the most phenomenal I have ever had. He measured my foot, picked out three great options based on my activities and then helped fit me with a shoe horn and by putting the shoes on my feet! He was also super knowledgeable. Huge shout out to Mark and the entire Shortt Supply crew. Wow. Wow. Wow.

Kelsey just sold me a running experience in the form of a running shoe. My daughter told me that this place is awesome and I totally agree. Sorry Jeff Bezos...I am coming here for future purchases.

My Wife and I are long time runners. We stopped in a week ago to get me a new pair of shoes and while watching me get fit for a shoe she decided to get a pair as well. Gary made it all easy with his kind and caring insight he picked the perfect shoe for us both, thank you Sir. Last night we had one of our greatest runs ever, hopefully the first of many more. Gary you were our side quest in order to level up. Again thank you Sir. and thank you Short Supply for empoying such a great human.

We’ve been shopping at Shortt Supply for close to 20 years. The staff are AMAZING! So knowledgeable and incredibly helpful, they are masters at helping you find the right shoes for your feet. Now that I have school-aged track and XC runners, I am also a huge fan of their generous discount for kids in running programs. Shortt Supply is THE BEST!

Our favorite running store! They do offer more than just cool running gear, but that’s were we go for all our shoes! If you haven’t gotten fitted for shoes, you need to go in and have them do it. Often times you get sore feet or blisters is because your shoes are not the right size. They also offer a wide variety of hiking gear, sunglasses, Garmin watches, Hydroflask and much, much more!

I needed some help moving from a hiking boot to a trail shoe. Gary spent time with me, taking my measurements. I left with the perfect pair of shoes! What a great experience!

We had an amazing experience here getting new shoes for our continuing PCT thru hike. This took me back to when stores cared about service and not just making a sale. If only more places could figure out that great service probably means great sales. It was also refreshing talking to salespeople not in high school who new the product inside out. Great job Cathy and Karen! Wife and I both switched from Altra LP 4's to Hokas. Highly recommend this store if you need shoes!

Came in looking for supportive shoes for my restaurant job— Kim took her time helping me find the perfect shoe and understood what I was looking for being on my feet for hours at a time. She measured my feet sitting and standing and explained what I should look for based on how my feet are shaped etc. Excellent service, best place to buy running/athletic shoes in the gorge.

Good quality merchandise and top-notch customer service. Prices are high, but I dont mind when quality and service is also high. Have bought my last several pairs of walking shoes here and will definitely be back.

I dont live anywhere near Hood River but I dont get my tennis shoes anywhere else without regretting it. They keep track of my foot, any changes and shoe preference. I only visit the area about once a year and if I need shoes in between trips, they are willing to ship.

Forgot my hiking shoes at home so we decided it was time for a new pair. The staff was very knowledgeable and got me in a pair of trail runners that I hiked in that day and they were very comfortable. Met all my needs in a timely manner.

I had the opportunity to visit this store on a trip to Oregon from New York. As an avid runner/triathlete/adventurist, I was so impressed with the selection Shortt Supply offered! I have never seen fingerless UV protected glove/sleeves! The workers were so friendly and Holly was so knowledgeable and helpful with measuring my feet and offering suggestions for running shoes based on what I told her. Loved the family feel with the big store selection

Well, where to start. Great store, nice layout, knowledgeable staff and just about everything you want for running, walking and backpacking. I have to caution you though, you may spend more than you intended. They always have a sale rack going.

Brian and Karen are the best. They care about you and your feet. I rely on them exclusively to help me find my next pair of shoes for walking and hiking. They are knowledgeable about fit and about shoes and it is reflected in the way they take care of their customers. I would give them 10 stars!
