I live in Yakima WA. and my daughter is in Portland, Or. She was married in Parkesdale Or. 9/9/23. I ordered a wedding cake from this store and had the best experience with your cake decorator. She custom made the frosting to the perfect antique white that we wanted and showed me the box she would put it in to get it to Parkesdale. When we came to pick it up it was exactly as we wanted it and she knew I was nervous about the transport so she gave me extra frosting for any touch up I might need. I really want you to all know what a gem you have in her! Thank you so much for helping in the making of a beautiful day for us.

Safeway is an awesome place to shop. They go above and beyond to maintain a safe, clean and friendly environment. The prices are reasonable and they have a variety of name brand products as well as the Safeway products.
When possible, I simply try to go with the Safeway brand products when I can because believe it or not it is the same product but you're not paying extra $$ for the advertised name brand products.

Tasty blueberry vanilla muffins and chicken Caesar wraps. Easy to see In normal traffic.

Safeway's great it's got what I need. And I'm a vegetarian with gluten allergies. I also use the pharmacy it's a wonderful place the staff is amazing and there is a Is Wells Fargo bank inside. There are also automatic disabled drivable chairs for the handy capable. There is staff that will carry your bags out to your car for. There is a wonderful wine department and beer plus ciders. Their produce is pretty good most of the time not the most organic or locally sourced products at all. Is a wonderful bakery and a wonderful is wonderful deli along with a Mini sushi bar. Their customer service desk can take care of any of your check cashing and lottery lottery needs with 2 additional automated lottery machines and one redbox also a coin machine.

Jenny helped me checkout late in the night, like 10 pm or maybe even 11. She is SO professional, knows what she's doing & knows about a lot of items there, also knows & is fast at her job as well. I love when she is my checker, & Clancy Farell as well, are my 2 favorite checkers.

I Recycled my Plastic Bottles and got More Bananas for Home inside the Store!! And they Have Great Chinese

Turned in cans ev1 the worker "Colby" and customer service personnel. Inside were deserving of recognition...perhaps raises. Prompt friendly pro service provided

Typical Safeway, clean. Reasonable prices, fairly easy parking

Easy in and out of you time it right. Great people, friendly. Down side, you catch things at a busy time, you will stand in line. I always remember that the cashier will be standing for some time after I leave. Then, sucks. But hood way to meet your neighbors.

Safeway HR is without a doubt an awesome place to buy the groceries and the products my family needs at prices that are reasonable and affordable. The workers there are knowledgeable friendly fun and courteous. Thank you Safeway Management for hiring such amazing professionals. One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had! I came here from out of the area on a trip and needed things for the weekend. Absolutely everyone in here was so kind and helpful. Management was great in helping me reach up top for some styrofoam coolers, produce department was well informed, friendly cashier Laura to chat with! Thanks so much

Safeway is open from 6 AM to 12 AM., Making it a very convenient way to shop before or after work or if you’re traveling. For those who love Starbucks coffee and drinks they are conveniently located in all their Safeway storesThey have self checkouts or very friendly cashiers. I found the organically grown vegetables and fruit always fresh.

Store is laid out well, good prices, parking is easy. Nearly everyone I see who works here is friendly and helpful. Sometimes lines are long, but such is life. Plenty of self check-out lanes.

I shop Hood River Safeway most of the time. They are always friendly and helpful. They are clean throughout the store, including restrooms. Their shelves are always well stocked with items. My one complaint is the can and bottle return. I stood in line for an hour and half while one person counted returns. Other than this I would recommend this Safeway to anyone.

Busy today ,But Thankful for the people that are working. They all had smiles on their faces here at Safeway and you just know that they are tired...
Because of them we can go shopping. So don't complain how long it takes to check out. It could be closed because of Covid 19.

This Safeway has a good deli. The fried chicken is really good. Call ahead for a large order and it's the best I've had.

This is the first Safeway I ever shopped in , now I’m hooked! I like the layout of the store . The produce is gorgeous and delicious. The meat is perfect for my needs. Safeway’s Lucerne brand of dairy products are my real fave . They have the best lactose free milk and creamer I have ever tasted. When it goes on sale , it’s amazing . And that is quite often . Earning points on my Safeway member card is important because I use it to get discounts on their gas. As as a person that has to use premium gas.. it’s major.
