I have been a customer at this target for about 5 years i’ve been yelled at, dismissed, and ignored by many of the employees managers and general staff. One time one of them even told me that i “got a big head boa” which i felt was very rude. I am giving all of these examples because today i had an interaction with somebody who was just the opposite. Saul the cart attendant was one of the most helpful, kind employees i’ve ever met. In conversation with him i learned that he has big aspirations to go to college and become a doctor. Generally i do not leave reviews but i just had to say something. Saul helped me not only to find a cart when i first arrived but also to carry out my flat screen tv i had just bought. Personally, i found it very odd that they would make a young man such as him help people carry something so heavy to their cars but alas he did it with no complaints. After the exchange he looked at me, smiled, and said “have a wonderful rest of your night” and proceeded to take my cart back rather than leaving it around the parking lot. In the short time i knew him, i knew that he was a fine young man. Thank you for everything Saul from Target. Thank you.

Love this Starbuck's! The partners at night are awesome! They remember my name and all my different drinks/modifications. So friendly and efficient that I come here more often and as a result end up spending in Target even when I didn't even plan on it, lol.

The Alameda, Ca Target store is well-maintained and the employees have been very kind and helpful whenever I had questions, especially in the Housewares (dishes and utensils) dept, the Groceries dept, the Starbucks cafe, the store-part of the Pharmacy dept, and the Customer Service desk (they allowed me to price-match an item with Walmart). Great job!! Thank you. I also appreciate the ample parking lot, and the numerous employees and security guards available and alert, even in the middle of the day. Sadly, safety has become a much more frequent problem in the Bay Area, and in Oakland/Emeryville it’s become too scary for me to park or shop at those Target stores. Grateful Alameda is still ok.

This is a good Target. I use the optical services and shop for food.

I am grateful for my local Target store. It is in walking distance, my doggie is welcome and we meet lots of wonderful people ~ my doggie is a magnet. Much of my personal, nutrition and household purchases can be satisfied at Target. And I am grateful for marked down items! I love that when I use my debit/credit card and misplace my receipts that I can return or exchange items. Overall employees are helpful and kind.

This Target has been consistently great with customer service. I've been shopping here for years, and have been especially impressed with their precautions and service since covid started. They did a good job trying to prevent hoarding (which kept the store well-stocked), distanced shoppers, and cleaned well. My favorite service is the drive up/curbside pickup. It's so efficient and user-friendly! I definitely do more grocery shopping at Target now because of its availability. It's also been 💯 accurate for me. I've rarely had out-of-stock items, and have never had an incorrect order. It saves so much time. Please keep this feature forever!!! Also, the Alameda staff are the best!

I'm a little disappointed with the selection for DVD's and Blu-ray discs here at this Target store location, even the section for CD's was pretty good along with the big section for Video Games, otherwise this is a very good Target store location at Alameda Landing in Alameda, thanks

The man who checked me out was the epitome of great customer service. He saw I was choosing a teller and waved me over. Then he was friendly, cheerful and engaging. He really made me feel good for visiting Target.

This was SO easy. Best experience yet. Employee finishing up with another customer came to my car just as I was pulling up, asked if I was picking up, took my info and said someone else was bringing it out. Then they both put my purchase in the back of my car. Customer Service + Teamwork = Happy Customer!

This is my first time visiting this Target and my experience was super efficient. I was so glad that Martha in electronics was able to help my friend and I with the things we needed. Her customer service was AMAZING. I don’t usually write reviews unless impressed or unimpressed and she really did a great job. She introduced the features to us on the Target app which saved my friend and I a few dollars, assisted us in finding a piece we needed for my car in electronics, and just great energy. If she’s not already in management, she definitely should be ! Aside from that the store layout was perfect . Got everything we needed in less than 10 minutes.

Great customer service from the team member that brought out my items. I also had a separate order that was pick up (drive up wasn't available when I placed my order) and he brought that order out as well. Extremely satisfied with the efficiency and superb assistance. Will definitely use drive up more often.

Target is always clean, the employees are always polite, its just always a nice experience over a lot of other retailers. Lines are never too long, even during the holidays, and if they start to back up they always get more people in a timely manner. Great selection of products, (clearance is always a fun time!) and friendly associates, too!!

It is a store that is kept very clean all the time, the staff is nice and you can usually find everything you are looking for.

Last winter, I had purchased 3 x 92 oz bottles of Tide, but missed to notice that they weren't -he-, the high efficiency type, which is what I need for our washer. Once I noticed that I bought the wrong kind of Tide, I had already thrown away the receipt.
Then came the pandemic and nobody would accept any returns.
Today, I went to the customer service desk at Target in Alameda and a very friendly lady named Peggy and her manager Nicole helped me with the return. It was complicated, as they were not able to find two of the items any longer in the system.
They asked for my ID and my card. I told them that I always pay cash, after my Visa card was once been compromised at Target.
They did not give up on me, but with grace and perseverance admitted the refund in form of store credit. I'm so thankful to them, for their outstanding customer service!!! I'm very happy and will be back many times!
