Best coffee in Alameda for sure! Been coming here for years for the Raspberry White Chocolate Mocha! They also have delicious and freshly made sandwiches! Love walking around the market to pick up a few things after a quick coffee and snack break!

My first time at Beanery of Alameda. Enjoyed a ham and cheese croissant with a caramel frappe! The food was beyond delicious and the frappe was so smooth👏🏼 Last but definitely not least, kuddos to the hospitality. It was so warm and inviting. I can’t wait to visit again all the way from FL.

Well organized cafe in Alameda. Their coffee beans are one of the best in Alameda Island. They made good cappuccino, good ham, and brie cheese on baguette, turkey, and avocado on panini bread with spring lettuce and bean sprouts...

The Beanery is a local cafe with really delicious coffee drinks. It's got good coffee for people who love coffee, but also the sugar-laden stuff for people who normally drink Starbucks. They have some great unusual flavors, like German chocolate and gingerbread lattes. I haven't had their food, but the coffee is great.

Tasty matcha lattes, had hot one day and returned the next for iced!

I’m just so incredibly picky when it comes to breakfast sandwiches that I don’t order them. I really needed something savory this morning so I decided to try the the breakfast panini with ham & spinach. All things I would never order. It’s my favorite sandwich I’ve had. The coffee is delicious & the scones are fresh. I usually buy extra to share with others.

For a coffee shop inside a grocery store I encountered exceptional customer service. The employees were all friendly and kind enough to take my admittedly overly complicated order with a great attitude. They even gave me a complimentary iced coffee to go with my large order when checking out. I would absolutely return to this place. Five star experience.

Fantastic coffee. Has the best mocha on the ENTIRE ISLAND. I get one whenever I can--- I like the Aztec chocolate with coconut milk (THANK YOU for having coconut milk!!!!) and my hubby LOVES the classic mocha with dairy. Friendly service and nice menu variety. Takes a few minutes, but worth the wait.

I wish I had discovered this place earlier when I was in Oakland for a month back in August! I was hooked when I got the Iced Vietnamese. Prior to frequenting this coffee shop, I usually got coffee from starbucks at my hotel but the price difference, quality, atmosphere, and friendly baristas at Beanery were what made me drive out of my way in the mornings to get coffee.

Love this place. It's became my new coffee stop in the morning before work. It does get very crowded. And the crowd in there is definitely different from a normal coffee shop. But they make a great latte and have good pre made sandwiches for me to grab and go.

So easy for a quick stop! The food and coffee is perfect. People there are always nice and the service is very fast too. I will be dreaming of the food from here until the next time I can visit lol

Love the drinks and the staff. Great place to meet up at or plug in for a bit when working from home. A little frustrating during pandemic that, during the weekend morning there are always the same 10+ patrons outside not observing social distancing or mask usage and blocking the sidewalk. I wonder if part of the parking lot can be made into an outdoor dining area for guests.

A great coffee shop, good brew and quick service. It's attached to the grocery store, but it opens earlier, and you can get in through the side entrance. Their coffee and espresso drinks are very good, the only downside is their pastries and baked goods are just OK. However, there is a bakery at the back of the grocery store that has excellent pastries; unfortunately the grocery store doesn't open til 8am. I wish Beanery could work out a deal to get pastries from that bakery, but I'm sure they've tried and there is some complication preventing it.

For coffee however, it's definitely the best place I've found in Alameda.

Went their initially for just one coffee and ended up buying two coffees and a whole bunch of croissants and sandwiches to bring back home with us.

Food selection: tea, coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and other little bites

Tip: If you go after 3pm, they sell their croissants for $2 each and sandwiches for only $3! Such a great deal.

I love this place and excited to see them expanding inside the marketplace.

I enjoy the Thai Ice Tea and Chicken Combo plate. The hummus is amazing. Sometimes I order a small tub of it.

In the morning I enjoy a white mocha and the veggie bagel sandwhich.

A must try in the market! Sit outside and enioy Park street traffic.

Coffee and food is always amazing, I actually placed an online order and they personally called me to ask if I would like a substitution, I do not know what her name was but she was extremely kind and gave great service!! As always highly recommend this place!
