A lot of stores and restaurants near by… WELLS FARGO BANK AND CHASE BANK, BANK OF AMERICA FRONT OF THE SAFEWAY PARKING LOTS 🅿….. GREAT PLACE TO VISIT YOU CAN FIND ANYTHING YOU WANT NEAR BY…..

Produce is fresh, they have two self-checkout areas. Customer service is great. Good deals with the Safeway card. Good sales too.

Is a really big safe way really nice personal and very hard workers . I think is one of the best safeway i been to and is close to the beach as well .
Oh i forgot it has a Starbucks !!!

This store is an anchor store in a very popular shopping block. Huge store with extra shopping options and services. It also has a gas station near the parking lot.

A nice place to shop and pleasant staff, convenient and safe. Its not the cheapest place but has a wide variety of lines that the store carries.

I love Safeway because they're the only store in the valley who still carry salmon steak!! I love salmon but prefer to buy salmon steak.

Besides fresh seafood my only question is why doesn't this location carry dragon fruit? I was surprised the Safeway in Alameda carry dragon fruit and the Manteca location doesn't.

I've found a weird thing today which I've never seen before, when a cart blocks before exiting the store, I didn't see any help available.

One more thing is when Doordash assigns pick up the order in Safeway and this order contains alcohol but customer who placed the order was unavailable. So I called Doordash and they confirmed return, but when I came to Safeway, ask for store associate they didn't call store associate and started saying we are not taking back alcoholic beverages. It was really hard to resolve this issue. The interesting thing is that when I previously return the order with alcohol it was no problem.

I love Safeway, the best grocery store in the Bay. I usually go to the one in Alameda. It's 24hr, on a good day. Closes at midnight, on a bad day. Been going since I was a kid, my grandmother before me. Safest way, is Safeway!!

Well this Safeway is getting five stars because they're open 24 hours I like Safeway I feel a Tad pricey but at least they've been consistent. hey they have what we need so it's our choice to go there or not and I seem to go more often than not..

Had to use ladies room an the person wasn't answering. I went to security and she got them out. She was so nice. Other than that I will return...

Parking lot is mad busy but this store does well with the drive up and go. Dude that brought out groceries was nice and helpful all while answering the safeway drive up and go mobile and making a mental list of names. Quiet talented, especially with the multitasking and he had fabulous hair.

I love Safeway. I caught a sale on a 3 pack bone in NY steaks..normally $50+ dollars..I bought them for under $25. I bought 2 packs, brought them home,put them in freezer ziplocs.Lol,now we have steak for the month.

We dropped into South Shore Alameda Safeway last night. I got 2 lbs of cheese for my soon expiring rewards, because I did not need gasoline then.
