Coral Reef Inn & Suites

OMG! What a wonderful Little gem of a walking distance to Alameda Beach. The swimming pool is cold as Dickens and still it warms up from natural sunlight it seems. Restaurant super close by super nice area. Give it a 2-3cleanliness but that's mostly the carpets in the hallway need some good resolve carpet cleaner and a carpet protectant. The floors need little bit more. Throw some mop & Glow wax on the linoleum. And shine up the counters. There's a central sharing room for silverware plates pots and pans coffee makers, which came in handy since my unit had kitchenette.
It was really a 2-3 star, but I give it a 5star cause it is Such a homey and comfy a place.. And that starts with the staff at both the front desk who were SUPER NICE and the house keeping SUPER NICE. The people staying there were all nice . Continental breakfast good YOGERTS cereal , my fav put granola on the YOGERTS, toast, milk oj coffee sweet rolls. If ya want to dine there's all of Alameda or the usual franchises at the mall walking distance. Cable kept buffing and going off. But overall it always came back on. Most enjoyable was the ALAMEDA BEACH OMG ...Priceless!!!!!

We've been coming here for many years now my husband works in Alameda and usually this is where we stay it's a little bit older place the only problem I have here is the reception is really bad here for phones as well internet. Honestly we have stayed in other hotels, and by far i love this one the best. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms we have stayed in are more like a one bedroom apartment. we have been here this trip for almost 3 months, getting ready to be going home. This is like our 2nd home, grateful we have been here, going to miss it when we do go home.

Nice place to stay for early flight out of Oakland airport.

I loved that the hotel was right by the ocean. However, it was not particularly the cleanest hotel I've been too. The room was a bit old and not that spacious. The included breakfast didn't include any eggs or sausage. Room service was ok. Overall I'm satisfied with my stay, but I think we could've gotten better deals somewhere else.

Very accommodating. Both of the front desk girls were super nice and helpful. The maintenance man was very nice also. Only thing bad was the pool was not open but should be open soon. Very good location was able to walk to the beach and the mall across the street .

Nice hotel with friendly & helpful staff.
Rooms are large, neat, and clean. Some rooms have full kitchens. It is older, but is kept up. Small lake behind that some rooms have a private view of. Nice pool. Plenty of free parking.
Shopping plaza across the street & another just a block away. Area feels safe. Great prices. Really enjoyed my stay here.

I actually really enjoy my stays here. The rooms are a little dated but there are so many nice perks with the kitchenettes. The hotel even provides cookware. Very convenient location within walking distance to the shops and the marina!

Rooms are like apartments.Very nice and safe I enjoyed my stay with nearby walk in distance Walgreens and Safeway

Great views from large balcony, Large suite, more like a nice 1 bedroom apartment, felt very much at home, very comfortable and the price is very right! livingroom furniture a little dated but still very comfy, I will definitley be back next time i am in the area, thanks Coral Reef.

Easy going night employees who are more than happy to check you in late night. Have been known to occasionally upgrade into a suite if it’s a slow night at no additional cost. Catch them in a good mood and your golden.
The house keeping could definetly step up their game, but for the price I would clean the room my damn self!

Great location. Walking distance to the beach and to restaurants and stores. The room was clean and we had a back patio tho the pond. The room had a kitchen! The service was quick when we asked for towels.

Had a queen suite overlooking the lagoon. Great and clean room. Eric checked us in the night we arrived and worked most nights we were there. He was a great help the entire time. He helped us find a parking spot one night when everything was packed and helped us find local places to eat. Great customer service and a great attitude. Will return here for future vacations.

Good value for the price relative to the other options. The suites are basic, and the service is pretty much nonexistent, but if you're looking for a reasonable place to stay that is on the island, this is a pretty decent option. Some of the units have kitchens.

Definitely an older establishment but great value for the location. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Enjoyed my donut and coffee for breakfast too! I would stay here again if I go to another Warriors game or otherwise visit the area.

Clean rooms. Spacious with kitchenettes. Close to beach and mall. Polite service. Adequate parking. It's difficult to find a decent room around the area, this one is one of the best for the price.

Located on alameda island. Right across the street from as shipping center and just down the street front the water. The rooms are nice suites and they have complementary breakfast. Every time I go to San Fransisco I stay at Coral reef inn

I loved staying here with my fiancé. The room was perfect, clean and very comfortable. I thought the room was beautiful. We stayed in the executive suite. We will be coming back

I needed a place to stay when I missed my plane flight and coming here is the best part of a problematical business trip and this is a nice quiet hotel. It is very close to stores and restaurants, and other businesses, so you can take a short walk to run errands.

We not only got married there in the conference room but we have spent a few nights here and there just for the pool or vacay. Big rooms. Patios must on the water. Little kitchens and hella closet space.
