South Shore Center

I love coming to this great shopping Center in Alameda. The shops are great from restaurants, grocery stores, clothing stores, household needs, childrens playground, laundry Service, alterations Service, Nail Salon, Banks, gasoline Service station, and more, everything in one shopping place with ample parking lots for visitors.
It is walkable to Shoreline Drive, so you can park your car and have a stroll along the waters of Alameda and have a scenic view of the Bay before you do your shopping at this Shopping Center. The US Post is also around the corner. There’s food trucks on Saturdays as well. It’s worth it all to come here!

I love South Shore Center. Nice and clean. I feel safe plenty of parking nice people all the way around.

Large amount of businesses located in two row of building with walking area between buildings. Lots of benches where you can sit down and relax or eat your food but many restaurants and cafeteria have their own sitting outside.
Safeway, Traders Joe, Kohls, TJ.Maxx, Ross, Old Navy, ULTA, Petco, Walgreens. Panera bread, Starbucks, Asian, Mexican and American restaurants, juicing, healthy food. Thi Tea. Burger King, McDonalds, 5 Guys. Japanese merchant store Daisy. Great Clips, Nail salon, European wax, Art Gallery, children playground, car wash, hardware store and much more. People come daily for dining and shopping. Very nice shopping center. Enjoy daily. Also many spaces are still waiting their businesses. Lots of fun, very unique and make you want come back.

I LOVE this center... There's so many shops and options and they celebrate all the seasons and decorate everything really nice... Great security also and walking distance to the beach!!!

Good variety of stores here. They also have an EV charging station.

I like shopping here because it's very convenient for me. It's a small mall, yet it has most things you're looking for without having to drive to a bigger mall. It is kid friendly and offers a small play area for toddlers. They have Old Navy, Kohl's, TJ Maxx, and Ross. There's a Starbucks and Bagel Cafe. They have an Ulta store, Petco, Color Me Mine, Loard's ice cream, See's candy, and Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard. There's a Safeway and Trader Joe's, McDonald's, and Burger King. Sometimes, they have events for the kids, depending on the holiday. It's nice to have a place to go to.

We had a ball I always have a ball when I go over there You go for one thing then you end up doing two or three other things even more! I enjoy the live entertainment because I personally know the musicians and the actual entertainers They're always spot on!

I can get all my shopping needs completed in one place. Including pet supplies fom Petco and sports items from Big 5 and groceries at Trader Joe's and Safeway's. Also love getting our fishing gear at West Marine. I love this place. We did see guys in hoodies and full face mask in a black F150 truck trying to target shoppers in the trader joe and safeways parking area. We contacted apd but they acted like I was a nuisance. They say if you see something then say something but they really don't mean it.

I always enjoy going to South Shore. The many different stores and food places.

South Shore Center is both a unique and a great shopping center because it is situated by the beach. It's also close to a big Sushi Restaurant, a Post Office, a Bowling Alley, a walking distance from a small movie theater, and not too far from the Oakland International Airport - probably a 5-minute drive... The shoppers here are also great shoppers because I've seen less Police activity here... The Center also looks like it's relatively new. But it's probably well maintained that's why it looks like new.

Recycling is back at South Shore! The recycling center, Jado Recycling is behind Ross. They pay cash on the spot for your soda cans, glass beer bottles and plastic water bottles.

Great outdoor mall right across the street from the beach!

Great mall, decent selection of choice in terms of food courts and clothing stalls/stores. Not too many people but I guess I came in the wrong day or something. I was there yesterday and went shopping for beach clothing yet was surprised at the quietness of the mall itself during early morning hours. Oh well, it's the same elsewhere as malls only attract people during certain times and days.

Wow sure has grown since I went bowling as a his senior all night. Mall looks great. Trader Joes has a weird entrance, unidentified, no sign on door. Mall full of trees, areas to sit. Made me smile,enjoy sunshine. Parking great accessible. Going back in a few weeks, looking forward. Wish Hayward had this comfortable area.

I really like this shopping center. Its like a one stop shop for me because there are two grocery stores, a 24 hour walgreens, many restaurants, a gas station, and one of my favorite stores which is ulta beauty! I love that the parking lot is huge and it is a really beautiful and quiet area.

Great place to shop. There is a ice skating rink here during the winter holiday, also food trucks come most weekends, but I highly advise against using the car wash place that is here. If you are like me and you play close attention to the condition of your car, you will notice after you leave this car wash your car will be scratched up and the wax leaves streaks. Definitely come here to eat and Shop but not wash your car

It's laid back... People are mellow. Great bike or walk or even bus if you like.

Safeway and Trader Joe's tend to be very crowded so you have to kind of figure out what works best for you and leverage your time wisely parking can also be a bit of a chore but again if you bike or walk you don't have to sweat it make sure you try out the new Korean place it's fantastic

A nice mall. Not a huge selection but has various food and clothes stores. The Korean bbq place is good. There is a trader Joe's and a Safeway. They also have a play area that my son likes to play on. The parking is massive here. Right across from the beach. They also do food trucks, off the grid, in the summer and have ice skating in the winter. We go here quite a bit for sure.
