Martinizing Dry Cleaners

I am writing this review specifically for the seamstress, Veronica. She is the in house tailor and let me tell you, she does FINE WORK! She listens, is careful, understands, and gives great tips and recommendations on what will look best. I once needed my pants taken in from losing weight and she just made magic happen. I didn’t have to say a peep. She has done probably 20 items for me over the last few years and I only trust her with my stuff!
Sadly I am relocating next month and will make sure I come back to see that she caters to all my tailoring needs in the future! Even if it means an airplane ride! Not only does she do great work, her demeanor is one that is hard to find in the Bay Area. She has become part of my week as well as the rest of the team at Martinizing.
The team at Martinizing Alameda is always friendly and helpful when I come in. They are often very busy and still find a way to remember me and my account without me saying anything.
It’s the little things that Veronica and the employees at this location do that make all the difference. I am thankful I’ve found them and if you need work done look no further!

My very first experience was calling to see if they could clean an oversized comforter and yes was the answer ! I thought maybe they have a tailor or seamstress there but I didn’t ask. We arrived and were welcomed as new customers very warmly. And they also have a beautiful seamstress there so I was able to try on my various slacks and top and she pinned them to the proper length. I got one pair back and they were just right ! It’s funny because Jehovah’s Witnesses have adjusted the dress code for meeting attendance and now women can wear appropriate types of slacks and pants , still dressy of course ! And being 5’ 4”, I had to get all the pants I found hemmed up . So I am excited to get my other 3 pair soon ! Very highly recommended !!

First time here at Martinizing Dry Cleaners and definitely won't be the last. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable in any questions I had, and at an amazing price. Brought in my valuable coat and it came back impeccable. Would trust them with any dry cleaning or services.

Wow, talk about customer service! Very shocked to see so many mixed reviews. I submitted an online inquiry late on a Sunday night. Didn't hear anything for a few days and received both a personal email apologizing for the oversight 🥹 - which was completely unnecessary in itself - and a 100% free first order. Um...unheard of. The order was for 3 couches worth of cushion covers, a few pillow covers, and 3 smaller couch cushions whose covers required being removed and sewn back on. All were velvet or linen (not a light order). I organized the service for my boss who is in the midst of a move and wanted clean furniture in the new house. Martinizing scored me MAJOR points with her and gained customers for life! Everything was cleaned and fixed perfectly, the team was very communicative and easy to talk to, the entire service was quick, efficient, and exactly as promised. I'm thoroughly impressed with Martinizing Dry Cleaners all around! Thank you again! :)

Fantastic and speedy service. Dropped off two down comforters Monday morning, was told it will be ready by Thursday 4pm. I received a text message by 5pm that Monday the comforters were ready! So fast! Fair pricing too.

Martinizing Dry Cleaners is a well run, high quality, low cost solution for Drycleaning.
We have the delivery service, so they pick up and drop off twice a week.
On two occasions, I was in a jam and the supervisor, Bob, saved the day by going above and beyond to help us. Not just for dry cleaning, but alterations as well.
I would recommend them to anyone who has drycleaning needs, especially if you are making the trip once a month to drop off and pick up.

I searched for a good dry cleaner before landing on Martinizing as the best option. Service is friendly and personal like a small shop. You get the big shop efficiency and reliability too. I’ve had clothes mended, suits and jackets cleaned, and tough stains worked on. The result is always consistent, good quality, and any exceptions well communicated

I brought in 2 formal dresses and a baptismal (white) baby gown for cleaning & I was impressed by the results. They were able to get the stains out, including dried/yellow drool on the baby gown and a food stain on one dress. Everything looked great! I also used the seamstress/tailor service to fix a broken zipper on my daughter’s winter jacket. The seamstress tried to find a match for the purple zipper but couldn’t. Instead she showed me several other options including a grey one that matched perfectly with the inside liner. I was very happy with their service.

I was quite impressed with the service at Martinizing Dry Cleaners. My item was not ready as promised, twice. When I was finally able to pick it up, it was wrapped beautifully, at no charge, and the cleaning service was complimentary. I was not expecting anything for my inconvenience, so this was totally an impressive surprise. They will be getting a lot more of my business, and recommendations. Thank you Martinizing!!

I’m new to the area and I needed a fast dry clean for the Christmas party. First dry cleaner I called didn’t answer the phone, second cleaner said they won’t do one day cleanings.
