Chase Ace Hardware Garden & Gift Emporium

Chase Ace's nursery has a great selection of plants in their garden center- in fact they had the exact ones that we were looking for! The staff is very helpful and friendly and new exactly where everything was in the store and outside. Also, I sent a client in after my visit to pick up some plants that I had "scoped out" earlier and Sandra (Sondra?) In the garden center was awesome enough to remember the conversation that it had with her earlier in the day regarding specific plants needed for the client's yard. This made everything so much easier for my client, since she didn't have to repeat her needs and search for everything on her own. That's great customer service! Thanks !

The expert employees are what make this place great. Whenever I need help on a home project or have questions that can’t be easily answered online, Chase Ace is always my first stop. Their staff is filled with contractors, industry professionals, and DIY-ers with decades of real-world experience. Prices are on the higher side, but not exorbitantly so.

I'm a long time resident of the West End (over 30 years). It's a 3 minute walk, so I'm in the ACE often. It's a smallish location, but it is expertly stocked with essentials in the nursery and hardware, and one of the nicest housewares/gift shops in Marin. Much thought has gone into stocking the store with great product. But the real standout at this location is the staff, whom I always find super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It's not a fluke encounter, either. It has been consistent since they opened. Well Done!

Under new Management I'm guessing. Super cute Gift Shop! Great/"Rarer" varieties of indoor plants. Selection priced on the higher side, but all of the plants look healthy and well cared for.

Really surprised at their selection and how healthy the plants are. Prices are pretty reasonable too and the staff is friendly. They are open till 7:00 p.m. which gives people who work a little bit more time versus the other nurseries in town.

Great selection of terra cotta planters and other pots. I bought 3 heart shaped terra cotta planters and two green planters. They have a revolving number of healthy succulents. Friendly helpful staff.

This Ace Hardware is beyond any Ace I have ever known. They have everything and their decor and gifts area is very well curated. I tell people if they ever need to get me a gift to just go there. They have a great supply of garlands and holiday decor as well.

The BEST!!! Lovely, friendly staff and the best garden center & hardware store. They also have an excellent, curated gift selection. I know I can always go there and find just the perfect gift for anyone on my list.

This is a great hardware store. I've done quite a few projects where I've needed specialized items and they had every one of them. What's also great is that the folks really know what they're doing and give great suggestions as well. And they help you as soon as you walk in the door. Highly recommended.

Extraordinary customer service; we asked after citrus and were guided to the location, then provided with detailed info about the plants, planting and care. Well-tended inventory at competitive prices.

I always love supporting a local business. Not only is it better for overall public value, but the people working here know what the heck they are talking about. I love this 1 + year Ace and flower showplace. They are so nice!!!! Knowledgeable!!!!!! Friendly and helpful!!!! Everyone wears an ear piece and help comes you you immediately. Patronize this new business. It's a Jewel.

Very convenient location. I was really disappointed when they closed down yardbirds. This place is the right streamlined size. It doesn't eliminate the need to go to home depot but it eliminates 80℅ of my trips.

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Plants not treated with bee-harmful chemicals. They have most everything you need- tools, key making, gift shop.

I live 1/2 mile from Ace in Fairfax yet drive here for the nicer people and amazing use of space in this store! Its an inspiration for my over cluttered mess-of-a garage Way to go Chase!!

Ace is easier to navigate than Home Depot and the customer service is incredibly superior. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

It's extremely impressive how much hardware they fit into this small store. It's nice to have a local hardware store again in the neighborhood. So much better than going all the way out to the big box hardware store.
