This has been my favorite Shoe Store for many years, the quality of the shoes I get are very well hand-made, my SAS sneakers will last up to 2-years, then it's time to get a new pair. The leather shoes will last even longer! The shoes I get are so snug and comfortable from the first day. The BEST experience buying shoes EVER !
I have large wide feet, so buying shoes is always a challenge. Usually I have to go to several stores to find a shoe that fits me. Within a couple minutes I was fitted and amazed with a shoe that was my correct size and shape, and also looks great.

Incredible service and selection of comfortable shoes! Machaela was very patient and helpful. I’m an old guy who has bad feet from practicing karate kicks as a teenager. She listened to a description of my foot problems and brought out a bunch of different shoes for me to try. She asked for my thoughts on each pair that I tried on and then she brought out other shoes that might feel better. She graciously offered to order a few more shoes in different sizes to ensure that I would be delighted with the comfort of my ultimate shoes. This was above and beyond normal shoe sales! I recently tried on the shoes that were ordered and I wound up with the perfect pair of shoes. You just don’t find this excellence in customer service in other places.

Great selection & knowledge staff! My mother lost everything in the lilac fire & urgently needed shoes. Gary was fantastic & patiently brought out many pairs for mom to try. She originally purchased a half size up from what he recommended, then decided the smaller size was better. When we returned 2 days later Rachel took care of our exchange & stretched the new pair to fit perfectly. They have great styles for a wide range of ages (not just geriatric shoes!) & excellent customer service. Highly recommended!

The great service took me back to my youth before self serve shoe stores, before we were expected to fit our wide feet into the one size fits all shoes of today. with the great service provided by Gary, I found two pair of shoes that fit like a glove.

I can't remember the name of the woman that helped me, but she was awesome. She took the time to find me the right shoe which took quite a while. I left where the pair of shoes that won't hurt my feet and that I love. I'll definitely be returning to buy more. I hope she gets a raise cuz she deserves it!

I'm an active 70yr old gal who needed some dancing shoes for a cruise and some work day shoes, w both types of shoes needing to accommodate my extra wide feet with bunions and hammer toes. No tall feat for a salesperson to work with!!! Nevertheless, Gary pulled the challenge off wonderfully, with grace, gentlemanly patience, and sensitivity. Yes, the shoes are costly, but w built in orthodic support, extra supports included w one of the pair, leather, and U.S. made w tip top craftsmanship. Jerry, the owner, gave my husband excellent service. He knows his shoes and feet. He understands which shoes are best for your feet needs, extremely knowledgable, detailed, and a nice guy.

This is my go to place for my nonslip shoes, given that my feet are 10 1/2 6E width. Gary, The shop keep, it’s very informative, very friendly, very professional yet comforting and befriending. If you have massive feet, like I do, it is worth the trip to find this shop.

I called ahead and asked if they had dress work shoes and I’m glad I called them. Upon arriving Machaela helped me by measuring my feet, figuring out what kind of insoles I needed by having me go on foot pressure sensors and finally helping me find the best shoe and insole combo for my feet. 5/5 Thank you Machaela!

I went to a mom and pop (Gino's Wide shoe & shoe repair) in Grossmont Center mall with an inventory of about 15 different pairs of shoes. Too small. The place smelled really funky. Not! The sort of environment one would want to take their time shopping in. I walked out within a minute to keep from vomitting.

I went to a Famous Footware in the same mall, they had two styles in wide sizes. Thumbs down

I went to Macy's. There one HAS to utilize a sales associate as most of what's on the sales floor is for display. This would've been fine, except there were 15 customers (myself included) and only two sales associates.

Then I discovered ( via Google) Comfort.
Lots of great brands
Vionic, Clarks, SAS, and more. Plenty of styles,available in wide sizes, to choose from.

The store isn't huge, but the selection IS. Since its best not to purchase footware online, because the experience of trying them on is so important, this is gonna be my local spot.

They lost my luggage on my trip to San Diego. Boy was I happy to find this place! An abundance of wide soled shoes at a great price!

I have purchased several pair of shoes from Comfort Wide Shoe Store. The shoes that I purchased are some of the most comfortable shoes that I have ever purchased. I am impressed with the knowledge their shoe fitting team has about the shoes they sell and their quality.

Great store I called around and Rachel answered my technical questions then and there after she took the time and trouble to fit me with 5 pairs of NB shoes of which I bought the 5th pair.... you can buy shoes elsewhere but you will never get the knowledge and 30 years experience they have. I’ll never go anywhere else
