Ok so if you want fish with your peanuts, this is the place to go!
No, it's not what I eat but if you do then you've been told where to get your fix.
But seriously this is a very diverse market. If you can get past the fishy aromas there are so many interesting Asian delights here. I love browsing at this store. Sometimes I actually buy stuff.
Go check it out.

Interesting stuff, I love shopping there, a lot of things you can't get anywhere else

Some of the staff can be a little cold & "unfriendly", but I am used to this kind of behavior. Asian culture is a little reserved & standoff-ish. I grew up around this kinda thing, its just how it is.

Do not be deterred by this!

This place is great for anything you may need in regards to asian cuisine, whether you simply want to hit up some of the in store dining options, browse their unique selection of asian produce, or find specialty ingredients for your next cooking experience.

The only downside is parking can be a hassle & the check out lines are always long.

I've been shopping here 20 years and love it just as much now as I ever have. I can spend $50 and have enough groceries to eat for 4-5 days. They have a great produce section, a huge variety of meats, and every type of noodle you could ever hope to find. The most enticing change they've made is the bakery section. So many amazing baked goods, from jiggly cheesecake to Hokkaido milk bread to bao buns. And they've mastered coffee flavor in the muffins and cupcakes... Rich and aromatic flavor without that fake chemical taste a lot of bakeries get with coffee flavors. You really can't go wrong with anybody you pick out. Plus, it's the only place I can find Four Seasons and calamansi juices! My only wish is that they'd carry the grapefruit Gokuri.

If you like Asian food, not matter your cultural background this is the place to be.

If you want to experiment with cooking with new ingredients this is the place to come and have a look.

Having lived in China for 20 years this is one of the most authentic places to find Asian goods in general but many Chinese staples. Please try all the veggies most are just stir friend with garlic, oil, salt and maybe oyster sauce.

I will start with a suggestion, Indo Mie instant noodles. Trust me when I say this, you will not go back to regular ramen. A second suggestion by Lao Gan Ma, any flavor works but i would focus on chilli oil.

If you like beer try Tsingtao it is German Chinese beer, don't ask its just good.

Special Asian Market. There is everything you may need or try to taste. Crabs, lobsters and many other live fish. Rubs and condiments. Must visit

Excellent, Asian food store with very good selection of food, vegetables and meats.

Real clean compared to other 99's I have been in. The selection was very good and fresh. Definitely would go again.

I'm a big fan of my local 99 Ranch. I go there frequently looking for some of their fresh fried fish, fresh shellfish, whole duck which I like to smoke, and abundant fresh produce.

It definitely feels like I'm on a foreign vacation here. Great place to get fresh fish,produce and other Asian foods and drinks.

If you need fresh fish go here! They have tanks with live fish, lobster, crab, king crab.

They have a ginseng store if you want traditional Chinese herbs!

This place is AMAZING had all the things I wanted to try and a ton I didnt jnow I wanted to try until I saw it. So so so much fresh seafood.

Great Asian produce. Smells a bit like most Asian produce stores. Lots of fresh meat, fish and produce plus table ware.

We like 99 Ranch for its vegetables and many oriental foods. Selections are abundant and vegetables are fresh. Of course the prices there are much more reasonable than it’s peers. We shop at the new 99 Ranch Market on a weekly basis. By the way, this store even has a better layout than many other grocery stores. We like it.

I love to get a whole jackfruit from here. The food court is also really good at this location.

A truly wonderful Asian market! The seafood section is a mixture of live (crabs, mussels etc) and whole fish. It's the best in San Diego.

The store is wide with rows of shelves filled with vast arrays of Asian groceries from Chinese to Filipino, I frequent this place for such.
