Huge store with a wide variety of boardgames and puzzles. They have a large aisle of used games and stuff which is an awesome way to spend time picking through. A large game floor for table top games with bright lights and clean floors.

This place is a local gem and was already busy the moment they opened. It's a great resource for the gaming community with a robust selection of cards and table top gaming supplies as well as RPG books. The owners were fun and knowledgeable.

Great store run by great people. I never miss a visit here when I'm in San Diego. They always have different things going on. They have tables where you can just go in and play games. You can meet up with friends and hang out and play games. They have some games available for people to play but most of these are older/less popular games...mostly people bring their own games.

There are also a lot of people working on painting their warhammer figures.

They have tons of games for sale (which you can buy and go right over to the tables and start playing). I have read reviews of people complaining about their prices...i dont feel it is fair to compare a brick and mortar stores prices to prices you can find on Amazon. Yes, you can generally find cheaper prices online...and then you have to wait for it to be shipped.

The people that own this store and the people that work here are GAMERS. They LOVE games. They can help you find games that you will enjoy if you talk to them. Sometimes, being human and all, they might be distracted or doing work related things you dont realize has their attention...but if you just say "hey, can you help me" they will be happy to.

You cant do that on Amazon...and shopping on Amazon you also wont have any chance encounters with famous gamers like Wil Wheaten...and you definitely wont meet new gamer friends shopping on Amazon.

This is a store to hang out in and have fun. Food isnt allowed, but they do sell some badic snackage and theres an Arbys nearby. They also have a bathroom available for when you are there playing games.

We were looking for a few games for Christmas presents as well as to add to our own stash and we hit the jackpot! Game Empire was a game wonderland. The staff, especially Cliff, were knowledgeable and friendly. Cliff helped us narrow down to these beauties. We will definitely be back to support this business. Great place to pick up a new (or used) board game!

They had a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. There were people drafting magic, and the shelves were stuffed with boardgames.

On vacation here in San Diego and thought I would take my family to this game store and do some looking around. I was super impressed with how much care and attention they gave my 7 yr. old daughter who is getting into the Pokemon game. They were pateint with her, answering her questions and letting her lead them all over the store asking about stuff, and finally giving her some starting Pokemon stuff. Great store. Great staff.

Small game shop with the crowd of a large gaming community. They have everything from magic to wardhammer. All the latest games you can imagine. Weather your a beginner or been playing for years. They have something for all!! Come join us on Friday nights for MTG and board games.

Wife and I were stoked to find this place. Games are in alphabetical order which is super helpful. Prices aren't too bad.
My only complaint is the hours were way wrong and when we got there instead of having hours to browse and buy we had minutes.

Great store. Tables, mats, and terrain in the back to play all kinds of tabletop games too. Good community feel and runs a discord too.

I'm visiting the area from Seattle and was hoping for a good local game store to check out and this is definitely the one! Awesome selection of new games and huge selection of older games that have been discounted. Very helpful staff.
I purchased a set of double 9 domino's and unfortunately got a repeat. Luckily the store was very understanding and allowed me to exchange with receipt in hand, even had me check the new one in store to make sure it was correct. Absolutely recommend this store to everyone!

A lot of stuff for board games, one of the best place if you are fan of D&D or Warhammer 40K.

Ive been coming here for over a year now! They take great care of me and my nephews. Shawna always has a smile and works with us on trade ins and cards we are on the lookout for. They always have a nice selection of raw pokemon cards. Would recommend giving them a visit!

This is not a video game store, it's better. Game Empire sells board games, card games, and role playing games in the full range of the greatest classics and latest greats. The staff there can help you find something if you don't know what you're looking for. While you are there, be sure to check out the owner's collection of painted minis. Go to this place to bring home a game to enjoy some face-to-face human interaction or a hobby that doesn't include electronics. Also, check in with the team to join one of the game nights for a game you enjoy.

Woah what a nice place and very respectful owners shawna and Cliff are the best was our first time there to sell mtg cards And didn’t know a lot about them and let me tell you these people are the best they gave me the best experience ever and would definitely recommend to SELL TO THEM!!! I will definitely be back to sell them more! Also they have a great selection of board games and cards!

I love coming here to buy more dice each time to satisfy my dice collecting addiction! They have such a great selection of dice and are very helpful people. I also love how organized their store is and just how much Dungeons and Dragons items they have to offer. Great place! Thank you guys for all of your hard work to make everything amazing for us.
