Habitat for Humanity ReStore - Urbandale

It’s a place that has good stuff and overnight people buy that good furniture. If you’re a hobbyist/DIYer instead of meaningless hassle elsewhere. Go buy bargain building material like plywood, 2”4” and make yourself some end table. I’m doing myself bad, by sharing amazing location cuz more people gonna see it now. Overall good place, sincere and helpful staff.

Stopped by to make a donation and figured that we would do some shopping while we were here. Found some stuff that we wanted and the price was pretty good. Always like coming here to help support the community and get stuff that we need.

It's like if Good Will and Home Depot had a baby. Like, your friend's dad is super handy and just has one of everything in his big garage. This store is that dad's dream garage.

I called the Restore to donate both hand and power tools. Two very polite young men came and collected everything. It was quick and easy and now those tools can be used to better the lives of people less fortunate...I encourage everyone to donate!

Nice ReStore. I've been to a few and this one seems to have the most fair prices on what I'm looking at. Friendly fella really wanted to sell us a washer/dryer combo, if we needed it I would've considered.

I'm not sure I've ever been to a ReStore that has been so well organized most items were marked and fairly easy to get to. The store was clean and they had nice restrooms. And they're not far from the interstate.

We’ve been visiting the Urbandale Restore since we moved here in 2018 and have always had a good experience. This week we had an experience that far exceeded our expectations: recently we purchased some flooring and found the product was warped and wouldn’t lay flat. We worked with Shaun in flooring who immediately owned the situation and offered us a no hassle resolution - we highly recommend doing business here! There’s great deals on new or slightly used product, you pay no sales tax and the staff provides excellent customer service!

Always worth going to. They may not have what I need, but I can usually find something useful.

This is a great non profit company. You can donate almost any household project material whether new or taken from a tear out and they will resell them. They use earnings from these sales to help families who are underprivileged get brand new houses. The community ralies for these families and gives a helping hand with labor. I highly recommend HFH is you need to donate items or if you're looking for items.

They have so many house hold appliances and project materials. I was very surprised with the amount, quality, and price of items they have available.

I purchased a new fridge that was sent to them as an overstock. It was several hundreds of dollars less than the sticker price.

The people there are very friendly and helpful. I will certainly shop there again.

I’ve made quite a few improvements to my house at much lower costs due to this store. I always check here before going to one of the big box stores because I know I’ll save a heap of money, AND It’s a bit more sustainable.
The store is laid out well, easy to see what they have and the employees are always pleasant.

Stopped in based on reviews and recommendations. The staff was so helpful. Sean in the flooring area was both professional and personable. Just had a nice feeling knowing the mission of this store and could tell the staff all worked well together. Bought a flooring sample and will be back to buy!!

This place is a great place to find deals at. It's similar to a good will but for furniture. They have many different things. When I visited they had a ton of light and rug options. We bought two rugs from here and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I love the rugs we bought. Super cute and will fit nicely in our new basement.

Workers are very courteous and willing to help. I had duplicate items with different pricing, no issues obtaining the lower price for me. Additionally, I made a prior purchase and got home and saw that it wouldn't work. Lost the receipt and was able to exchange for the right item!!! Also make sure you set aside some time for shopping because a 5 min trip will turn into a hour with the selection of goods they have!!!

The store is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. It offers a wide range of merchandise, surpassing the variety found at other locations.

This is such a great place to go to save on the items you might otherwise pay retail for at a big box store. I have a number of items I check there for every few months. I would probably have better luck get thing I want if I were more diligent in checking it out weekly. They have done a nice expansion and added a section of some regular stocked cabinets. That certainly appear to be quality built. Looking forward to getting some on our next project.

The people where so helpful and willing to help me locate what I was looking for. I enjoy looking for my home improvement projects there. The prices are good and they will load also. This is one of my favorite places to shop..
