This place is awesome! If you like comics, games, collectibles, or anything remotely related to these things, you owe it to yourself to check this place out! Huge variety of classic, collectible, and current comics. Great selection of games, including a whole section of the store dedicated to role-playing add-ons.

Additionally, just great service! Even though, they don't advertise shipping service, they didn't hesitate to help me out when I said I am in town for work and wanted to ship the games home. If I lived in this area, Mayhem would be my second home.

Always a home away from home. Great selection, HUGE selection of about anything nerd you can hope for. Great location, super great help, incredible community. All are welcome. Highly recommend Mayhem if you're in the area or just passing by. Something for everyone!

I travel all over for work and always love stopping at local game stores. This one immediately rose to the top tier. Amazing collection of comics, games, Magic and Pokémon, and miniatures. I walked away with some mtg accessories, singles, a few packs, and some trades. I was feeling particularly awkward and the person at check out was super patient and helpful!

One of the last "true" comic book stores. The staff here is AMAZING and extremely passionate. They appear to do their best to sell hot ticket items at retail and have the best call list program in the state, in my opinion.

Has become my go to for everything tabletop. I don't mind paying full price versus Jay's when the store is much friendlier cleaner. Has a fantastic game room and even though I don't do comics their selection looks top notch

Great store for comics, collectibles, cards, figures... Pretty much all the fun stuff! The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and the general atmosphere is friendly.

Nice place..large game room. Lots of stuff to see. Three bathrooms. I one o choose was very clean. My son said the "superman " bathroom wasn't. I didn't check out.

Fantastic offering of tabletop, collectible card and gateway games as well as comics and collectible figurines and also offers an adjoining game room. Staff was friendly and I like that they emphasized a family friendly environment. We visited from out of town and I'd be happy to have this store closer as I'd definitely be a repeat customer!

Simply the best game store ever. Free games to try, competitive prices, awesome staff, and geeks and nerds all over from Furry to Whovians! Sometimes I go here literally just to be around folks who understand the finer cultures ^^

This calling shop is very well organized it is super easy to find the things that I’m looking for. If I can’t find what I’m looking for the staff are very friendly and eager to help me find what I’m looking for. They have events going on almost every night it seems. If you are new to the area and looking to make friends this would probably be the place.

Definitely my favorite place to get board games❤💜, I live almost two hours away and it's worth it every time. Friendly staff, great prices, and a welcoming atmosphere ❤

This place is absolutely amazing and astounding! This is how a comic book and card should be! So much selection and choices here it's unreal!!! Building here is so big with a separate game room so it isn't taking room up in the store!!! The employees are very knowledgeable and could answer anything we asked about if they didn't have it they said they could order it! We said we lived out of town they said they would ship it to us if need be! Prices are very reasonable unlike some of our places back at home! The owner and manager were so friendly and got to know us while we there and asked what we were into! Even gave my wife a discount since she bought so much for gifts for Xmas! Our boy was with us that is 20 and he loved it and loved that they had games he had been looking for! Very impressed and will make a special trip back here for sure!!!

It's always a joy to drop in and check out all the great stuff. I like to pick up comics for the kids and cards for myself. They offer a huge collection of new and rare used cards are available.

We went to get a birthday gift for the MTG player in our life, but we were blown away by the selection of all the things that were offered. Huge collection of Funkos, DND books and minis, comics, cards of all kinds, gaming accessories/storage and more.

The store is clean, well organized and the staff is friendly. We didn't check it out, but they also have a large gaming area as well for events/open play.

I went there with my kids my son got his books he’s was living in Ames but those store doesn’t have it . He’s was so happy thanks Mayhem love the store many of books 📚

Great atmosphere to walk into, really strong positive vibes. That's always a plus thing for me. Awesome staff, everyone I talked was very friendly and welcoming.

The back book selection of the store is a place I wish I had spent more time and at least taken a sweet book home for my 8 year old.
The comics for grown up Millenials were awesome. Truly graphic artists making their names heard.
And for my Dungeons and Dragons aged father... he will always game. The wishlist he has here is grand and I was so pleased to see him all gitty again like a child.
Thanks for making Iowa This much cooler on my book. I will be back!
