Hy-Vee Grocery Store

This Hy-Vee is a great grocery store because it wins against all of the odds thrown at it. It's location is on a busy street/business intersection due to Windsor Heights & Clive not having a good traffic budget or planning. Parking is easy and quick - very fluid. Inside the store, amazingly clean and well stocked. The employees are absolutely wonderful; helpful, smiling, and they go out of their way to help you...every employee I see is always busy, which is refreshing.
I live in Phoenix, AZ and visit family quite a few times a year in the Windsor Heights area. This grocery store is refreshing compared to the Fry's Grocery stores in Phoenix; great employees, service, well stocked, and easy to shop.
I joined the Perks program, best grocery shopping move ever! I can order from Phoenix delivery for my elderly relatives in Windsor Heights and know that from this store they will receive quality produce and goods. Also if a product is out, they text me with replacement options - excellent communication for remote orders. Delivery is also sent via text, updated and always on time.
This is a phenomenal store an I owe them a huge thank you every week!

A great store to shop. Good customer service very friendly. Everyone in the meat department is very helpful and knowledgeable. There aren't enough adjectives to describe how top notch, Dave, Val, and the rest of the pharmacy team are. They always above and beyond to help.

It's a nice clean store. It's not my favorite layout. Fruit and veggies on one end, and health section on another. Pharmacy in another corner. People with healthy or restricted diets have to go to 3 unattached areas for their food and homeopathic meds. It's a small annoyance, so no stars removed. It's also not the stores fault.

Shout out to the gentleman at customer service! There was a strange guy following me around the store while I was there and was waiting for me outside because he checked out before me. I immediately felt unsafe and asked the gentleman at customer service to walk me to my car. He took it very seriously and made me feel very safe. Unfortunately i did not catch his name but I appreciate him greatly!!

We stopped at several Hy-Vee's before finally finding the gluten free pizza crust at Windsor Heights. Elizabeth in the market grille was a lifesaver. We've just moved to West Des Moines and have been trying to find a place to shop weekly. Elizabeth has restored our faith in Hy-Vee, THANK YOU!!!

First visit to Windsor Heights Hy Vee in years since we work downtown now. Found what we were looking for. Great customer service. Tom is awesome!!

Best hyvee Chinese in the area(compared to Mills civic, the valley west location and Urbandale) and they make homemade chili crisp ! The lady working there today was great and really friendly too!

I do most of my shopping at Hy-Vee. Tuesday I had to do pop cans and the gentleman working in there was very pleasant 😊. That's nice since do the cans is not very pleasant.

Love this store! The pharmacy is amazing, the bakery makes great cakes and their Chinese lo Mein is so yummy! Great deals and it's so cool when they have special visitors like Elsa and Captain America!!

Friendly and helpful staff. There was a friendly smile in every aisle.

Had everything I needed and the restaurant had great food and really nice people

I was psyched to see the hot dog car! Pretty cool and I got a free whistle to boot! Had the donut of the month, bought a neat Halloween toy and life was good. 😛

Clean, easy to navigate and was asked by 2 different employees if I was finding what I needed.

The staff at my hyvee are extremely helpful and friendly. They take the time to take you to what you are looking for!

This was my first time in a Hy-Vee. I’d describe it as an upscale grocery store. Everything you need plus plenty of health conscious products.

With all the remodeling the employees are so helpful.

This place really has improved over the last year. It's my #1 store because my kids go to school around the corner. I even prefer to go here than the one by my house. This store seems to have a larger selection than my other store. The coffee selection is one of my favorites! I love that there's a lot of coffee beans from local roasters. The employees are also super nice. Always asking if I'm finding everything ok. Not just "hi".
