This place has such an amazing selection of imported chocolates, snacks, cheeses, meats, and... did I mention the chocolates? Yeah, they're the best. And they're not like some other 'import' stores that are national, they're privately owned and don't jack up the prices to ridiculous levels just because they can. They're kind and thoughtful about being able to provide foods that people miss from wherever they've moved from, and about introducing new and delicious foods to Americans who either have traveled and miss the foods, or haven't yet traveled but don't want to miss out on the world's variety. I love this place, and if you haven't yet been, you're missing one of the reasons Des Moines is such a wonderful place to live.

Wide variety of Russian, Ukrainian, Belorussian food and goods. Fish (herring), kefir, ряженка, borodinsky bread and many many others I'm missing...

Я сам из России, был в магазине. Так вот что я могу сказать. Очень скучаю по русской еде. К сожалению в Америке нет очень многих продуктов которые я привык есть. Однако подобного рода магазины могут напомнить мне о местах где Я вырос этой едой. Американцы могут испугаться русской пищи. Точно так же как когда я узнал что едят Американские люди. В общем магазин хороший. А то что говорят люди что мясо просрочено это вина не магазина. А самой еды. Натуральная еда не может храниться долго. По это если вы не уверены что это было привезены недавно, лучше не покупать. Мясо вы и тут можете такое найти:D

Магазин русских, белорусских, украинских и европейских продуктов. Можно найти раритет!) Пожалуй, заеду сюда ещё когда нибудь.
