I could not find what I was looking for (pineapple cheese roulade) so found two assistants filling shelves and asked them. They had not heard of it but didn't ignore me and called for another lady who knew where it was and asked me to follow her so that she could show me. So I bought two! Brilliant service

Cheaper then tesco, better quality then tesco. The Bramwells products are very very good the salad cream is just the same as more expensive heinz

Can be a bit packed, but good for a cheap shop for what you need..

Super clean and cheap. The only nag as all discount supermarkets is that there never more than 2 check out open even when busy..

I like this shop. I like that they apparently pay their staff more fairly than traditional supermarkets so that's a big plus for me.
Negative point is trolley access without a pound coin can be a bit random and it can also be busier than my usual shop.
All staff I have ever dealt with were great, really helpful.

Great prices for good quality food, have cut my weekly shopping bill massively by shopping here without reducing quality. Prices have risen sharply or packaging size substantially reduced in the past year. Still my main shop. Still best value for money.

The staff are good in here, always available to help. The place is kept tidy and clean. Definitely 5 stars.
Also they keep the shelves constantly stocked.

Went there Thursday before Christmas, the store was well stocked and bought lots of very good seafood platers, scallop and prawns terrines, beef joint and lamb leg . The meet was super tender and to my surprise, cheaper than in London .

Staff in store were friendly and helpful!

I'll definitely return to buy more food and drinks for NYE!

This is my favourite Supermarket with a solid reputation for consistently low prices across the board, with quality food and products. The range is a lot smaller than the market leaders, but do we really need half a dozen different Branson Pickles? Their stores are well maintained by the staff and I find the checkout very quick. They have an efficient system of bringing more staff to the tills when there is a brief flurry of customers wanting to checkout.
This store opened in August 2018 and re-reading this review that I wrote some 3 years ago, I maintain my high opinion of the efficient supermarket.
Revisiting this review again in May 2023, it's pretty much the same though I find it busier. I imagine that's because a lot more people are trusting the quality at a lower price in these inflationary times. On a slight downside I find their very competitive Red Label tea has sadly gone downhill to the point that I've stopped buying it in favour, unfortunately, of a brand leader, Tetley. Red Label is super dusty and ridiculously strong with an unpleasant aftertaste. And that's with a short 4 revolution gentle stir. It's a shame because their tea used to be nice, but now unacceptable.

I was very impressed with the Aldi Store very well stocked and a large areas for goods.
