Sainsbury's

I actually sat in the car with the motor running while my gf got a coat and some hot drinks. She came back with Earl Grey rather than regular tea, but feels mean to remove a star for that.

Good sized supermarket with good amount of parking yet still close to town. 2 hours free parking with option to pay to stay longer via an app.

Amazing place, a very big assortment of stuff, whatever your purpose to go to the shop is. Amazing staff and very much clean. Prices are OK but cheaper than some places like Iceland. Would recommend to go grocery shopping here.

Love the fact they carry a range of halal meat products.. chicken, beef, Minced, turkey slices and ready to cook meals.

Sainsbury's does have much going for it not least plenty of parking sadly this is often abused by those that buy a paper then wander off to shop elsewhere. I'm disabled and they do have plenty of disabled spots to park in, they also are very helpful to disabled people in the store!
There are certain items I can only find at Sainsbury's like spray starch which bizarrely is a dying range of items? There are sadly fewer and fewer real check out tills so as with other stores I have to try to unload and scan my shopping from a low angle it's amazing they don't have a lower scanner for disabled people but maybe they think we are not worth bothering with?
The team are very loyal although they do change, many of the more mature staff and brilliant but the younger ones maybe need time to assimilate to the work environment. Stacking shelves is a laborious task and I can't do it with my knackered knee! So good luck to them! It's often overrun with coach parties of European school children as it's located next to the Canterbury Coachpark, but I guess we brits do the same on a day trip to France!

I have fond memories of this store going back sometime. The only thing I don't like are these pointless barriers when you come out of self scan checkouts

I do like a Sainsbury’s every so often, was really clean, well presented, fully stocked even for this time of year

This is a Sainsbury's. It has Sainsbury's things. Recommended if you want Sainsbury's, not so much if you're looking for a different supermarket...

Very chatty staff nice to find on a busy Christmas eve

Plenty of parking, normally stocked with the products we needs.
Mainly come in here for the Gluten Free Pizza’s as they have different ones from other shops, which is perfect for my wife.

Great location by the river, good selection of goods and reasonable prices, great coffee shop and snacks.

Loving slow cooked sous vide meats

Didn't have the cleansing creams I wanted.

Lots of great ingredients for almost anything you want to cook. Friendly and helpful staff.

Always in good price. I come here every week.

Mid sized super store with all good produce and grocery shopping

Great Sainsbury’s - bit “difficult” to find as its a bit confusing if you don’t know where you are going and you can miss or take the wrong entrance. The shop itself is great though - loads of parking facilities and good COVID measures in place so you feel comfortable.

The shop itself is the typical Sainsbury’s offering the usual selection of food and non-food items.

Normally busy at the weekend, quieter during the week.
For those driving, there is a good sized car park.
There's a cafe and a riverside walk for those interested.
