B&Q Ashford

Very helpful staff at this store. The piece of plywood I bought wouldn't fit into my car, and the shop staff promptly arranged for it to be delivered to my house free of charge next working day. Top service.

One of your staff Dan (from Barbados originally) was very helpful and considerate when we were in the store recently. He was reversing a forklift but stopped in good time as my party neared. He helped us with products, which aisles to go to, and was polite, professional and engaging with my elderly mother in law.. A very pleasant man.

It gets better and better. The shop is clear and well organised. It is easy to find everything you need for your home and garden. I was surprised at the electric tools section. A tremendous improvement from what it was before. The improved layout of the shop makes your shopping experience easy and enjoyable.

While my experience with B&Q's overall phone customer service has outright disastrous. I'm glad to have had a call with the Kevin from the Ashford store, promptly dealing with my issue and rectify a problem with my order instantly. It was greatly appreciated.

Today I visited B&Q at Ashford. I went to buy a shower screen so, I rang up first, I straight away noticed that the staff member who answered the phone, had a great knowledge and understanding of measurements and stock. This person was very professional and put me at ease so I could work out there and then, what I needed to match new products with old existing. The song kayliegh was playing on the radio...merry Christmas to B&Q Ashford .

The store looks much better now after the refurbishments. Some of the products have been changed around but now they have new signage on every Isle.
The self checkouts are good, this should hopefully reduce the queues on busier days.

Bought a few packs of flooring here as my local branch did not have quite enough. The staff member I asked about the flooring was very helpful and polite and the stock was where he said and the amount he said. Still the best DIY chain but the website is terrible.

Very helpful on the paint counter. The guy mixed all the pots expertly and the colours are such a fantastic match.

Great value items picked up some 10 storage boxes the durable ones. Wish they had more of them.

A big store that caters for most things . We bought a sheet of mdf and wanted it cut into 12 strips but we’re told that due to lockdown restrictions he could only do 4 . We said that was no good to us as we needed it to make panels on the wall. He said as it was near Christmas he would honour it, A top bloke

Bought lots of half price plants today with excellent savings on bedding and hanging basket plants. Extra saving on over 60s club card too. Store has beautiful garden centre who cares for pensioners giving them more savings that encourage others to explore their products.
Wonderful staff who is always there to help and assist.

Better selection since refit, staff seem to have better customer service also than before. They use to not give a toss, now they engage with the customers in conversation relating to the product including advice on how to use it. Can now recommend this store

I use B&Q alot for buying plants. I recently bought a rather large Olive Tree, must of been 5ft high and only cost me £65.
I bet you would pay double that at a garden centre.

Pretty straight forward experience, had what I needed in stock. Store paid out nice and neat and plenty of staff at hand should I need any help

Went in to get some bits to do up my front room today, including lamp shades. Found one I liked, but I needed two and there was only one! So, I popped down to customer services to ask if they had any more anywhere else. There were two guys there and I asked if they had any more of these lamp shades. One guy responded with “everything that’s out is what we’ve got”. The other guy came straight across and scanned the lamp shade to check what they had. He then said they had 9 in stock and proceeded to hunt them down and fetch one for me that was up on a high shelf! It took him about 5-10 minutes to do this all for me, it was very kind of him. I think the guy that helped was called Alistair. He was very helpful and a great example of fantastic customer service. Thanks again!

I have been here quite a few times. The products sold are extremely of good quality for the money you spend. They have a huge free parking and a small restaurant in the parking. I would like to visit for any further requirements at home.

Good for the diy enthusiast. Stocking most of the stuff you'll need for your project.
Very competitive prices. Plenty of staff around to assist, very knowledgeable with the store products and willing to show you where the item is stored.
Free and easy parking, but mind the potholes!

Went in today to make a large purchase of tiles. Samara who was working on the self service was fantastic. Not just with me but with other customers too. Her customer service was exceptional which unfortunately I have not experienced before at any B&Q store before. Well done Samara and thank you!
