Well curated bottle shop, the prices are also VERY fair. I see the exact same wines at higher prices in other shops in the city.

The owners are knowledgeable and make good recommendations.

City Cellars is the bomb! They’re my go-to for fantastic yet affordable wine ($10 and under shelf just inside the door is handpicked by the owner) or a fine vintage to impress my friends. It’s organized by growing region, and it’s a small enough store that you can browse a great selection without getting overwhelmed. The owner and staff are also extremely knowledgeable— they always help me find what I’m looking for!

City Cellars is a fantastic wine store. We buy most of our wines here because the owners are so friendly and knowledgeable to guide you to a fantastic wine for any occasion or meal. I specifically love the 100 wines for under $10 shelves. I love going to a wine store where I know I will leave with a good bottle of wine without guessing, like I would at a grocer or Trader Joe’s.

I stopped into this store two years ago or so on a business trip to Seattle. I just got a chance to stop in again yesterday. I was looking for a wine from the Madiran AOP, which aren't very easy to find. Well, sorry wine lovers, I got their last bottle for now. The lady working there was great and very knowledgeable. Wonderful to talk to. She also helped to pick out a Fronton AOP wine (both are from the Southwest of France, south of Bordeaux). I had mentioned her that I owned a wine and spirits store in Colorado Springs which helped to conversation immensely. The City Cellars has a great selection of wine and I highly recommend it to locals. Don't put your money where your mouse is, BUY LOCAL. Support LOCAL businesses. Thanks City Cellars.

City Cellars is an amazing place for great wine finds and advice! There is a $10 and under shelf. If you ever need help finding wine for different occasions, you will get the best advice! Also on Friday evenings they have tastings!

Lovely staff, amazing selection of wines from around the world, both old favorites and new adventures. Every bottle so far has been vibrant and expressive and delicious.

Lots of help in learning about and selecting wines. Great selection of wines that you'll never find in grocery stores. Wines at all price points, including highly affordable. Highly recommended.

Love this place! Great wine at a great price. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. You can find Washington wines and specialties you do not come across at other local grocery stores.

Skip the anodyne selection at the next-door QFC and head here! Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff; extensive selection (like, 2 or 3x what Vif on Fremont carries); very reasonably priced.
