Safeway

I never have a bad experience with Safeway. They always have what I need. Maybe not always the best prices, but better than Fred Mayer. The associates are always friendly and helpful, especially to me as a disabled individual, which is especially important.

Love their organic veggies & fruits. Their organic half & half is awesome & great for my stomach. Appreciate the cut up fruits & veggies which helps me to minimize waste at home & time.

Customer service is alive and well at this store. I went to the self-checkout lane. I was minding my business when a very helpful young man, Dustin, approached my area. He noticed I had two twelve-packs of Coke. He pointed out that they were buy two/get two free. He then went and got the two extra 12 packs for me, scanned them, and loaded them in the cart. He proceeded to scan my juice and place it in the cart. Then he also performed the override that would later be required for skipping the bagging of these items. Nice job, Dustin! I hope everyone else knows the great job you do!

Very friendly staff and much much cleaner than the Ballard store that I usually go to.

The floors and the bathroom were super clean, despite all the snow in Seattle (Dec2021-Jan2022)

The fresh produce were restocked even at 8pm when I went. The store layout allowed for me into venture into frozen veggies, which I've never managed to find in Ballard (may be bigger store?)

Ample parking and right off a main junction which makes it easy to pop in and pop out

Safeway is the most heavenly place imaginable. So clean. So orderly. So friendly. Filled floor to ceiling with the colorful and shiny products of our capitalist utopia. All reasonably priced and high quality. It makes me so happy to just say the name of this magical place: SAFEWAY. Truly the mecca of grocery shopping.

Great store! Centrally located. Plenty of handicapped parking spaces. Handicapped friendly store with handicapped buggies available.

Friendly staff through out. A wide selection of products. Great quality as well. Prices are also very affordable.

The store location is highly visible from the main road. It is well lit at night and public transportation stops nearby.

Easy to access from Aurora Ave. Lots of stuff in stock and the employees are helpful. The deli and meats departments are clean and the staff seem like they know how to do what they're hired to do. Sometimes I'll go there and see what seasonings they've added onto the meats and try new things. It's great and helps me to keep my mind open about the seasonings used in my own cooking style.

Great in every way except consistently have too fee cashiers to checkout customers. Have lines of 10-20 people trying to checkout and management has done nothing to correct this problem. The cashiers do an outstanding job and remain friendly and helpful but they shouldn't have to receive the angry words and blame for management's lack of assistance with the customers needs. Other than that, I love the employee, store setup and prices.

I know my way around the store now. The clientele, staff are all responsible and reasonable. The savings offset dollars spent. I love knowing that I will find the usual things I want and need. The bus ride is pretty short and I wait for the bus going home on the same side of the road as Safeway. Carrying heavy bags across an intersection is no fun. Safeway employees are good sincere hard workers and they are my neighbors. Always Safeway!

This Safeway is hit and miss with its deli service as well as product quality. The product is actually good but when not prepared as requested, it doesn't taste the same. The people who hang around the store look homeless and dirty.

I just gave my opinion of this place in a recent review the employees are great they go out of their way to help I come here to pick up my Amazon orders in the secured locker system but as I said in my other review just not understanding why people are bashing in the store because I get the total opposite treatment and I don't see any of the things that are mentioned going on other than the Homeless Problem which is everywhere but that's not their job to deal with. I think these people that are making these reviews just have too much time on their hands and they whine about everything if you don't like what's going on why don't you go down there and try to help them fix it or sit back and be the arm chair complainer that you are. Every public service store that I have been to all have the same problems lack of people to come to work and provide service for the public and it's not getting any better because of our government entities bending over for these entitlement whiners. You should try going and living over in the Middle East somewhere you think it's so bad here you wouldn't last a week there

The cashier was great, but I neglected to catch her name. The lines were medium to long, but she got us through rather quick and helped me finish off a Visa gift card (those have caused myself and some cashiers trouble in the past).

I love 💕 this Safeway! I come here often to buy 🌺 for my mom. Since I come here anyway, I also buy my meat too. The prices are super reasonable and Charles in the meat department is so helpful and he’s always patient with me even though I know he’s busy. Also, my meat (regardless of what I decide to buy that day) is always neat and pretty! I feel like a chef 👩‍🍳 when I get home!

Good location, easy access. Typically well stocked with plenty of space vs other, more cramped locations.

Ok. I think I actually might love this location TOO much. The pharmacy staff feels like family to me at this point! They're so amazing. All the grocery store staff are awesome too. So friendly! I've never had a bad experience here, and just like every grocery store worker during the pandemic, these guys are kicking B-U-T-T! Lol

They carry GTs Kambucha with Alcohol. We don't have this in North Carolina.

I just left Safeway tonight. I went in there I was not in a very good mood I'm not feeling well. There were only two women working I'm not sure what the has one woman's name was but the other woman's name that helped me her name was Victoria. When I got frustrated and snapped, Victoria had a smile on her face the whole time. Those two women were working hard tonight they deserve a raise! Thank you ladies and thank you Safeway
