The Recology Store

I was a little bit suspicious about the value of a place like this but when I finally went in to pick up the free composting kit I was very impressed. A lot of different merchandise with a green theme, even essential oils and
toys. A woman who was very interesting giving talks about different concepts on the fly.

If you are interested in doing your civic duty of caring for our natural world and learning about cool recycled products this is a great place. Staff very knowledgeable and caring. Bring your Styrofoam for recycling too.

We drop off our styrofoam and look at their great, environmentally friendly dish soap, laundry soap, etc. Bring your own container to fill. Lots of cool stuff in there!

Some really great products are available here. Many are used nearly every day and can minimize sources of pollution like reusable containers for food and detergents. They also have sustainable soaps, detergents, and products from recycled and repurposed materials.
They also accept several types of items for recycling.

I love having the Recology Store in Shoreline. They are always so friendly and helpful. It's nice knowing I can take my batteries, styrofoam etc. somewhere safe for the environment.
