Menards

We had bought a freezer that had stopped working and was right at our 1 year warranty mark. After speaking with staff at menards in grimes they said they could exchange it for a like product. Tom and Greg were very helpful and made the whole process very easy. Would highly recommend. So thankful they turned a stressful situation into and easy solution.

Another great Menards location. The store is only a couple years old and it still looks brand new. Always clean and well stocked. The staff is very friendly and helpful too with whatever questions you may have. Definitely recommend!

I've had several good experiences at this location. The associates are friendly and helpful and the store is clean and well stocked. We recently had our refrigerator go out and needed to get it replaced and delivered immediately. The salesperson Tom was very helpful and the assistant manager helped us get the refrigerator delivered the next day. We really appreciated their helpfulness, difficult to find customer oriented stores now.

Can always find more than we went looking for. Love the rebate program. You spend money but get money. Wish it could be a digital reward program at some point to make it easier and save on paper/envelopes/stamps.

I didn’t use to be a Menards fan but I totally changed my mind!!! The 11% is great! I feel like I’m saving on everything I buy! It’s like a superstore with paint, lumber, plants, groceries and greeting cards! I love that the cleaning products are close to the front door! I can only find clear Dawn dish soap here! You have a wonderful location too! You guys are in a class of your own! Thanks for serving Grimes and the surrounding communities!!!

Crowded on the first gorgeous Saturday of the spring, but plenty of cashiers keeping the line moving.

Very helpful. Home Depot guy was a waste of my time. Offered wrong item and the item was bad. Menard hands down was perfect.

Menards- always has whatever you are looking for plus a bunch of stuff you didn't know you needed. I appreciate the staff at the Grimes Menards, they actually seek you out and ask if you need help, or that's just me, looking lost when trying to pick out light switch covers ha.

Great location, such an amazing additional to Grimes and surrounding small towns. 5 stars!

We returned items and picked up a few items.

Used to go to Hickman, now I'll go out of my way to Grimes when I want to Save Big Money! This all started because supplies were running low in town so I found myself spending alot piecing together projects with supplies from different stores. The Grimes store is newer and more customer friendly. The yard and supply buildings are amazing. Very well lit and plenty of space to maneuver with a trailer. Often at the other stores I feel like I am in the way, but not here. Yard help was great. As soon as I pulled in I was asked if I needed help. I politely declined as I am grown @$$ man. However, I hadn't been to this yard before so I wasn't sure where the treated posts were. The gentlemen not only helped me locate the post but hopped on his fork lift took off and started rounding up the rest of my order. Then he helped me load it up! Saved me a ton of time. Guy was sweating by the end of it! It's been a long time since I've had that kind of help. Tossed him a $20 and cruised off into the late night mist!

I walked out into the yard and a young man showed me where the deck boards were that I wanted. He printed my ticket and showed me what screws to buy. Very very helpful.

We needed help in the Garden Center 8/12/22. A young man named Cody helped us and answered all our questions. If he wasn’t sure he found out for us. Great employee!!!

I ordered flooring materials online. Within 30 minutes i received notice that the order was ready. We pulled into Order pickup and called, they came out and helped us load the order within minutes.
The whole experience could not have been better!

Went looking for a stain/paint sprayer and found everything I need. Seemed like reasonable prices compared to stores and online.

Opened new in 2020. Very large store, I believe somewhere I saw it is one of the largest if not the largest. Has just about anything hardware and lumber wise you need. Large outdoor lumber yard. Nice store!

Great store! Everyone is super helpful. One young man even told me I had food on my shirt that I hadn't noticed because I had eaten in my car. I'll always be a customer. 💚

The Grimes store is open for business. All the shelves are stocked and eager faced personnel are ready to guide you through the massive store to find what you need. My only hope is that we might hear the employees break into a stirring rendition of "Save big money when you shop Menards."
