Great staff, lots of boots to choose from! Ended up coming to this one because they didn't have my size at the ingersoll store.

I came to Des Moines on a roadtrip with my wife, and I had my heart set on getting a new hat while I was in town. I looked around online, and there were a couple of places I could have gone to. I stopped in at this Boot Barn first, and it was my only stop.

You can tell that they were a little short staffed, but the staff I met there were awesome. They had quite a selection of hats, and I found my Stetson with no issue. I walked around the store to check out the rest of it and spoke with maybe 2 or 3 employees on the floor. Great conversations and they even gave me local dining advice. Though I didn't buy anything besides the hat, they had quite a selection.

If I'm ever in Des Moines again, I'll definitely stop here!

Thank goodness this is here in Iowa! Moved here from a lifetime in Texas a few months ago and you have to search far and wide for a western store! Superbly friendly employees, who were kind and sharp witted enough to know we didn't need help while shopping! Great selection! Wish it wasn't in the mall, but if that's the only downside, we'll survive! We will be back!

Great products and friendly service

I'm not much into western wear, but I needed a belt for my wife. TJ saw my struggle and was very helpful, even looping the belt through a pair of women's pants to make sure it fit correctly. The merchandise was well organized, staff was helpful and friendly. Overall a very good experience. I might just need to wander back at some point for boots and a hat 😀

We are really happy with their new store, stopped in for sale items, and were also pleased with their merchandise selection.

Great selection of western wear. Prices are on point and they carry the big brands you want like Ariat and Durango.

Stores in Iowa are predicibly limited for western wear but fortunately y'all have a boot barn.

Mike was more than helpful in finding the perfect pair of work boots. He is kind, well mannered and sincere. Which isn't all that common these days. We will definitely back for our future boot purchases, and won't go anywhere else.

Gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable of the products I was looking at and helped make my decision on a work boot simple. Wish I would have caught his name, he's a real asset to your organization/business.

Went to the store they didn't have my size nor the price range I was looking for. They weren't much help so went online and ordered a pair of light brown ropers and they arrived within a week they are absolutely beautiful , right price range and so comfy .
I won't go to the store but I will be ordering online.

Always a good place for me. Decent boot selection and good work clothes at fair prices. The only downside is it's in Valley West Mall which is dying all around the few stores that remain.

I had a blast at Boot Barn My salesperson name was Eric so if you go there ask for Eric He's a great older gentleman who helped me pick out my Cody Lane work boots never even heard of Cody Lane but there are the best fitting boots that I found today so if you're at Boot Barn ask for Eric

Way nicer than when it was at the mall. Lots of boots to choose from(even way more kids) very clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful when needed

Staff was incredibly. Grace was the name of the young lady that helped me out. She was incredibly helpful despite my indecisiveness. All-around great customer service.
