Stopped by to get gas and pick up a few snacks.

The pump area is well lit, and the pumps are easy to use. The area is relatively clean. If you desire, you can even get a car wash.

When inside to grab a couple of snacks. Bathroom is clean, and this store is well lit. Even late on a Sunday, the coffee area was well stocked.

Lots of automation is used in the store. From self, ordering kiosks, to self check out, automation is available to move you along quickly.

Also, there is signage everywhere. From the parking spaces to indoors. Easily to find whatever you need and what deals they are offering.

Overall, not a bad experience

The Royal Farms on Shockley Drive has an amazing manager by the name of Michelle. I highly recommend her to be promoted to the area manager rather than solely of this particular store location because she knows what it takes to make a customer feel special and provide the highest level of customer service! I filled up my tank with a full gas with the specific intention of obtaining .20 cents off per gallon since it was part of the promotion to obtain a free car wash which I had intended on purchasing all along. Upon starting to fill up my tank I had elected the proper buttons in order to do so. Even though the gas pump failed to follow through on its end, Michelle made it her responsibility as the store manager to make sure that I obtained my free car wash although she was unable to provide me with the $.20 off per gallon which I really was not worried about anyway- I just wanted my car wash to be honest with you and she made sure that I got it free of charge despite what many other managers may have done or had disputed with me. However, Michelle honored my honesty. I got my car washed and left happy in the end! This woman deserves a promotion, raise or at the very least some recognition for going above and beyond to ensure her customers leave happy!!!

I must say the chicken and fries here are spectacular.....you want to know why? The little lady with the lip piercings behind the counter who dips and frys both; well, she dips it so it is actually is fully covered. Many of the lications dont care to make sure this happens. It makes a difference.
Also i must let others know that a small wedge (fry) has 8 in the box, medium wedge (fry) has 12 in the box, and a large wedge (fry) has 24 in the box.
So little lady behind the counter who is young and does so well....keep going girl and you dont mind all the silly distractions out there that might say some negative talk. You know your worth and silly little people they dont matter. You also do so well with customer service at a young age and most dont learn that till in their 40s if they are taught manners or respect from upbringing. Unfortunately, your going to always come across negativity and as long as you are taught these things growing up than you already know these people dont matter. Fry on youngin. Fry on!!!

Michelle k is the most delightful person I've ever encountered, when I get off work I'm silver Diner at night I am usually tired and beat down but when I walk inside real forms to get my pack of cigarettes in my sweet tea her smile and warm inviting spirit brings me peace Joy and gives me a attitude of gratitude.

I recently ordered delivery from here through Uber Eats. Long story short, my entire order wasn't delivered. I drove to the store to pick up the rest of my order. I was in and out with my missing items in less than 10 seconds. Justin was very kind and extremely helpful!

Ran into a small issue here, but the staff was great and put me in touch with someone at corporate. Corporate reached out to me very quickly and listened to my concerns and took action on them super quick. Great to see a great company that really cares about their customers!

I ordered 2 Chicken Sandwiches and paid for them in WV.
I opened the bag and realized I had someone else’s order!
I stopped into the Royal Farms in Frederick and showed the manager my receipt and she gladly gave me the correct order!
I’m happy to say it gives you Great Piece of Mind to shop at places you can trust!

The new building is amazing and I love the fact that they have self checkout here. Initially the food prep service was pretty slow and disorganized, but I have definitely noticed an improvement in the past few weeks. The chicken is simply outstanding.

I have commented previously about how awesome Royal Farms chicken is to me. But I wanted to comment on a specific incident involving service that I received at the Shockley Drive Frederick location. I thought my daughter had called in our 50 piece chicken order the previous day to be picked up on Memorial Day at 4:00 pm. When I arrived on time I found that no such order could be found. I was panicked because everyone was waiting at the table for dinner and I would have to wait 30 minutes for newly cooked chicken. Mandy and David took it upon themselves to hustle up and put together a 50 piece order of fresh chicken in about three or four minutes wait. I was able to make the dinner on time and the chicken was fresh and hot. I must admit I was expecting the palms up "what can I do" response when my order could not be found on a major Federal holiday. It is good to see that service is still alive and well at Royal Farms.

I'm not ashamed to say that their fried chicken is the bomb! Don't get me wrong. I don't eat it all the time, just when I need a fix and the drive is too long to visit Mom. There is always a special too. Run don't walk to your nearest location.

I don’t see how anyone is saying the employees are mean, I went, and they were all great. And I don’t think I need to mention how good the chicken sandwich is. Definitely coming again

They have the best homestyle chicken salad next to mine. The ladies that work in the kitchen are always smiling and courteous.

Royal Farms has the best gasoline and food market. Excellent service and spacious parking are important. Great layout for easy access and traffic flow.

Nice service, affordable gas price, awesome moon view

Needed a quick sandwich made for my ride home and was not expecting it to be nearly as good as it was. Pretty darn impressed for a “gas station” - wish this franchise was in my hometown area!

Every since the new manager got there I have seen wonderful changes to the store she is doing such a amazing job.

Good service good food best chicken

We made a random stop. Google maps was directing us to a much further gas station when we spotted this along the way. It reminds me of Cumberland Farms before it required membership to access cheaper gas.
