I love specs,the staff are friendly & down to earth, they are always willing to help you find a product. They have a great selection of drinks and you can always find the staff.

Unlike Total wine, the staff are not friendly,they are stuck up and seem very prejudiced. I don't recommend Total wine but I do recommend specs.

I had a great experience at this location. Elijah did a great job in helping me decide what to purchase. I really appreciate how his suggestions were tailored towards my situation.

I wish we knew the name of the gentleman who helped us pick a champagne for our toast at our wedding. He was very knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and considerate. This place is massive, with an extensive variety, and you'll definitely find what you need.

I came here for the very first time in December of 2023 to try and find my parents some nice champagne or maybe some wine instead. Being someone who had just recently turned 21, I was nervous about going into any kind of liquor store due to my young appearance. But upon entering and browsing for a few minutes, my party and I were already greeted and asked for help by another employee who was very sweet and attentive. Still not sure what it was that I was looking for we declined his help and I continued looking around the champagne and sparkling wine section hoping that I would find the kind of booze that would just "speak to me", but of course with so many options it quickly gets overwhelming.

I was about to just shell out some money on a nice looking bottle of sparkling wine until a wonderful employee named Bob approached us asking what we were looking for that evening. Bob was a very sweet man that was very attentive to what I was describing to him and showed me wonderful recommendations based off the limited amount of information that I knew from my parents and even walked me through the varying levels of sweetness of champagnes and their correct terms so that I could have a better idea as to what my parents preferred.

Albeit a bit standoffish at first, he quickly warmed up to us whenever we began to get more invested into what he was telling us and we also started to warm up to him as well, which resulted in us asking him all types of questions. And after calling my own parents and even other family members what kind of liquor they liked I quickly made my way back to Bob who was informing my boyfriend about other drinks and his own personal recommendations. Back to back we questioned him and he was diligent and respectful in answering all of our questions. Not once did I feel like I was chewing up his time nor did it feel like he was getting frustrated with all of our questions and I greatly appreciated that.

What was thought to be a quick 15 minute trip into a Spec's quickly turned into a 2-hour informative session of all the different types of booze that we have always been curious about and even other types of alcohols that we haven't even heard of or even considered. Not only was Bob there for my group at all times ready to answer any questions or give us recommendations, he also went out of his way to ask his own coworkers about their own opinions on different types of liquors that they have tried and even personally recommend.

Unfortunately I was unable to catch their names, but the gentleman with the longer hair who helped my boyfriend regarding different brands of tequila left a very good impression on him, and because of the employees enthusiasm my boyfriend became much more interested in trying all the new tequila recommendations. And for the other gentleman who also gave his own insight on different Canadian whisky's, other whisky's, and other brands that may be better for my brother, your recommendation along with Bob's was top notch! Of course I can't also forget to mention the very kind action of Bob giving my party and I a bulk deal (which we incredibly appreciate, their enthusiasm also enthused our pockets a bit).

Overall I had an incredibly wonderful experience for my very first time at Spec's or any liquor store for that manner. I was completely ready to be pushed to the side for other individuals but instead I was greeted with upmost kindness and enthusiasm from all of the employees that I've interacted with. But the one who left the biggest impression on me was most definitely Bob Bragg; impeccable customer service and patience.

And before I forget, all of the recommendations that Bob gave me for all of my family members and their own personal choice of liquor was a hit! My parents loved the sparkling wine and Michael's cream liquor, while my brother and his wife enjoyed the 12-year aged whiskey and Shevkoff Vodka.

Thanks again to Bob Bragg and everyone else that helped us at Spec's, I'll definitely be back!

Great store. They always have a great selection of whiskeys, beer, and wine. Enjoyed talking about bourbon with a couple of the employees. They made some great suggestions. I took home a couple of good bottles.

Specs are always awesome, but this one is my go-to! Mathew the assistant manager is so helpful! He knows his liquors thoroughly and helps to guide novices towards products they'll love.

We went to Specs today looking for some new Whiskeys and Bourbons and we were so LUCKY to have found Alberto to help us. He not only knows his profiles and brands he was able to ask what we already liked to determine what he thought we might also like. THANK YOU ALBERTO The Whistler, Rowans Creek, Sensei and 1835 were all fantastic recommendations and winners in our book. SPECS is lucky to have such a knowledgeable, friendly, helpful employee

Spec's has a great selection of everything and I truly enjoy looking around and hearing about new things but I had a bonus at this visit. A very personable young man that was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
So, I'm trying a new tequila and a sweet and sour mix he said would make the best margaritas.

Specs De Zavals has very nice employees that are willing to help. Plenty of products too. Did a tasting with Fresca Grapefruit Paloma & Fresca Vodka Spritz. Both were very tasty. Employees are very helpful at this atore!

How could you go wrong with aisles and aisles of alcohol. Great beer selection, they have all my favorites. You can definitely find what you are looking for and then some more, here.

I live literally just a short walk from here but that's not important...I've never had a complaint or any bad with the employees or selection. These fine people here know a thing or two and are über helpful and are happy to share a joke or two (in my encounters). I would recommend this store whole heatedly. Bottles in pic are some of the "samples" tested thoroughly in "my liver labs" (lol) these are good. You should try!

Great service, cheap prices and huge selection. They give discounts when you pay in cash. Highly recommended.
