Whole Foods Market

Brand new store. Smaller than most but convenient for Jersey City - Newport area residents. In building parking, free for an adequate interval. Produce section small but replenished often. Good prepared foods selection. Smaller choices of canned and other items due to space constraints. Good store for necessities, larger venues such as Weehawken or suburban locations still essential for more esoteric items.

They have everything. Also the things I buy are less expensive than the other markets. I’ve always had fresh items. I like that they have a seating area and bathroom which are both clean. Is everyone that works there always friendly no, but I’m sure it’s not the easiest job and everyone has a bad day. I really love their cheese and bakery selection plus they have delicious soups and salad bar plus hot food selections.

Honestly always a pleasant time to stop by and grab a quick bite to eat, whether I’m on my way home or going to the office. Maria (catering supervisor) but also runs the kitchen with a warm, welcoming and literally catering to us in the most splendid way. I also want to shout out, the chef, I believe his name is Tserin, wow honestly he knows how to cook, when I say cook, I mean I’m a firm believer he can put his foot in the food if you know what I mean 😉 or as in my country they would say “Se dejo caer la greña” which translates to (he let his hair down)! It’s wonderful thank you for everything.

Really enjoy Wholefoods in general when I'm in the US! This one is great. Only 12 minutes walk from my hotel!

The fresh food/ salad counter is perfect. They even signal if something is paleo-friendly!

Went the night before the Thanksgiving holiday, and I was amazed at how organised they were and how kind the staff were given how busy it was! The line moved very quickly. Super well run business and genuinely great customer experience.

Though it was small (keep in mind, they don't have everything like the big Whole Foods stores but good variety), it was neat and clean. Employees were willing to help with any questions and assistance. I appreciate that!

Always a lot of variety at this store.

Decent whole foods, sad the hot buffet is open longer. My only major gripe is the seafood area, the smell makes me avoid the produce section.

Perfect location. Lots of variety. This Whole Foods was a blessing for my daughter and I recently. We were staying in a local hotel as she was recovering from knee surgery (long story). The ready to eat, prepared food was super tasty and way better trying to pick local restaurants. It was fun to pick out a variety of foods. They also have a lot of fresh produce and convenience items. Check out is pretty quick with self check out. It is a little pricey and gets busy towards closing time but worth it for our needs and a treasure in a big city. I did not take any photos.

Grocery+cold/warm food+warm soups and you can eat what you bought upstairs. There is coffee corner as well. Handy concept.

Went for the dollar oyster Friday's! I went on 4/28/2023. The dude working behind the seafood counter was very knowledgeable and was very helpful in picking out the oysters I wanted. He made me and my feel very happy with our choices and we ended up getting 24 which we shucked at home. Hey whole foods, the guy working behind the seafood counter is great, keep him at all costs.

The rest of the store ( like the seafood section) was very clean and the other staff were helpful. All in all this was one of the best whole foods I've been to.

Wonderful supermarket with a great selection of fresh products. They also have a lot of baked goods as well as meat, seafood and a huge selection of fruits and vegetables.

Great food. The 365 brand is pretty good

Ordered groceries for pick up , brought my e-scooter into the store, used bathroom. Very accomodating.

I was able to find my heirloom tomatoes, which are my favorite tomatoes.
