Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge is not just a mere transition from one shore to another; it's a profound immersion into the atmosphere of history, architectural splendor, and urban life. Stepping onto this majestic bridge, I was enveloped in an aura of ageless beauty and strength.
The breathtaking views of Manhattan and the Brooklyn waterfront evoke a sense of awe.
The bridge serves as a symbolic link between the bustling energy of Manhattan and the eclectic charm of Brooklyn. The cacophony of diverse languages, the laughter of families, and the hum of city life form a symphony that resonates across the East River.

Some of the most iconic photo backdrops can be found here. As a native New Yorker I must admit I often take for granted to beauty of this great city. This place reminds me of the true beauty of New York.
The best time to visit the bridge is during sunrise, sunset and after dark. The best pictures are captured during sunrise and sunset.
If you’re looking to have the bridge mostly to yourself I would visit during sunrise. Compared to the rest of the day, there are very few people there at this time, just the occasional jogger or two.
The walk across the bridge is something that can’t be missed. Especially during the morning hours. At times it can be surreal.
Plus this is a great activity that’s completely free. In this great city, finding fun free activities is limited!

Wonderful place, magical view at any time of the day, but especially at sunset! It’s so iconic, you’ve seen it in all movies that when you are there, it feels super special!

I recommend to go on sunset or sunrise (less people). You can take the subway to arrive there fast. Walking g the bridge is great, you have a dedicated pedestrian walk and it’s very nice for pictures and buying souvenirs.

It’s simply a wow to see the beauty of New York from the Brooklyn Bridge. It is very lively with many number of people everywhere. Small vendors, food trucks, juice points etc reminds us country fair.

This was a beautiful morning walk across the river. It’s about a twenty minute walk across the river with nice little corners to stop and take pictures of the city. Also a great alternative from some of the more expensive New York views. I was there early January morning which was pretty chilly—and there were a decent amount of people on the bridge. I could see this being really crowded during nicer weather. Overall I really loved this walk and one of my favorite parts of my trip to New York.

Crossing the iconic Brooklyn Bridge is a journey that encapsulates the heart of New York City. As you step onto the pedestrian walkway, you can hear the passing traffic and distant city sounds. The breathtaking skyline of Manhattan can be seen. The weathered wooden planks beneath your feet offer a nostalgic contrast to the sleek, modern architecture above. You can see the East River flowing beneath, and the Statue of Liberty stands in the distance. Me and my family crossed it while it was raining and I have no regrets in doing so. Crossing this bridge is a must when in NYC!

Tourism in New York will take you to the Brooklyn Suspension Bridge, that bridge that we have often seen in cinematic films, because it connects the cities of Brooklyn and Manhattan. The Brooklyn Bridge is one of the oldest bridges among the landmarks of America, and this is what attracts it today as one of the most famous tourist places in New York.
The most distinctive feature of the Brooklyn Bridge is the uniqueness of its kind. The Brooklyn Bridge was designed based on the Gothic generosity, which is a well-known European architectural style that appeared at the end of the Middle Ages, as it is characterized by sophistication and grandeur.
Therefore, if your next destination is not tourism in New York; Do not miss the opportunity to immediately take pictures with this great bridge.

Walk across from Brooklyn to Manhattan, NOT the other way! You'll have a lot better views! Hard to find out how to get to the entrance, though, so research that before going.

Clean, safe. Have bike lanes on the Brooklyn to Manhattan-bound lanes. They turned one of those 3 lanes into 2 bike lanes - one each way.

Great walk that leads to the hidden treasures of Brooklyn. Take scenic photos of Brooklyn Bridge. Go at night to see Manhattan Bridge lit up and the Manhattan skyline. Nearby Jane's Carousel offers a nivlce park to ride the antique horses on the carousel. Only 2 bucks a ticket. Walk a bit further to Brooklyn Heights and walk the promenade. Be treated to gardens, a beautiful look on the water, and more New York skyline.

amazing bridge. I have long dreamed of visiting there. There are a lot of people in the evening, but you can still take great photos. At the beginning and end of the bridge there are benches where you can relax. They also often sell magnets and offer to make 360-degree videos.

It’s a must see when you are in NYC! Such an iconic place! The view is simply breathtaking from every angle whether you are looking at Manhattan skyline, Brooklyn or Staten Island. It’s quite crowded especially when the weather is nice so prepare for that. The entrance can be a bit tough to find from the Manhattan side if there is construction going on. There are many tourist stands with souvenirs and Alicia Keys plays on repeat.

Lots of people suggested going here in the morning as it gets busier in the afternoon, and I am glad we did follow their suggestion. I saw other people's photos in the afternoon (during the holiday), and the bridge was packed. When we were there at 8 am ish, there were people, but it was not too difficult to take pictures. I didn't feel rushed or feel like I was bothering other people to take photos. So, I would recommend to cross the bridge in the morning.

What is there to say? Beautiful sight either at night or day. Exceptionally pretty when the weather is nice and the skies are crystal clear.
An absolute must see. There are vendors on exchange side of the bridge so if you’re looking for cheap souvenirs this place is it

"Definitely worth walking the bridge during the colder months. I highly recommend wearing something thick, as once you're on it, there's a lot of wind and it's cold. But the view of New York is definitely worth the walk. Dress warmly = enjoy!!"

To walk and experience the Brooklyn Bridge is a must for anyone travelling to New York. Took a ferry from pier 11 to see the New York skyline with all its glory, then walked back into Manhattan on the Brooklyn Bridge after exploring the whole of Dumbo, Brooklyn. Because the bridge is a tourist attraction ,it can be a bit overcrowded at least in my case but it was fun walking through this buzzing part of the city.

What an incredible piece of engineering the Brooklyn Bridge is. The views are breathtaking and the structure of the bridge gets more impressive as you walk further onto the bridge.
The only negative are the vast amounts of souvenir stalls and video clip vendors blasting out the same song.
