This is definitely a go-to place if you are visiting NY! It's an extraordinary architecture. I loved being there. The atmosphere was wonderful. There was music, people enjoying their afternoon. A wonderful sight in this busy city.

Last Thursday was my 1st time down at Hudson Yards and seeing The Vessel. I live way uptown and haven't been traveling that far for a long time for many reasons. My mouth fell open when I saw it. At night the building was lit in a way that was just stunning! I'm not sure if you can enter during the day anymore.

The Vessel at Hudson Yards is an architectural masterpiece that truly stands out in the heart of Manhattan. As soon as you approach the structure, you are instantly captivated by its unique and intricate design.
The Vessel is a honeycomb-like structure consisting of 154 interconnected staircases and 80 landings. It stands at a breathtaking 150 feet tall and offers visitors the opportunity to climb its various platforms and explore the surrounding neighborhood from a different perspective.
One of the highlights of the experience is the magnificent views you get as you ascend the staircases. You can see the entire Hudson Yards complex, the Hudson River, and even glimpse the iconic skyline of New York City. The open-air design allows for a refreshing breeze, making the climb even more enjoyable.
What sets the Vessel apart from other tourist attractions is the interactivity it offers. Visitors can easily spend hours exploring the structure, taking pictures, and enjoying the ambiance. The staircases are not just a means of getting from one point to another; they are a work of art themselves. The geometric patterns and the play of light and shadow create a visually stunning experience.
Another aspect that deserves praise is the efficiency of the operation. Despite its popularity, there is a well-managed system in place to control the number of visitors on the structure at any given time. This ensures that everyone gets to enjoy the Vessel without it feeling overcrowded. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing assistance and guidance throughout the visit.
The Vessel also serves as a hub for community events and performances, adding an extra layer of charm to the experience. Whether it's live music, art exhibitions, or cultural showcases, there is always something happening at the Vessel.
Overall, visiting the Vessel at Hudson Yards is an unforgettable experience. It combines stunning architecture, breathtaking views, and interactivity in a way that appeals to both locals and tourists. Whether you are a lover of art, architecture, or simply want a unique perspective of New York City, the Vessel should definitely be on your must-visit list.

The location is perfect for photography! The building is amazing! Unfortunately, it was closed, so you could only see it from inside at the lower level. Still worth it!

the Vessel is an architectural marvel that offers an unmatched experience. While the inability to go upstairs is unfortunate, the impact and significance of the structure cannot be diminished. It stands as a testament to human creativity and serves as a gathering place for the community. The Vessel continues to inspire and captivate visitors, leaving a lasting impression that extends far beyond its physical accessibility.

The Vessel is indeed worth the visit! I recommend you to walk the high line from the start nearest to Little Island and make your way to the Vessel, it's seems somewhat rewarding when u make it there! In terms of transportation, the Hudson Yards Station is a stone throw away so no worries there. Additionally, when I visited in July 2023 persons were not allowed to make their way up.

Cannot take the steps up pending renovations. Still a sight to behold on ground level. Also, free at present. Previously cost $30 to walk the steps. Interesting to experience.

Really nice. A new landmark up to NYC standards. Quite windy even at ground level.
I found it cery nice that you can take the High Line and just walk to Chelsea

It was a fun place to visit when they let people go up! Fortunately was able to do it a few years ago! Now you can only go to the ground floor and take pics! Definitely a cool structure to look out from outside too!

Beautiful architecture and I'm sure the views are amazing when the full spot is open. Right across the way from shopping and food! Beautiful garden surrounding it

Amazing place! The building is really cool, and the surroundings are also pretty cool and decorated ( benches, and trees and lights everywhere). At the time being, climbing up the building is not allowed, but you can get inside just on the base of the building, which offers a pretty amazing view! The staff working on the entrance of the building were really nice too!

Cool spot to visit if your around NYC for a trip or nearby! Great to come around holiday / Christmas season as the mall next to it, is all lit up with Christmas decor and lights. You can take some amazing pics with your friends & family! Great scenery! :D

Finally!! I’ve experienced the Amazing Vessel in person! Boy what a treat, it’s absolutely phenomenal in every way. Though we still can’t go up, we can enter the bottom part of the vessel look up & behold the architectural beauty. It can be slightly crowded assuming the time you arrive, I was there at 10:30am, & it was tight. Highly recommend visiting with family & friends before 10am. Lastly I love that there’s seating options available outside the vessel.

MODERN ARTWORK AT ITS FINEST
NOTE THE PRACTICAL & INTERACTIVE DESIGN THAT ALLOWS YOU TO BOTH VIEW THE ART, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY IMMERSE YOURSELF INSIDE THE ART BY PHYSICAL WALKING-THRU THE VESSEL

Absolutely stunning sculpture that you can climb and walk around.

Wow. What architecture. Too bad it was closed, still worth seeing and you can still go inside. Very amazing addition to Hudson Yards. Make sure you put your phone on the ground in the middle of it so you can take the famous picture like me.

We visited after hours but it was magnificent from the outside and can't wait to go back and go up it.

This was one of my favorite places during my stay in Manhattan. I'm so thankful a friend recommended it.
I actually liked that it was closed so no one was walking on it. Made for some gorgeous pictures! You can still go right up to it, and they had a farmer's Market on Tuesday and Thursday plus a fun mural and nice tables and chairs in both the sun and the shade. One day there was even Jenga on one of the tables.
I was told that when it's open, you need to book your ticket months in advance.

I mean how much more could you expect from architecture, sculpture, and landscape blending into one modern experience?
It’s definitely a big tourist spot, but as a local I love coming here a few times a month to revel in the sheer architectural amazingness that this space is…
Currently you can’t go up it fully due to past suicides, but as of recent they have let you walk into the base. My condolences to the lives lost here and I hope this place can become a beacon for awareness instead.

Was lucky enough to visit the vessel before it closed down. Gotta say the views are amazing and the structure is an architectural masterpiece. Amazing photo ops from different angles and levels. Best time to visit is during the Holidays where the whole structure is lit and Hudson Yards is decorated. Will be back hopefully once it opens back.
