Although it was extremely crowded, staff worked to get everyone inside quickly as it was raining. All of the staff I interacted with were professional and courteous. The experience is incredible. There is a wide variety of art to see with a large collection of each genre. You have to plan on multiple visits to enjoy all this place has to offer.

Grate museum, unique and huge! it’s must have to visit if you are in New York, be sure to have plenty of free time and comfortable shoes on to walk through this museum. Not sure if small kids will have enough patience to walk as it’s crowded and really big. Different rooms, wonderful expositions in many floors. Its better to get tickets before and still a long tail to the entrance but it worth it. Museum opens at 10 am. Tickets cost is 30$ each and for kids till 12 are free.
Love it, was wonderful experience.

The MET was incredibly busy the day after Christmas. The nonmember line was down the street. Having a membership gave us a shorter line and quicker access. Impossible to cover everything in one day. We went to the Manet/Degas exhibit specifically, which was really cool. I liked the way they prepared the exhibit, and I was able to appreciate most every piece on display without feeling rushed. Busy still, but enjoyable. Their nativity scene with all the miniatures was also incredible and impressive. For those who can visit the museum more often, a membership is worth the cost.

Huge museum, grab a map and just start walking. I would start at one end, walk to other end, go up to next floor and do the same. We saw a special Exhibit about Harlem Artist. Incredible and the fashion exhibit on lower level is always a must see. Try not to stop and think about all the tombs and artifacts that were "taken" from All over the world 🙄

This museum is massive. You can probably take a couple days to see the whole thing. I went once and saw a good 40-50% of it. I’ll have to return to see the rest of it. Admission is $30 for an adult. If you want to pay less than the general admission ticket then you need a valid state ID. However, even though I wasn’t a resident and just a visitor, they let me pay how much I wanted to pay. One guy in front of me just gave a penny, I decided to give them $10. Employees were very nice and pleasant. Plan to go on a week day for lesser crowds versus on the weekends or holiday weekends. Wear comfortable walking shoes.

This museum is one of the largest museums in the world, but is still beautiful inside and out. There are literally tons of items to see, so allocate sufficient time to this museum. It would also be good to keep in mind that they close on Wednesdays and have extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays. I went there on a weekday other than those days and they closed at 5:00 PM, which felt kind of early for a museum of this scale.

Great museum! Top notch. Please consider this advise: if you are like me, that likes to enjoy things with time, takes photos and give attention to details, the museum itself will not be covered in less than 4 hours. I would dedicate a half day or even the whole day. There is so many things to see!!! The only bad point is coat check, is like they really don't like their jobs. Other than that, one the best museums I have ever been to.

I visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The museum's location is easily accessible and walking through Central Park to get there is fun too. The outside of the museum is impressive, giving a taste of what’s inside. The art collection is massive, covering different time periods and cultures. I was blown away by the variety of everything on display. Figuring out where to go was stress-free. They had maps and signs that made it simple to plan my visit. What made it even better was the helpful staff. They were knowledgeable and friendly, making us feel welcome. Finding practical things like bathrooms and cafes was easy, too, making the whole trip more comfortable. All in all, the Metropolitan Museum of Art is a must-visit, with something for everyone. I highly recommend!

The Met Museum is amazing. You could spend two full days in here and still not see everything. There are so many different great eras in history covered, something for everyone.
The App is very helpful, it gives you a full map of all if the floors and areas within the museum. It also tells you a little about each area... My best advice is to arrive as soon after opening as possible.

Huge art museum with a lot of different art to see! Highlights for me were the Egyptian exhibits and Japanese/armor exhibits. It can be quite confusing to navigate, but there are a lot of people around to help! Definitely check this museum out if you can.

You can spend hours and hours in this museum, truly a treasure chest of art. There are so many of the more well-known and famous pieces, and also so many little treasures of pieces that you can find and explore. It was so fun wandering through the rooms and being exposed to new art that I never had seen before. Truly a place that needs repeat visits.

One of the best museum in NYC. I’ve been here few times but never had enough time to see everything. We started out on the second floor. Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso and Klimt - and so many world famous arts are there. I’ve never known that Met has this many pieces of Rodin’s work.
I was overwhelmed by its beauty and need to come back few more times to see the rest.

Admission/check in time was a breeze even though it was super busy. So much to see here. So many different areas/sections to visit. You definitely need a few hours to truly visit each area. They had 2 souvenir stores, both with great selection. I got the cutest bracelet there which I never take off now.

One of my favorite museums. I have been visiting the MET for the past 25 years and a proud member. It doesn’t disappoint me and always in awe of everything that is there. My favorites are the Asian, Roman and Egyptian exhibits. Also, the art galleries are good too.

Such a culturally enriching experience for every art lover. Do yourself the favor and go experience it but do know that not even 3 hours is enough time to truly enjoy this wonderful museum.

They said you can get in free by 4:30. The museum is so big that it would take more than hour to explore! It was a great experience. If you're an NYC resident, you can get in by any donation amount (even just for a dollar for 2 people). Would love to visit again.

Stunning display of art from around the world and of all time. Days could be spent here but know your limits and pick one or two themed wings of the museum. Break up your time, stop and a sit down at one of the cafes. It will help you last for maybe another museum wing and leave you with a wonderful surprise find.

I really enjoyed my time there and believe me it's too big! So if you are planning to visit this place you must have 3-4 hours to see all the things.

DO buy your tickets on advance! The lines are very long and time consuming.
