We shop here often and no matter how long the lines, check out is fast! This location is always well stocked and they continually restock. Built into the Queensboro Bridge, don't forget to look up during your shopping trip. The vaulted ceilings are beautiful.

You'll get in, and you'll get out efficiently. You would think because so many people shop there that you'll be on the lines forever. Not the case!
They have so much staff and over and an unbelievable amount of cashier registers, as well as people who direct you to the cashiers, you're out of there in no time.

Having TJs around you could be the best thing that you can have in the city. It's absolutely a gorgeous grocery store having everything you need. Cashiers are super duper friendly.

Just note that if you go there during rush hours, you'll see a huge wait line. So you better bring your earbuds with you :)

Wonderful store in a fabulous location. The store is very busy after 5 pm on a Monday. I shop here several times a week. I find the staff to be knowledgeable, friendly and very patient. The checkout line does move swiftly. Very organized store. When you stand inside the store near the shopping carts you can hear your voice echo.

New location, same Trader Joe’s!

Definitely one of the more beautiful, spacious/shop-able stores in the city, even more so than the Chelsea location! Two lines and they move super fast. Everything is clean and beautiful, as expected with any store Brian L is captain of ✨

Trader Joes has opened at 405 W. 56th in New York City. Its clean and modern and they have so many selections to chose from. We were very impressed on how big it is and all they items to chose from like wine, cheeses, chocolates, flowers, veggies, fruit, frozen items, organic items. You can tell that the workers have pride in the store and seem to be nice and friendly. I recommend visiting this Traders. We will be returning every week.

I love Trader Joes and this one is special. Located under the Queensboro Bridge on 59th and first, its a beautiful edition to the UES. The architecture of the building is magnificent. High ceilings with white tiles it makes grocery shopping a little luxurious. Nice selection of fruits and vegetables, great cheese selections and a lot of unique food choices. I really wish they would relocate the now defunct Union Square wine store here.

Great prices and quality for produce. Good cheese. Surprisingly fast checkout even in rush hour.

Most spacious trader Joe's in the city. Great prices, great quality!! What more could you want? Checkout lines are somewhat long but, they go quickly because of all the cashiers they have

Coolest Trader Joe's location by far! As with any Trader Joe's, great products, fresh produce and surprisingly low prices!

It's the same great store however this time underneath the Ed Koch (Queensboro) Bridge. The vaulted ceilings are impressive giving the feeling of ample space.

After all, 59th St. has a better selection than Long Island City! Make sure need to go to the opening time. Otherwise too many people and a long line at the cashier.

Great new location! No lines. Super spacious. One would never know they were in a Trader Joe’s in the city!!! Awesome job. I almost regret posting about it, because I want it to be my little secret.

great Trader Joe’s —Upper East Side location. super big (for NYC). really clean, brightly lit. laid out well and super organized. big aisles and airy. well-stocked. this is a great addition to the growing list of Trader Joe’s locations.

stopped by here a bunch of times post-workout to grab groceries. there has yet to be a time when anything has been out of stock. the quality of the TJ produce is good. this store never feels crowded despite it teeming with people constantly. this is a standout Trader Joe’s location.

staff are friendly and helpful. i appreciate the effort to keep the checkout lines organized.

My first visit at this location. I'm reluctant to talk it up too much for fear it'll become too crowded but it was the most pleasant TJ's experience and environment I've had in the city. Instead of jostling with other customers's carts and trying not to get run over by the staff, here the aisles are wide, like a suburban supermarket, but in a glorious space, even the one on Court Street in Brooklyn.

Amazing experience! Really amazing prices with the taxes already included in them! Not a place to go shop for what you need, but best to go just to explore without expectations of having in stock what you need.

My life has been changed for good. So thankful this beautiful Trader Joe’s is here. It’s the best because it’s a trader joe but also better than others bc I’m bias. Why would you ever go to pricy other stores when this gem exists.

Really nice check out guy at the till. Prices went up bit I guess that's just the holidays. They have really nice Atlantic salmon for a good price tho.
