Duane Reade

Always fast. I never had a problem with this, Pharmacy, as soon as my insurance changed, and I had to switch to CVS every single month I have a problem with getting my medication Duane Reade is my favorite drugstore chain.

The lines are long here, but they have a large staff working the registers to keep things moving. They have a huge selection of quick meals like cut fruit and sushi.

The aisles are a little cluttered and restocking is going on during shopping times

I scheduled appointments at the CV’s for weeks and then was repeatedly turned away with a rude: “No COVID vaccines.” This Penn Plaza Duane Reade is hard to find due to construction. However, Nickinta patiently stayed on the phone to lead me to the pharmacy and helped me further to receive the Flu and Moderna shots administered by Fiona. I am pleased I found this Walgreens/Duane Reade; the staff cares about vaccine rollouts, equity, and the Bridge program. Thank you!

I recently turned 65 and have a new RX plan. The preferred pharmacy for this plan is Duane Reade/Walgreen's. The Pharmacists there are the best I've ever dealt with in my life. They helped me transfer my RX's from Rite-Aid to their pharmacy. The 2 Pharmacists there made it so easy for me; I gave them my information and that was it - they did it all. The staff is so professional, efficient and on top of that so friendly and helpful! You guys are the best! Thank you.

Too bad the pharmacy at the store is closing in October. The technician and pharmacist were great with the COVID shot.

I am leaving this review because the service I received here today was exceptional. I decided to stop in DR while I waited for the train. After years of searching for the right shade, brand, and type of foundation for my sensitive skin, Alex in the beauty aisle found it in less than 10 min. with the use of a gadget and answers to questions she had pertaining to my skin. I now have my go-to foundation and it feels great on my skin. so light and natural. she also gave me some great tips and recommendations. Thanks again

A very busy Duanes. Always keeping the candy extra fresh and the Diet Mt. Dews cold. Plus this is the first store I've eve seen carry my favorite lotion that I've only ordered online. HEMPZ is the chronic for moisturizing.

Very good layout of the inventory to find the products some cashiers are very fast. People who understand how rush the customers are.

Big store with probably the cheapest bagels in the city. It's right near MSG so it's very convenient

I went twice today to the very well located branch of "DuaneReade"/"Walgreens" in the basement of Penn Station. Loading the "OMNY" card was no problem (an absolute plus point, saves me a lot of walking) and the rest was also very good.

Staff very friendly and helpful, so really nothing bad to say. I'm just a little surprised about the good location and only 48 reviews. I think that customers should take the trouble to give honest reviews. In any case, I'd love to come back.

Zweimal war ich heute in der sehr gut gelegenen Filiale von "DuaneReade"/"Walgreens" im Tiefgeschoss der Penn Station. Aufladen der "OMNY"-Card war problemlos möglich (absoluter Pluspunkt, erspart mir viel Lauferei) und der Rest auch sehr in Ordnung.

Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, kann also wirklich nichts schlechtes sagen. Ich wundere mich nur etwas über die gute Lage und nur 48 Rezensionen. Ich finde, da darf man auch mal als Kunde sich ruhig mal die Mühe machen und ehrlich bewerten. Ich jedenfalls komme gern wieder.
