Lowes Foods of Southport

GREAT DAY THERE'S A LOWES FOOD!!! "Upscale" "Fancy" grocery store! There are great choices of products. Fresh vegetables and fruits. Tons of choices for tomatoes!!! There's a salad by the pound salad bar, herb garden, fresh flowers/plants, a deli to make sandwiches or get your deli stuff for home, hot station food bar, fresh baked bread station, butcher station with 5$ half rack rib Fridays (not sure how long that lasts), beer and wine garden with samples (I've yet to indulge). I'm gonna get a few t-shirts one day, they have cute sayings on them. You can check out with an actual person or an actual machine. Lots of parking. Clean and friendly. A well lit store.

Apart from Paul at the beer den (who literally chased me around the store, and then accused me of stealing, because I didn't know my can of beer couldn't be purchase at the checkout lane), this is a great place to get a happy hour beer, have a Friday evening drink and snack, or if you choose, get groceries.
Paul was quite embarrassed when I showed him my receipt in front of his peers.

One of the best grocery shopping experiences ever! Grab a beer after work and get your grocery shopping done. Great selection and a really good deli and bakery. I give it 10/10

This was the first Lowe's grocery store I've been too and it didn't disappoint, everything was very clean, they have fresh food, a bar and everyone was very helpful and nice.

I love this place. I love drinking beer and shopping. Not always the best combo though.. I buy stuff I don't need. The employees are friendly. They have good beer! We bought cheese and crackers and sat and drank beer and sampled wine. Definitely reccomend.

I always have a positive experience in this location of Lowes Foods. The bakery staff have been helpful multiple times when I have been looking for specialty items. The produce section is always well stocked, neat and clean. I can find my favorite items here.

This place is amazing. It will make Kroger file chapter 11 within the next 10 years.

I'm blown away by this store! We went at least 3 times while we were in town. I loved the salad bar, deli, and the wine bar. Wish we had one close to home! Check out this cart return too! So cute!

Nice store..a little pricey...good selection

Great deals! Planned to go out to eat since we were staying at a hotel across the street but had a little extra time and decided to walk around lowes while others were napping. Dinner was great and much easier on my waller because of these great deals!!!

They have a wonderful Deli, excellent food selections, great meats and fast checkout. There are some wine and beer specials during the week for happy hours. They also have a large variety to choose from. Friendly service and self checkout lanes also.

It's a good store, I love working here. The cashier are friendly and so is everyone else I know here 😊

You know today's visit to this particular Lowes was an experience. I usually go to the one on Midway closer to my house. I am used to how the Midway one is set up not sure why the 2 stores are set up differently but it is what it is
However I never would have made it through the Southport store without the help of Amanda, such a helpful young woman I am so glad she was there to assist me. If I was the store manager I would sign her up for Management Training this young woman has a bright future ahead of her, so Lowe's needs to recognize her potential and put time into training her as a manager

First time visiting, looked to be an excellent store.

This was one of my favorite shopping experiences ever. There is a bar in the center of the store that serves up delicious beer that you can drink while you shop. Lots of good products at reasonable prices. Not sure the CAB Ribeyes I bought were actually CAB as they didn't have as much marbling as I usually get, but they were still super tender and flavorful. Definitely coming back every time I visit my NC family.

Shopped here Thanksgiving day and was impressed with this place. Clean, cozy store and they have all types of stuff. Deli food was great and they have a floral area that rivals some florists. Staff were friendly even though they were working on a holiday.

One of the most customer service oriented grocery stores I've ever shopped in! In the past couple days, two employees stood out- Latrice (a cashier this afternoon) was so incredibly friendly and personable, she had me laughing and smiling. Another employee from Monday afternoon, I unfortunately did not catch her name, but she was younger, working in the self checkout line- she was also friendly and very helpful (I couldn't get my apples to ring up). Never thought I'd write a review on a grocery store, but seriously, this specific location is awesome!

Always fresh, great values (particularly the store brands), friendly and helpful employees, and the beer den is outstanding.
