Flaming Amy's Burrito Barn - Carolina Beach

This place was awesome. Fresh salsa. Different flavors to choose from. The fish and shrimp burrito was terrific.

Casual counter service restaurant with a festive decor, and plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. I'm surprised other reviewers would complain it's not an "authentic Mexican restaurant" because from its name to the menu, it obviously is not trying to be one.

It offers interesting, eclectic $11 giant burritos, nachos, and salads. The "Notorious PIG" burrito was spicy and deliciously meaty. For a slight upcharge, I got the fried avocado instead of a grilled filling for the "Thai Mee Up" burrito and it was so good! Thick, breaded slices! My only small complaint was that the peanut sauce was really subtle.

There's also a large selection of salsas to try with the basket of chips that come with every order.

On Sundays, they also have $3 mimosas!

A hidden gem for vegan food. I had no idea they would serve vegan stuff until I researched their menu in depth. We ordered the burrito and quesadilla with tofu and vegan cheese. So flavorful, I loved their avocado ranch which is a must add to your dish. They also serve unlimited chips and various dip options. Look out for the daily deals on drinks. They are true to their motto - hot, fast, cheap, and easy.

Suggested by friend and visited Amy's farming barn for the first time. Got phat boy philly burrito and it was delicious 🌯. Had variety of sauces selections, sweet, sour and spicy. Definitely mix pineapple sauce with the spicy sauce makes a good combo. The tortilla chips were warma and fresh. The service up front was friendly and the food was derived to us fairly quick even though the restaurant was packed with people. Clean washrooms and well maintained. Would definitely visit them again when visiting Carolina Beach.

Nice place to try Mexican fast food with lot of options. We liked the food and ambiance. Staff was friendly and explained everything very well as it was our first visit. I will definitely suggest to try this one if you are in Carolina beach.

We decided to give this place a try and I’m glad we did. I had the Wok on the beach burrito and we ordered queso and chips with a few drinks. The service was great and super fast! The house margarita was great. The pineapple salsa was amazing!!! The burrito was good, taste a bit bland, but as soon as I put the pineapple salsa on it it was a game changer!! 😋 oh and did I mention how big the burrito was!? They also have daily specials! You should give this place a try! I’ll definitely be back!

They have the best burritos in NC! Try their fried chicken burrito. I'm addicted to their ginger peach salsa. It's amazing! The dine-in atmosphere is awesome. Get there before lunch or you will be waiting in line outside.

This was the best food we found in Wilmington area, near the beach. It is big Chipotle-style burritos, but very high quality food, in a great atmosphere.
We ate outside and brought the dog along!
Highly recommend.

I've loved Flaming Amy's since they opened at their Oleander location. This was my first visit to this location, and I loved it. The food was amazing, the staff was fantastic, and the facilities were clean and inviting. They also had ample outdoor seating which was lovely.

Awesome fun atmosphere and staff! Love the big jerk burrito and the salsa bar with many different kinds of salsas. I could drink the jalapeno pineapple salsa! So good! And the churckey chunga in November... I wait all year long. Like thanksgiving wrapped in a burrito! Also the owners are good genuine people!

This place is awesome! The nachos were delicious and there burritos are off the chain! When we come down around these parts we always stop by for Flaming Amy’s. This place is worth the trip to the beach and then some. We will always be back.

Love coming here when I'm in town. Good food with generous portions and good prices. I appreciate the vegetarian options.

The staff are super nice. The burrito is so huge omg. I got the Flaming Amy, and it is enough for 2 people. Black bean queso was so good!

Flaming Amys is a must stop when I am in Carolina Beach! This time I tried the Thai Nachos which were delicious and flavorful. I ordered guacamole which was simple but good. The staff is good about wearing masks and making sure patrons have masks on. Thank you!
I do miss the salsa bar but I understand with covid you can never be too safe.

We had a delicious supper tonight at Flaming Amy’s. The service was quick, friendly and efficient. I didn’t get a pic of the food but as you can see, we had lots to eat. This will be a family tradition kind of place for us in vacations to come.

I absolutely adore Amy's Burrito Barn!!! I suggest trying all the salsas they offer. For all you spicy fanatics out there- I highly suggest trying the flaming amy burrito. The service and food was world class. Definitely a recommendation for both tourists and locals alike! Cheers and Namaste

Food is exelant. The burritos are massive. It's better to name your burritos before you eat it, it's the same size as a small child

If you are at Carolina Beach and craving a burrito, this is the place to go. Service was good. The burrito was excellent and the margarita was pretty good.
Heads up that masks are required.
