My recent experience at Bowman's Seafood was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a complimentary basket of hush puppies, which turned out to be the highlight of the entire encounter. These little bites of heaven were absolutely scrumptious, and I couldn't resist indulging in their savory goodness.

One of the things that made our visit truly special was the friendly and attentive staff, who happened to be family members working together. Although my family has owned a place in Carolina Beach for 15 years, we regrettably hadn't visited Bowman's Seafood until now. However, we're kicking ourselves for missing out on this culinary gem all these years. The food here is absolutely delicious, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.

We ate here on vacation. The food was amazing. My sister and I had the fried shrimp. My brother in-law had the fried flounder and my granddaughter had the fried whiteing. They serve delishous hush puppies with butter and honey butter while you wait for your meal. We were all stuffed when we left! I highly recommend Bowman's if you're in Kure or Carolina Beach.

Love it! I usually get shrimp and scallops. Their coleslaw is amazing! They will even deliver your food with a minimum purchase. I’ve always had a good experience here with great food and a friendly staff. They have plenty of choices even for those who don’t love seafood, like BBQ, burgers and sandwiches. I would definitely recommend Bowman’s.

You can tell it was Fresh!!! Unfortunately, they were out of Most of their menu! No crabs..No oysters...plus more.

Ate here Christmas Eve. Amazing food. Crab legs were good, fried oysters and fish were fresh. The christmas decor was lovely and aesthetic. Restrooms clean. Excellent quick service, food was hot with complementary hush puppies. Thank you.

This place is the definition of southern home cooking and seafood! My fiancé loves their hamburger steak and my dad loves the seafood my personal favorite has to be their fried chicken sandwiches or their bbq sandwiches with a side of a baked potatoes or salad are delish and my go to order! The staff were very friendly and they maintained a pretty clean environment! They were fast with their service and all of our food turned out wonderful! We’re so happy to see them open again!

Dined in on oysters,crab cake,shrimp,scallops and fish. The serve staff were very pleasant and attentive. Seafood was served very quickly. It arrived at table hot with golden fried crust. It was delicious.

Excellent...except out of crab dip...but hush puppies were AMAZING..DEFINITELY 10 OUT OF 10

They have the BEST hushpuppies I have ever eaten! Went for dinner and ordered flounder and shrimp. Delicious and so fresh. Friendly staff.

Best fried oysters my daddy ever had and wanted the server to compliment the cook! I had the best fried shrimp I've ever had from San Francisco all the way to the gulf coast! Spent many years in FL & SC but this place killed it! Amazing food!

Great sea food menu. Good prices. Free parking. Handicap accessible. No wait. Super friendly staff. They have bar stools, booths and traditional table and chairs. Very casual atmosphere.

They called it calabash, fried fish. We split the big variety plate. It was very taistie, great if fried food is what you love. This is a legacy restaurant, recommended to us by locals. Menu has not changed in a long time, I suppose they believe they got it right.

We were treated special.

There were a lot more cars parked at the fish restaurant across the street. Perhaps they offered broiled fish plates.

This is the most excellent seafood restaurant ever! We went two years ago and could not wait to get back. Today we did and it was well worth it. Not only is the food great, but the service was excellent and everyone was so friendly. We will definitely be back and hopefully, it will be less than two years this time!

My husband, myself and our granddaughter ate at Bowman’s Friday. We called many restaurants looking for a restaurant that didn’t sell alcohol. I realized almost all of them do and have some sort of bar in them. But it was nice to find one that didn’t. Yes, it was on the menu but they didn’t have any.
There are alot of folks like us that are looking for a quiet no alcohol environment to enjoy a great meal with our family. Keep the alcohol out and advertise that you are strictly family and watch your business increase!!!

We stopped here with the family. Be aware that they only accept cash as payment. We had flounder, chicken tenders, shrimp, deviled crab, french fries, baked potato and hush puppies. They did a good job of keeping our cups refilled. They have some booths and tables. I felt like we were a little close to the table next to us. Definitely a place that we will revisit.

HEADS UP: IT IS CASH ONLY! Your classic seafood- absolutely delicious! We each got a different platter, sitting at around $15 to $20 per person. I ended up getting the shrimp platter (fried of course) with hash browns and Cole slaw. We’ve been here before but this time we were really loving it! Our server was awesome and super friendly. As I said before, make sure you have cash on you because if you’re in CAROLINA Beach you don’t wanna miss out on Bowman’s. The flounder was awesome too. I loved the hush puppies too!

First time visiting...one of the best shrimp burgers and oyster burgers we have ever had...and we live here. Approximately $20.00 for those and fries...excellent taste!

Visiting from Utah and came here based on recommendation from my aunt and uncle who were here a few weeks earlier visiting from Atlanta. They said the fried oysters were the best they've ever had, so i had to go.

I had the "commander-in-chief" (the everything plate) and loved it. The whiting was the best, but the oysters were delicious. However, there was so much fried food... I just couldn't finish. It was the first time i didn't finish my fried okra.

This place was WONDERFUL. The people were out of this world friendly and service was perfect. The food there are no words for except excellent The tarter sauce was good and I don't care for it.
