Good clean store!Just wish they would restock the Natures Promise balsamic salad dressing. None of the other salad dressings were removed, only that one. Why? It was a good seller, because every time we came in to get some, there were only one or two bottles left after restock. It makes no sense!

Food Lion always has the best prices in Southport. They have Nature's promise brand bread which is made without using hydrogenated oil, this is a very important thing for my family. Also the dairy products are always good they have organic valley and Stonyfield which are wonderful products. They even have the best prices on jars of beets made with sugar instead of corn syrup, specials and friendly people make it a regular place to shop. The only drawback is they don't have any gutters over the entrance because whoever put this building together just decided to take that shortcut. I guess that's how they can afford to give us food at a reasonable price. Don't forget to bring a towel:-)

Perfect location for grocery shopping before crossing the bridge to Oak Island. Consistent selection with other Food Lion stores. The produce section is always well stocked with fresh fruit and veggies. The wing bar is a 10 out of 10. Lots of prepared foods including 3 different salads. Every time I've been there, they have had multiple registers open plus the self checkout. All staff are cordial and helpful.

Food Lion always have Lois to choose from and fresh produce stocked.i like their hot bar. Employees were courteous and helpful. The cashier was very good. She took time with me. It's at a good location

One of the best food lions I've been in,in a long time. They have everything you could possibly need but unlike other stores I've been in around here it's about the best as prices,stocked up nicely and the workers are all ready to help anyone at anytime. Clean,courteous and lines not to long or they call in people in to help so there's no much wait time and they do have self checkouts. Nice place to shop. Go see for yourself sometime. Can't stand up long enough to do prep and cook much. fLion recently prepped mashed sweet potatoes and beef kabobs please do this more! Good healthy dinner!

Love Food Lion. Always have the products I want and the staff are very nive.

I don't normally take pictures at Food Lion, but I was tickled by imagining the dilemma of a shopper at this scene. Cranberry juice or Strawberry lemonade Natural light? Think the natural light won.

The remodel looks good and the isles are well marked. No trouble finding items.

Probably the best selection and layout of vegetables! Even better than Whole Foods with better prices too. Close to the beach, no need to go into Wilmington! Good parking available. Recommend.

I prefer driving off of Oak Island to visit this store because it is less crowded and a lot larger in my opinion. The employees are always very helpful and nice. My son loves the mini shopping carts. The produce department is awesome!

This is the only Grocery Store on Oak Island and was remodeled a few years ago that greatly expanded the number of checkout registers. It has a nice deli, large meat section and excellent beer and wine selections. The staff are mostly long term employees that go well above providing excellent service. Try to go early on Saturdays before the weekly rental people pack the store.

We love this Food Lion. Much cleaner and nicer than the normal FL's we are used to. Great FL prices and they have a big selection. The butcher shop is very small and limited, as I believe they do all the butcher work somewhere else and ship it to the store (corporate cost cutting measure, I'm sure). But they have good prices on meats. For instance, their hamburger is several $ per pound cheaper than Lowe's (their meat prices are crazy high).

My husband and I are both disabled and are very thankful for the pickup service at our FoodLion in Southport. The staff have been very professional and such a pleasure to work with! They treat us like family and we couldn't be happier! Sincerely, C. King...

Great small town food store. Freindly and affordable. Stop here grab snacks for the beach.

Excellent store. Plenty of parking space, friendly staff, clean store, short checkout lines, and good prices. Furthermore, they have one of the biggest collections of beer/IPA in the Southport area that I've found.
