Round's Hardware

Friendly and professional service. I appreciated that someone greeted me right when I walked in and that he helped me find what I needed. The cashier was also kind and helpful when I called ahead to check inventory. This is traditional customer service done right.

Had the best experience as usual have been shopping here for years getting plumbing supplies for kitchen pipes for the radiators and other stuff for the house throughout the years it's always been a pleasure shopping here the last 30 plus years and they always have what I need today I need pipe for my dryer and of course they had it !

Great service always helpful. Can't get more then 5ft in the door and employees are ready to help. Love it.

Love the help I get in this store, they really think about the little things (e.g. a guide to make sure you get the right size screws/bolts) and are always asking how they can help.

This place is the best! I've never seen such a variety of stuff organized so tightly in one hardware store - they carry everything! The service is exceptional. I have used them twice now for two different glass needs and they did it right on the spot. I priced it at Melrose Glass first and they wanted double (a piece of single pane glass, non-tempered, for a small cabinet door was $40)! They also do pool water testing and propane exchanges. Very nice and knowledgeable employees!

What a pleasant surprise walking into this store.
This place was great, not only do they actually look at you, they say hello, and 'need any help?'.
Worth mentioning, they have those balsa wood airplane gliders, haven't seen those in years-
I would recommend driving past Home Depot to support this local hardware store.

Really wide array of of everything a small hardware store would carry, Brownie even loaded my vehicle with the pea stones and the mulch I needed, and was absolutely wonderful.

We love this place. It's been our "go to" hardware store since the one in our city closed. They are friendly and knowledgeable and always offer to help carry larger purchases out to the car.

The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. My husband buys all if our pool supplies there and gets the water tested. The staff really knows what they are talking about and helps us keep the pool clear.

The store is cozy but has everything you need. It's so much easier to run in and grab what you need than going to a big box store.

I really can't say enough how happy I was with this visit. I was in a big time rush I got to a job and forgot the piece of drywall I needed. Was on my way to the depot and saw this place. As soon as I walked in a guy said what can I help you with and showed me to what I needed. And it was actually priced better than home Depot. I don't really go to small hardware stores but this kind of changed my opinion. When I went to pay it came to a number like $15.78 (I can't remember what else I got that want just for the drywall) and the kid working was like just give me the $15 I've got the change right here. In and out eazy peazy like I needed it to be. I have to say I will be utilizing more hardware stores when I need something small.

Ran in, was immediately greeted. Was walked directly to the two aisles for the items I needed and was in and out in a safe and secure transaction in less than 5 minutes. Fair price, great service, quality product, and I was back to the DIY project at hand

What a joy. After fighting with the Home Depot website and being unclear about whether they had the damned item or it had to be delivered, I called Round’s well before opening in the morning. The guy answered, had it, and was open before 8 when I picked it up. BTW reel push mowers are fabulous for small yards—zero maintenance for a decade, no gas or batteries. They just work, and are a pleasure to use. Just don’t let the grass get super long. Rounds has the Great States one and it is perfect. Done by 8:20.

I've been going to Rounds for help with my pool and for other odds and ends for the past four years and have always gotten excellent service and never had any problems. They've taken the time to help me understand how pool maintenance works. Plus, they let me bring my dog into the store.

I go to Rounds as my first choice. I have received excellent advice and customer service reliably for years. I love that they will always have leaf bags through the beginning of December when our Norwegian Maple drops its leaves. I brought back a garden hose splitter that had failed over the winter and was covered by a lifetime warranty. Even though they didn't have the same model, Mr. Round did not hesitate to give me a superior version as the replacement. They have an excellent selection of hard-to-find hardware; metric, galvanized, door, window, shutter repair, and on and on. Rounds is a huge benefit to our community, reliably employing our high school students and giving them great work experience.

I've read the other reviews and feel badly that some folks didn't have their expectations met. I've found that the folks at Rounds have always been willing to work things out. That's why I keep going back and will continue to make Rounds my first choice.

Recently I had an old faucet valve from an outside spigot and I was trying to find washers to fit it.
I went to a big-name plumbing supply company and they said they had nothing for it they don’t make those valves no more and right then I was getting disillusioned
So in a last ditch effort I said to myself, let me check out round‘s hardware in stoneham
I ran into Dennis ,who works there he was awesome. Through his tenaciousness and retrofitting he found all the right parts/washers for me.

Rounds has been my preferred hardware store for many years. They carry many items which simply aren't found in the large home centers, especially in the way of specialized tools. There is an entire aisle of small hardware such as wood screws, bolts, nuts, washers, special lamp parts, small furniture parts, and other specialized fasteners. Hand tool selection is also very good, as is lawn and garden, pool supplies, plumbing, and electrical.

In the rare cases when I have had a problem with something purchased at Rounds, I have always been completely satisfied with the return, exchange, or price adjustment offered.

So helpful and knowledgeable, the customer service is incredible and like nothing you'll get at a large chain, support small businesses and shop local! You won't regret going in because besides being so helpful they are super friendly!

This place is amazing. They have everything you want but can't find at Home Depot. As a family-owned business, they know it is all about customer service. As soon as you walk in someone asks if you need help, and they make sure you leave happy. Highly, highly recommend.
