Omar's World of Comics

Wow! What a fantastic store! Extremely spacious, plenty of books to dig into, and a welcoming atmosphere. I am so excited to have walked into this shop today. If you are looking for a comic book store this is a great place to check out. There are video games upstairs and I hear they will be expanding to serve more customer needs soon too. Highly recommend checking this place out! I will be back!

This is a perfect spot to grab food with friends, check out some comics, and get some board game time in.

This has quickly turned into a regular board game day meetup spot (as we’re sprinkled across New England) and the staff is great, the food is incredible, and their selection of both comics and board games is tough to beat.

We easily kill 5,6,7 hours at a time at Omar’s, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hangout space.

Also, the food is obviously homemade and is a good enough excuse to get you in the door by itself!

Love the game selection and organization. I need to update with feedback from a friend who's into comics, because they had many and I didn't know where to start. You can play a selection of board games (or surely bring your own) upstairs where there are plenty of tables.

Awesome place for comics. Great place of your looking to learn a board game, or magic: the gathering. Helpful staff, and just a fun time all-around!

We recently went to a Pokemon tournament that was run by the store. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The store was very clean and bright. There was plenty of room for all participants and spectators. The staff was extremely attentive to all my questions. The lan party area was very cool and my inner nerd was happy to see it thriving in 2023 where everything is hyper online. A small complaint was that the comic book selection was a little lacking. We were looking for a specific book that was recently printed and they didn't have it. Overall a wonderful place to hang out on a Saturday!

We were greeted warmly as soon as we walked through the door, and at first glance it was like walking into a Waldenbooks but custom built for nerds like me! Very clean, and very tidy we set to exploring right away and managed to find some cool trades by local artists.

Their game space looks well-equipped to handle multitudes of Magic players or whoever needs to get their game on. The added video gaming space is just icing on the cake. All in all, passes the vibe check, would go again.

This place is a hidden gem! Fantastic food in their bistro, great staff, and a wonderfully curated collection of comics, games and more. Highly recommend. Pick up some comics and stop by for a killer salad.

Nice clean equipment and facilities and amenities. Asked my friends wives if they could come out and play CS2 like the old days! Lots of fun!

This place is so cool....especially the upstairs where it is filled with all kinds of gaming systems you can play for a small fee. My son can't wait to go back.

My whole family loves Omar's! They foster a welcoming environment for people to learn new games, and have a great selection of games and books. We love the staff at Omar's. They are always willing to chat and answer questions.

It is a fun place with lots of possibilities for entertaining. Staff are amazingly nice and helpful! The food is delicious! I highly recommend this place.

They sell dice for 99¢ each. They sell toys and games, apparel, accessories, card pages, and card sleeves. Excellent service at this store. Perfect for waiting the 62/76 bus to Alewife.

All of the employees are great. Derek especially helped me a lot and had perfect suggestions for my taste. He helped me find what I asked for and gave me tons of suggestions which I would’ve never seen on my own. He understands sales better than any other salesperson and knows how to suggests stuff to customers without pressuring and being too pushy. I asked if he was the owner because he has the prowess of one. To my surprise he was not…. This is a perfect store. If you are in the Boston area there is also a good store in Beverley too. There is also a restaurant upstairs which is beyond unique.

Kind people running the store and playing here. I always have fun playing magic the gathering. Very kid friendly, which is sweet to see, even if I need to bring out my more fun decks. Haven't had food yet, but I'm happy to see it's up and running!

Such a cool spot! I stopped in with some friends on a whim and ended up really loving it. The food was AMAZING! Super nice, welcoming staff. Really unique business idea and fun for people of all ages and varieties!

What a burger!! Man, the food here is absolutley amazing! If you want to try some mouthwatering deliciousness, do not hesitate to come here for the food!
Also, the place is a gamers dream. Comics, cards and computer gaming!

Not only the best fries and burger I've had in a long time, but it's also an amazing gaming center and card/comic book shop! Truly the best of both worlds and couldn't recommend it enough. Treat yourself and upgrade the fries to the garlic parm too, absolutely jaw dropping.

We have a boy that has charge syndrome legally blind and 100% deaf and he's having a blast....right now the only game he's playing is a driving stimulation game...wait till he does VR games....going to the next level in gaming.

Staff is awesome....nice and clean and the up stairs game room is fantastic little drink's and some snacks.

We are going to explore here more.
