I remember you wonderful police officers every single day. You are all to be admired and have my respect and thanks for your bravery and results in the days following the Boston Marathon bombing. We will never forget you.

I walk in to file a report for being the victim of being passed worthless checks and I'm talked to like I am some sort of criminal. The officer was unprofessionally curt and animated at first but was eventually helpful after he spoke to a detective in another jurisdiction who was familiar with the incident. I also got a stare-down from a detective who walked in from outdoors when I was simply sitting in the waiting area. These two experiences and stifling constitutional 2nd Amendment rights command 1 star in my opinion. I firmly believe law enforcement officers have extremely difficult jobs, but they are public servants. Victims should not be made to feel as if they are criminals.

The Watertown Police has within its ranks one of the most corrupt group of LEO 's that I have ever encountered. I have travelled the world to every hot spot to include the worst parts of Africa, Haiti, the Balkans and Middle East. I have encountered and continue to encounter Government Sanctioned corruption on a world class level.
But there are officers within the Watertown Police department that could teach courses in collusion and corruption at a Rhodes Scholar level. I am not a liberal, I am very conservative and have always supported Law Enforcement and given them the benefit of the doubt. But I personally experienced the cabal of deceit and scum that can grow inside a department when officers think that Law Enforcement is a game, a hobby, and not a public service.
Officers are entrusted with the exercise of police powers to include the use of deadly force. The Rookies and Sergeants involved in my personal situation thought mischaracterizing an incident to implicate me to spare the offspring of a department retiree was egregious.
When my case went to court it was dismissed immediately by the judge; his contempt for the actions of the officers was evident. But when I tried to voice my opinions in the matter I was told the case was dismissed. When I asked to speak, I was told "The Case is Dismissed" in an aggressive manner. The judge essentially became an accomplice after the fact by his denial of my right to comment on unfairness of the case.
I will never forget the inequity and feeling of disenfranchisement of my rights as a citizen of this great Country.
Yes, despite the dishonest behavior of the officers and the collusion of the judicial system, I still believe in our Country. I love my Country and after having travelled the world and witnessed the torment to the citizens of corrupt governments, I thank God every day to be an American.
Despite the view of America that some media outlets may promote; Americans are well regarded wherever I have been , from Iraq to Afghanistan to Lagos. Why? Because we have rule of law. We have personal property rights and the little man is always championed by society against inequities in governance.
The treachery of these officers in the Watertown Police Department was in direct contradiction to the values that make America beloved around the world. The officers were screwing over someone they didn’t know (me) to relieve a Department retiree's offspring from culpability. Doing the retired Sargent “a solid”…. To me, they displayed total lack of character and engaged in behavior more akin to the dysfunctional societies of the world. If there were ever a vote to dismantle the Watertown Police Department I would rent an apartment in that town and clone myself. Anarchy is preferable to injustice.

They do great job of sitting in thier car during a traffic detail and hiding in parking lots!!! Hopefully I'll be close to the pike so I can just call staties if I ever need them.
