Couldn't have asked for a better experience for the extremely affordable price I got. I stayed here two non consecutive nights in late March (a few weeks ago), and I couldn't be coming away happier with my stay. I stayed in two different rooms, both beds were comfortable, there was a big TV, desk, comfortable desk chair, mini fridge, spectacular temperature control, and a microwave in both rooms I stayed in (on top of of course the full bathroom, unique to each room). I was expecting less for the price, but I'm really truly happy with my experience here. Checking in both times was easy; The owner loosened up when I complimented his spectacular green shirt and was friendly the rest of my stays. My second check-in he accidentally assigned me a room that hadn't yet been cleaned, but when I went and told him he quickly swapped my key with no hassle whatsoever.

I cannot stress enough that the negative reviews could not reflect my experiences here less. We're doing some renovations and I need to be out of our house for a couple nights again soon, and I just booked another stay here. You really can't beat this quality at this price. I look forward to a good and productive couple of days of work my upcoming stay here.

The location is great as well, just down the street from several amenities -- food, gas, convenience store if memory serves, ice cream if memory serves, and more.

My stay at the Bedford motel on 30 north road 01730 is one the worst places to stay. The house keeper is very nice and professional, the room are old and out dated, I have experience a leaking roof twice in two different rooms and also no extra towels available when they are already dirty. The bathrooms are also
out dated and nasty looking and cold and the owner Vinney is very rude and nasty and argumentative. If you are looking to engage in any sexual activities you found the right spot at this hotel. Worst place ever I can’t believe I made my girlfriend go though that all because I knew the area and recommended we stay out here so she can get to work worst idea ever. If you ask for anything your looked at as if your not at a hotel SMDH

The property exterior is very well maintained. The room was a welcome surprise. Updated, modern, fresh decor and QUIET! It was outfitted with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and updated tv with cable.

The staff was friendly. Being near technology row, sometimes pricing in this area can be brutal. The price to value ratio here was exceptional.

This was a quiet little gem I will visit again and again.

Wow! Such a cute little motel with the sweetest people. A great price for a cute stay. It was comfortable, well kept and worth the money. Obviously it’s not a huge hotel with a million amenities. But it’s definitely so nice and cozy.

My Daughter & I loved this little Hotel. But the main reason I wanted to leave this review are the owners. My daughter & I planned a 5 day trip to MA. First night at The Bedford Hotel & then 4 nights at an airbnb in the heart of Salem, that was a SCAM. The airbnb rental person put a fake picture of the room on the profile & lied about the whole house in general. Upon arrival, It was obvious he was a scammer. The house was filthy & the room was NOTHING like the picture, and suddenly the profile for that airbnb was taken down as I wanted to send a complaint. So without going into the horrid details of this place, We immediately left the house. After a moment of panic, I called The Bedford Hotel and explained to the wonderful lady what had happened to us. She said to come back to the hotel and she will set us up for the remainder of our trip. She was so kind and understanding that we were on a budget and our trip was probably going to be cut short due to this. She then gave us a room at a discount rate, during one of the busiest times for hotels in that part of MA (Halloween) she really didn't have to do this. It was the kindest thing that could have happened to us being we traveled 10 hours to get there, paid $500 for a fake room and were basically stranded. Plus, the hotel it's self is so cute & clean. Was perfect for a week stay for us. We are hopefully going back to Salem this year, and The Bedford Hotel is where we will be staying. Great place, great people!

An older building but extremely clean room with everything we needed for a fair price. We had a microwave, fridge, coffee pot, and hair dryer all clean and in working order. We have no complaints .

It was nice. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is next to an Indian restaurant. There is also an cream next door . We enjoyed our stay.

Definitely dated but clean and daily linens! Staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Worked out excellent for our needs! My daughter and I were in town for my nephews graduation weekend at Tufts University which was less than 15mins away so this location allowed us to tour Concord, Arlington and Lexington in our spare time

🎶 I pulled up to the 'telly round 7 or 8 and I yelled to my uber "Yo holmes, smell ya later!" I looked @ my kingdom, I was finally there, to sit in my throne as the _____ 🎶

Pulling up the driveway is like a flashback of what some would call "Old Americana"... Car Port entry, 🔑 & keytag with the room number, etc. I've yet to see an older picture around here of when they might of first opened with a 50's model vehicle parked outside which I'm sure most likely exists. I personally like the vintage feel, though it's not for everybody.

Speaking of everybody, there's a few idiots below like Charles Tringale & Ari Works who should be beaten senseless with broken chair legs.

Obviously they haven't read "Life Behind the Lobby" by Pawan Dhingra.

I'll never understand why the privileged refuse to ante up for certain expectations when it comes to travel...

Only complaint I have is that there is a HBO guide for June 2019 advertising "Big Little Lies" on the cover and I can't access the channel. That's ok tho, word is on the street is, the 2nd season isn't all that anyway.

"The Intern" with Robert Deniro and Anne Hathaway was on but I turned it off bcuz Anne's husband was such a mitch I couldn't take it.

The AC works so well I cut it off for a bit, my rooms clean, there's a nice ice cream parlor next door dunkin at the corner as well as other restaurants not too far away. I've been in bed for quite a spell and still haven't been chewed up so we're good.

We had to stay there for a night because our heater broke down and it had to be fixed. It was way to cold to stay so we chose to stay at a motel. It was very warm and cozy ✨ 😊

The people that run this Motel are so nice and friendly. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. I have no complaints. Worth the money.

Wonderful kind staff. Rooms were not filthy and has area in the middle where people can go smoke hang out etc.

Unually good, the reverse of all the fancy business sleep houses, kind old fashion great beds and a priceless view out the window. Just watch the step!
