Maddie was so kind and helpful and I’ve never had such an enjoyable experience shopping and getting fit for bras. The store was so comfortable and the dressing rooms have the perfect size to not feel squished in.

I was given recommendations for other bras the store has and was well informed on how a bra should be sitting with my body in mind. Truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and Forty Winks will be my preferred bra store from now on.

I’ve been buying bras at Forty Winks for years and recently needed to replenish my stock after having a baby. Not only were the size and style recommendations spot on for what I needed (support and coverage for a larger chest) but Rachel made the entire process seamless for me as it’s no longer easy for me to pop into the Cambridge shop. Shipping was quick, returning was easy (label included in the box). I deeply appreciate the care and attention Forty Winks gives to its inventory AND clientele. You don’t have to choose here: great customer service and great products.

Absolutely wonderful experience having a professional fitting and shopping here. Jess was great at helping me figure out the right size and alternatives when what I was looking for wasn't available in that size. She was patient, kind, and very willing to let me take my time. The store didn't have everything I wanted in stock, but Jess was happy to write down the sizes, styles, and brands that worked well for me.

I visited the store for the first time yesterday; it's beautiful! I went for a fitting and to buy some bras. Sophia was super sweet and very helpful. I found out I was wearing the wrong size and I can't believe how much better I feel in a bra that actually fits. Wonderful experience; I will definitely be back!

I took my mother, who is an older lady, to Forty Winks as her old lingerie store closed and she needed new things. My mother has a strong preference to have someone advise her on fit, and she was nervous about going to a new place.

The woman who worked with her was absolutely lovely--helpful and reassuring, but also showed great good manners and respect for my mother. I have noted to my dismay that people will often speak condescendingly to older folks, but this salesperson was very practical and professional, addressing my mother directly as a grown woman and making recommendations and suggestions regarding fit. My mother found two good options and is happy with her purchases.

The two ladies working at the store also made themselves available as we made our way down the stairs, since it had begun to rain and we were concerned it would be slippery.

Two things to be aware of: there is a set of outdoor stairs to get into or out of the shop, so if mobility is a concern it may be worth calling ahead to see if there's an elevator in back of the building. Also, the shop isn't cheap. However, for something a person is going to wear very regularly, and will have a significant impact on the person's comfort, it seems like a worthwhile expense.

Stopped in after work for bra sizing and the staff were able to help me immediately. Sky was super non-judgmental and kind, and figured out my size pretty quick. The changing room was lovely (there is a cover up you can wear to feel comfortable, and lots of body positivity signage which I appreciate). I found a great bra (literally the most comfortable I've ever worn- and it actually fits!) and the experience was incredibly positive. I will be back.

I will never stop supporting this incredible woman owned organization, no matter where in the country I live. I genuinely feel lucky to have lived in Boston just to be close to Forty Winks. The employees here are so caring and knowledgeable and have introduced me to so many types of brands and bras that are comfy, beautiful, and high quality.

This is a wonderful store for a wide and often updated selection of lingerie. They are a comfortable and welcoming space for people of all orientations

fantastic prompt and friendly service in a low-key and welcoming, queer-friendly space. I went for a fitting on a Sunday, and it was a great experience for someone who usually gets a headache from shopping. I was thrilled that they had a good selection of bras in my size, and they kindly gave me a list of additional retailers who carried those sizes. Prices were very reasonable as well. Highly recommend this store for a pain free bra shopping experience

Forty Winks accomplishes the very difficult task of being a high-quality lingerie store with an atmosphere so refreshingly chill that it almost makes up for all those judge-y or awkward undergarment establishments you've shopped at in the past.

I had 30 minutes between meetings and came into Forty Winks looking for some new work bras in a cup/band combo that is typically hard to find. Aurora quickly provided me with a variety of options, consulted me on fits for the designs I liked, and placed an order for a different color in one of the bras I loved but needed in a nude.

This will be my go-to local lingerie store for the rest of my time in Cambridge/Boston!

Maddie (Maddy? not sure which) was super nice and helpful in helping me get my size and finding good bras. I haven't gotten measured in years and was kind of embarrassed about it, but I didn't feel embarrassed at all after getting measured here. It's definitely pricey so I don't think I can come back here all the time on my budget, but when I have some money to spend I'll definitely be coming back.

I’m from the South Shore and drove all the way to Cambridge specifically to visit this store. It did not disappoint! I came in looking for an everyday bra and some wedding lingerie. Sophia was super attentive, helpful and friendly! She fit me properly and selected several bras for me to try on. Overall she made the experience enjoyable and easy. The prices are up there but the store carries high-end good bra brands (Chantelle, Natori, etc) so it is worth the experience plus the helpfulness of the staff. The store itself was super clean and everyone was very nice and attentive. Will definitely come back next time!

I worked with Sophia at Forty Winks and she is so helpful and knowledgeable! She helped resize me and pulled bras with big cup sizes and a small band size, which are hard to find in most stores. Forty Winks carries a wide variety of bra sizes and styles, and is a very cute and well organized store. Great experience!

Amazing! Excellent Customer Service! Very Simple! I never thought I would write that I had a wonderful experience bra shopping and Addie at Forty Winks did everything perfectly.
She listened to what I was looking for, explained to me the differences in bras and then showed me one that was the perfect fit.
She was incredibly nice, funny and I was in and out in 25 minutes. Also, I really appreciated the signs in the windows about equality.
It's a beautiful store and the process was seamless.

Best bra shopping experience I’ve ever had! I had been avoiding going bra shopping due to poor experiences I’ve had at Victoria Secret, etc. This time around I decided to shop LOCAL and try Forty Winks. SO glad I did! The young girl working (ugh can’t remember her name...) was beyond friendly and helpful. She immediately put my nerves at ease! She sized me and made wonderful recommendations. I left with 3 new bras that I feel great about! I’ve already recommended Forty Winks to my friends/family! This shop is a gem!

I have a larger size bust than most at a 36H and Forty Wink has really cute styles in that size which most stores usually don't.
And unlike other store's quality, the bras I've purchased have held up for more than a year! (At my size that's huge!)
Plus the staff is always kind and super helpful without pushing a sale on you.

I wear a difficult to find size (34H) and not only do they carry it but I've had more options than I've ever had anywhere else. I've shopped both in person and online and the experience has been great both times. The quality of their products is also fantastic; I bought two bras there over a year ago and they both still look and fit great. They also have a couple of programs to give back to the community, which is great to see. Definitely check them out!

Lovely little shop close to Harvard T station. They had a wide selection in my sizes - at least 7 different bras in my small band/large cup size that is outside of the Victoria's Secret size range. It was incredible to be able to try them on and get a different size right there rather than waiting and guessing for mail-orders. SO worth the trip, and sold at retail. I am very happy with my purchase. The service was pleasant; Rachel (?I think) was helpful, not at all pushy, and available when needed. She was knowledgeable about bra terminology and brands. They also had a variety of swimwear, lounge bras, sleepwear, and nursing bras. I will definitely go again next time I'm in town.

I was referred to Forty Winks by a friend back in 2018 and found their service outstanding and bra selection diverse. I came back March 2020 and was assisted by Molly, who was a gem. Super helpful and also really considerate of what I was looking for. The bras I’ve gotten from this place hold up really well - they choose quality brands and are meticulous about making sure whatever bra you choose fits you. Molly was very patient while assisting me and I could tell she really enjoyed her job and was knowledgable about the brands and bra fit. If you’re considering a place to find some bras, I highly highly rate forty winks. Plus, shopping local is always a good call!

I had my very first professional bra fitting here today in order to get my wedding dress accurately tailored, and it was such a positive & helpful experience! I'd been wearing the wrong bra size for years and was so surprised to finally put on a bra that fit perfectly! Rachel was very down-to-earth and cheerful, and even helped me pick out a special piece of lingerie that looks flattering on me.
