Alta Clara

Exceeded our expectations! My family and I are in the process of renovating our home and need to find temporary housing. We’ve been searching for months.

Daniel DiMeglio, a leasing professional at Alta Clara answered all our questions and showed us many options within our price point. He took the time to show us key highlights that fit our family lifestyle. The property is beautiful and so many amenities…not to mention the surrounding trails and The Fells around you. I’m so excited to call this place our temporary home away from home. So many amenities (not only for us, but for our dog) and the staff really care for the property. I’m so grateful we found this gem!

We recently had the pleasure on working with Donnie who was setting up a Casino Party for the residence as Alta Clara. Wow, what a great location and space. We love bringing the fun to people's home and the residences and staff there couldn't have been nicer. We had great communication leading up to the event and everything went perfect. We are jealous of the people who call Alta Clara home, as it is obviously everyone there loves it and was having a great time! Until next year!

If you’re looking for a place that’s worth the money, this is it. A best kept secret? I’d say so. Some highlights: 20 mins to downtown Boston, via driving or the orange line within a 2 mile radius of the property, lots of food options in Medford, Melrose, Somerville, downtown Stoneham; 20 mins or less to the airport, fells reservation within walking distance (if you have a mountain bike like me, this is GOLD), pet friendly, THERE IS A POOL, this property is updated, true modern luxury. If you work from home, or work downtown, or would just like a mix of city and nature- look no further! These photos are from the fells reservation, just at the end of the street.

I visit Alta Clara a lot and have friends living in this apartment and when I say visit a lot, I mean a LOT. Whenever I visit, I’m amazed at how friendly the staff are, as well as the neighbors. I’ve used the pool, barbecue grill, fireplace, gym, common area, conference room, and walked around the neighborhood.

There are great walking routes for strolling around the pond and small trails behind the apartment. All gym equipment are very well maintained. The apartment is very pet friendly and the pet owners are very respectful to those who aren’t pet owners. They have a coffee section where they keep sweets for people to grab while they’re there for the coffee, and I think it’s these little things that really can make residents happy.

I honestly have more good things to say about this community. You don’t see a lot of apartment complexes with such high star ratings on google. If you’re contemplating on whether to live here or not, I’d say 200% yes, you should.

I have lived here at Alta Clara for almost two years and I love it. Super dog friendly, great amenities and the fells are right in your backyard.

Daniel and Julieta in the leasing office are super nice and very attentive if you need help with anything. Washington and Mike are leagues ahead of what I’m used to from maintenance staff. They have been super quick, dependable and beyond helpful in keeping my apartment in great shape.

The pool/grill area is fantastic in the summer. The coworking space is a wonderful way to meet neighbors. The pups love the dog park. Also, the free cold brew in the common room is amazing. There’s a lot to like!

I love living at Alta Clara!! The staff and residents are amazing, i feel super safe at all times and the property is beautiful. Definitely will be renewing my lease next year!

This place is going to be amazing. I'm relocating to Boston for my organization. I've made many moves in the past but this one has been the most daunting of all. Limited availability, sky high price ranges and an uncertain market has made my search challenging. I'm a very decisive person and normally can make my selection after a couple trips to the area and viewing a half dozen homes. Boston was a whole new challenge. So many place, so many amenities, so many towns, etc.. I have visited almost 40 places looking for the right place within budget. Every building has pros and cons just as every community does as well. I was going nuts the last 60 days and running out of time until I visited Alta Clara. I may have made my reservation to tour at a different community because I was not in their system and they were busy on another tour. I kept patient and hung out hoping not to be turned away. Julietta squeezed me in and she was so hospitable offering coffee and more. I felt bad and didn't want to take her time up since she had another guest coming. I told her I don't mind being rushed and I would only take 20 minutes. I figured it was a self tour like most other places have been. She took me on the tour herself and assured me she would not be able to rush through anything because they have so many details to review. I stopped in since that tour on a few visits and also had the pleasure of working with Daniel. You would think the two of them own the place based on the world-class service they provide. They have been so accommodating and helpful. They call it apartment homes. Your unit is your home. I could sense from the tenants that I met walking around that this was more that an apartment, this is a community. I've always lived in homes and dreaded having to step into an apartment building. Now, after everything I have seen, it makes me excited to move there next week. This place sits at the Fells which is super exciting. I'm not a city person, so to come home from the city only minutes away to thousands of acres of reserve land and over a hundred miles of biking and hiking trails is amazing. I highly reccomend anyone looking to move out to the Boston area to at least put this community on your list to tour. Who knows... maybe it will be the perfect community for you too. If not, at least you will get some cheer.

I’ve lived here for 3 years and the staff continues to help and be understanding. Donnie and Julieta are quick to help with anything I need and it is very much a family environment here at Alta Clara that I am extremely grateful of. This is the only apartment I have felt this way about, so that says a lot. Big thanks to Alta Clara!

My husband and I really enjoyed living here. We lived here about 2 years with our little dog. The pool and dog park were additions we loved that definitely made the property feel like it was worth the expense. The staff was friendly and maintenance responded relatively quickly. Definitely on the pricey side, but that isn't unusual for these types of complexes.

We absolutely love Alta Clara! The maintenance team and the front office staff have all been amazing. They keep you up to date on everything happening, and they are SO friendly and welcoming. The apartments are beautiful and in such great shape. And the location is amazing! Right in the fells with access to great trails, and so quiet and peaceful. Truly a paradise right outside the city, we hope to stay here for many years! Feels like home.

I've been at Alta Clara for a little over a year now and was happy to renew my lease for another year! It's a great dog-friendly community, and management makes everything run smoothly. Julieta and Daniel in the leasing office are always attentive to any issues that come up, and the maintenance team is great as well! You also can't beat the location - you have the Fells as your backyard while being less than 10 miles from the city.

We've been living in Alta Clara for over two years, and it's been amazing! The leasing team is always very helpful and quick with all our requests when needed. The amenities are great and very well looked after. We love spending time barbecuing and enjoying the pool and the fireplace spot. We really love Alta Clara!

We’ve been living at Alta Clara for almost 3 years and it’s an amazing complex and community! The leasing team is super friendly and accommodating. I love how pet friendly it is here with the dog park and doggy spa. There’s also easy access to the Middlesex Fells reservoir and trails. Only great things to say about Alta Clara!

I've only lived here a few months but so far I have absolutely loved living here! The layout of the one bedroom apartment is very efficient so it feels like there's plenty of space. I like the ameneties and the proximity to the Fells. The management has an attention to detail that I really appreciate.

Location-wise I love that Alta Clara is convenient and relatively close to the city when you want to be close to the city but simultaneously feels a bit secluded as well due to the amount of trees around the property. 5/5 love living here!

We have loved our time at Alta Clara! The facilities are fantastic and clean, the apartments are very nice and surprisingly sound proof, and the area is very peaceful with lots of fun activities within a few minute drive! Also free parking, pet friendly aspect, and a pool are amazing benefits!

Have absolutely loved living here for 2 years, and honestly disappointed that our 3rd year will be our final year here as we relocate. There's so much that sets this place apart, but I think it truly boils down to the community. From the dog park friends, to the parent friends, to the community garden friends, to the gym friends, and work from home friends, on top of all the social events, there's so many ways to connect with your neighbors. We're grateful for everything the Alta Clara team has built and provided to the residents to take this beyond luxury living to a truly incredible community, that also happens to have fabulous amenities.

I moved into Alta Clara in January and love it here! The staff is friendly, helpful and quick to address any issues that may arise. The community is super dog friendly which was a relief when looking for somewhere to move with my Great Dane. Having the Fells as our backyard has made our daily walks so enjoyable.

The grounds are well kept, neighbors are friendly and the location is incredibly convenient. Can’t say enough good things about Alta Clara!
