Great place to walk, dog friendly (with dog park included) picnic area, rest rooms plenty of space to just lay in the grass to enjoy the sunshine or lie in the shade, tubing and kayaking as well

Great park for walking, running, biking, picnics, etc. It also has facilities for several sports, and a playground for kids. Check it out - it's big and runs parallel to Amboy Rd. and the French Broad River for quite a distance. Your tax dollars are spent wisely here to provide this fine park.

Lovely park with river views. I set up a blanket in a sunny field with my pup send enjoyed the sunny afternoon. Nice people and nice dogs!

The park is finally dried out from the recent tropical deluge.The parking lot by the recently-become main tuber artery was closed as of September 5. It was dry, so maybe it'll open soon.

Love this park for so many reasons. We have been coming here since my daughter was little and it is still a favorite spot for our family.

Nice park with a bike trail connecting to Carrier Park. As other's have mentioned, the downside is flooding when the French Broad river is up after too much rain.

This is a great park, with ample space and options to keep everyone happy. The only issue is that whenever there's a heavy rain, the entire park floods.

Love walking my dog there

Well maintained wide paved roads. Plenty of grassy areas and can walk to next park where there are trash cans with recycling and eating areas.

Nice place to walk or bike. Great view of the river. I rode a bike all over the park.

Great place to take the 4 legged kids too and has a lot of places to sit and look at river

Beautiful, well kept park. Bathrooms are clean and water fountains work.
