Not what I was expecting. Stumbled across the Pinball Museum because it was cold & looking to stay warm. Glad we found this little gem by mistake. For $15 you can play the old pinball & arcade games as long as you want. I believe I saw a sign saying over 75+ games to play. Highly recommend to make a reservation as we came in about an hour after opening & had to wait about an hour. They took our number, we went to a Nearby coffee shop and waited til it was our turn. We had a lot of fun.

first let me say this: FREE to enter with no obligation to play. $15 for all day play.

This place was super cool!!! Very 80’s themed and for someone like myself, born in ‘92, I must admit I was a bit skeptical when my wife suggested we visit. We walked in and the gentleman at the counter explained to us it was free to tour and $15 for an all you can play pass. We walked around for about 20 minutes and we’re very intrigued. We bought 2 passes and played away! This was a very fun experience and each game has cards above it explaining a little about the history and the year. It was very cool playing games that my parents played as teenagers and calling them for advice. Our 3 month old baby was put to sleep by the dark setting and lights/ sounds, so that helped. A MUST visit if you’re in town. They also have a bag check and a coat check so that you can be a bit more comfortable.

So happy we came to the pinball museum on our weekend getaway. I didn’t realize how many games there were to actually play. There are three different rooms. 2 of them being old arcade game, which I didn’t know upon arrival. It was a great surprise. I am 20 and still enjoyed the theme of the 80’s. Time flies when you’re in here. We spent two hours playing away.
The only comment I would make is the parking situation is not easy, but no fault to the museum.

First come, first serve! Only, 15$ admission price for all-day play, and 100% worth it. Highly recommend arriving 20-30 minutes before opening to guarantee a quick entry. Was first in line on a New Years Eve, and they only allow 63 people in at one time so everyone can play. You may have to wait for an extended period of time (1 to 2+ hours)

Super fun, awesome experience, and loads of great history! Classics everyone can enjoy. Just pack your patience if you're not one of the first ones inside.

Had a great time. This is a Pinball players paradise. You can come and go as you please on the same day is amazing. They have vintage art and they even have arcades in the back. The staff was super friendly. Keep up the great work guys.

There is probably no better way to spend $15 and enjoy the entire day then at this place. You need to get there about 15 minutes before opening to guarantee yourself a spot to get in on the first round. They do not allow more than 50 people in at one time and will not allow more in until people leave. You get a wristband and you can play all day. They have drinks and snack food. Every single game that we played worked, which was totally a miracle if you’re from the 1970s in the 1980s this place is unbelievably fun.

A fantastic history of the evolution of pinball. Machines include a brief description that provides context for the machine and the time it was produced, and there's a lot to experience across the ages.

Our favorite was Medieval Madness, but there's going to be something for everyone here.

What fun! When we arrived they were on an hour wait but the host took our name and number so we were able to walk around and visit the surrounding shops while we waited. Once inside the $15 admission price allows you to play many different pinball and arcade games. There is no limit to how long you can stay. We stayed for about 2 and a half hours and enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend!

This is the heart of Asheville, from the moment you walk in you are welcomed and understand that this place is meant for true pinball lovers. The staff caters to help you, you pay a flat rate with exception of a few machines and can play an unlimited amount of games, including older game systems in the back. We traveled here for our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed our time: we were treated with kindness, respect, the other players were respectful, and the atmosphere was fantastic. This is pure entertainment and my husband and I will come back again to the city just for the pinball museum alone.

this place is AWESOME! we were visiting asheville on vaca and my boyfriend loves pinball machines so this was a must! $15 let’s you play all day, but if you’re accompanying someone and you won’t play, it’s free for you to get in. you get a wristband to distinguish between the two. lots of workers around to help when the balls get stuck in the machines. lots of history to look at when scoping out the vintage machines. the bathrooms are large, dope, and decorated!! LOTS of machines here, as well as an arcade in the back of old games that aren’t pinball machines. some old school console games too! sodas and beers available to drink, and there’s a capacity limit to keep the place cozy, manageable and not too packed. you HAVE to stop in if you’re in the area :)

The Asheville Pinball Museum is so much fun! The vintage pinball and video games are so beautiful and fun to play. My favorites are the arcade video Joust game and the Beatles pinball which throws out multiple balls at once! Highly recommend this place for all ages.

This place is awesome!! All you can play, come and go as you please, lots of variety including some super rare ones. Love the detail that they’ve put into their location and the history lesson written next to each machine. Will be back!

A quirky fun slice of nostalgia. 35 different working vintage (and newer) pinball machines, as well as 35 different vintage arcade games (including the legendary Star Wars game) 15 bucks entry fee, stay as long as you like. People were queueing up already before 2pm opening, as they only let 65 people in at a time. We went with a group of adults and kids (10 and under go free) and everyone had a blast. Worth a visit!

$15 for all the games you can play. And the games actually are serviced properly and work? Yes please!

Also has soda, a few beers, and snacks. Beers are $5 per can, not terrible.

The place is way above average in terms of selection and decore. Way above. Max number of guests is 65 which is good and bad.

Would highly recommend.

If you get the chance all I can say is GO!!! We had sooo much fun. The staff is friendly and helpful the unlimited play is awesome. And for the price you absolutely get your money's worth. They keep the crowd to a minimum. You get a wristband you can come in and out as you please. Make sure you set aside some time because you'll need it. We went on a Saturday afternoon had a very minimal wait. They have pinball and arcade games. There a tags on that explain the age build etc of the machines. It's super laid back and we will definitely go again. They don't have on site parking but there is parking ALL over the place. For the best luck try the parking garage. It's about a 3 block walk. But I am recommending this place to everyone. It's an all ages place everyone can find something they like. They also have little snacks and drinks. And sell some local beers as well.

This place is great! They have tempest! They gave so many good pinball machines, and history behind each one. The display machines are also really cool. The back rooms also have a lot of good games. It's only 15 dollars for free play for the whole day. They also have drinks and snacks.

Super fun place. Went on a Saturday afternoon. When we got there we put our name on the wait list and told it was going to be an hour.

An hour later we got a text back and was let in. Loved that it was capacity controlled so people weren't fighting for machines to play.

Price of admission was for all day and they served refreshments at the counter as well as some merch.

Some machines were display only and some had a nice description with history and fun facts. The selection is immaculate. One room was for pinball machines. Another room was for retro arcades. And the last room had more arcades with some console games.

The restrooms were designed and it's hard to describe until you just go in.

Overall the machines are in amazing condition and the place was super fun and relaxing. 1000% worth a visit.

This place is definitely worth the price if you like pinball or retro arcade games. For one price you can play almost all the games for free as long as you want. Simple, cool, and awesome.

Incredible experience. I had a blast playing the games, seeing the historical machines, amd learning some Pinball history. My only regret is that I didn't budget more time for this spot.
